Quitting a career lacking catch sight of.?

I just started working at a restaurant just about a month ago. I absolutely despise the job/hours/management and I would prefer to just quit/stop showing up immediately, without giving them a 2 weeks awareness. Is there anyway I could carry in trouble for this? It's at-will employment so I significantly doubt it. I've already recieved one paycheck and the only drawback of not showing up anymore is...I will own to come back to pickup my ultimate paycheck. I know not showing up anymore is not the best way to quit, but I'm 17 and I would never even put this duty on a future resume so it doesn't issue to me. I'm just wondering how to avoid awkwardness when picking up my ending paycheck?

Honey, it's a restaurant job, not your first corporate available job.

They have to post you your paycheck if you don't pick it up.

If you don't want to go pay for don't..and pick your next opening more carefully.

In regard to one of the later posts--- Most employer will not give YOUR check to a friend and shouldn't.

Why wouldn't it work to put what you mentioned? You want to stress yourself in the best process and that certainly does. I worked as a grocery banker for 5 years and as a retail cashier for 6 back that. When I write up a resume` I use simple phrases like: High attention to detail, Extremely organized, Able to touch mulitple projects concurrently, Quickly learn unusual tasks, High attention to customer service, .." Usually I put this in beneath a heading of "Qualifications" and then below "Employment" I list the company, situation title, and a few more details of the job. Also, one a "cashier" can also be called "Customer service/Cash control provider". It sounds more civil servant but means like peas in a pod - and your new prospective employer will know that. It also shows that you lift pride in your job and you aren't ashamed of any past positions.
What you wrote is true and looks suitable on a resume.

(social work :) ) it's a board of 3 people and I don't surmise it's REALLY competitive...not as much as some anyway. Interesting, individual as I am a caseworker myself. Think on your feet. I don't know how much experience outside of the position you are interviewing for that you own in Human Resources, but look at them surrounded by the eye, answer questions drawing on your experience, and if you simply do not know how to answer a examine, do not try and invent an answer. When a person starts a employment there is normally a periodic review. That may be 30 days , or 3 month or 6 month.

I believe you should approach your boss and ask him why you inferior your 30 day review, and when will the subsequent review be , and what do you need to modernize on to be sure to get it .

I don't see why you couldn't eventually be a superintendent. Your best bet is to get your foot contained by the door at a company in your pasture and then attain promoted within.

Whenver you put an application in dawdle a good sunshine or two (usually takes 24hrs to shift through) and then simply call upon the company up (say your first and last name) and update them that you are following up on your application.

If they say to christen back or even report to you that they will call rear (and dont) call vertebrae again a few days later. You dont want to ring up so much to be annoying, but call adequate just so they know you are checking up next to them

Even better than calling them up would be to just pace into the store. Its always better to be capable of look someone in the eye and shake their foot. Online applications are horrible because you never get to speak next to anyone. Thats why you ALWAYS have to follow up on them.
Call them to see if they have time to review your resume. It shows you have determination and intrest contained by working for them.

It isn't only JC Penney customers that do that...happen EVERYWHERE...like the party who runs into the grocery store 1 minute before they close and wishes to shop for their weekly groceries!
