I love nursing and enjoy been an RN for 25 years. It's get so many great things almost it and of course, approaching any profession, go into it for the right reason and there are some days that you ask yourself, "What be I thinking?" I guess the worse thing almost it that I can think of is the shortage of respect that we sometimes come across, not so much from patients and families, but from our colleagues within the medical field. We are professionals who studied sturdy and passed our state boards. And that is adjectives I will say going on for that.
The worst thing for me be the frequency that I had to do it. I have a small amount of milk so my baby have to nurse every 2 hours. I could not produce it as quick as she could drink it! I eventually have to supplement with formula. Also, the breast feed in public be not my thing. I needed privacy to do this.
