Answers:
Hi Amber,

The thing to remember is that every University have different sets of Standards for the courses they teach, and the standards for which they will impart credit for Classes taken at International Universities as well.

There is a Service that will acquire a copy of your transcripts from your institution outside of the united states, and will compare those credits to provide Universities here in the states a broad idea of what credits they deliberate you have earn and should be applied to Their curriculums.

The question in the region of studying online is one that only you can answer. I individually think that you would find it Beneficial to speak beside an Advisor from Excelsior College as they have a program for getting your MSN. You will do okay to advance your instruction anyway you go something like it.

Nurses with a Masters for the most portion are teaching, or are working surrounded by the field of Administration.

Did you similar to your managers/co-workers? How often do you get hold of a raise? Do you go and get benefits?

Hmmm, I work at a Barnes and Noble's cafe Starbucks...so technically, we're not a starbucks but we're a B and N cafe that sell Starbucks coffee. However, I know that even tho there are numerous drinks, it'll bring back easy to remember because once you've made a hot drink, you've made them adjectives. I can't answer your question more or less shifts, raises or benefits because I'm employed by B and N. But, Starbucks is incredibly particular around how the drinks are made. They have an expert drink author come in every so normally to make sure organization are following drink recipes. Overall, you'll be fine. Just endow with yourself some time to adjust.

You really shouldn't have to endow with a lot of explanation as to why or what you hold been doing for the end two years, if you say you enjoy been helping out the ancestral in a time of requirement. More important is that you hold moved past that time within your life and are organized to commit to your career contained by the business you are interviewing with.

Good Luck.
Say you took two years to help out your family. Focus on the classes you took and wanting to re-focus your energy in another direction and how these courses help you do that.

Don't list the creature who you know would give you a desperate recommendation.

You may want to contact the two relatives who will give you worthy rec's and let them know someone may be calling for a rec for you. Then they can expect the telephone and not be saying, "who's that?"

Answers:
You might be capable of use that qualification to get onto a Nursing (child) course but you should really contact university websites for that.

Could other 'try' and find employment as a nursey worker or a child carer

Salaries per year:
Child Nurse (NHS) lb19,155+
Nursery worker: lb12,000-lb15,000
Child carer: lb10,000+

Not much money tbh, if you are sure that you really want to go into this job then walk for it, although for the nursing option - consider doing A-Levels within related subjects or Health and Social Care (far better option)

Career within bank ?

Question:
I am currently pursuing Undergrad degree contained by Math. Just wanted to ask . is it worth staying another year at University and bring a second degree surrounded by Economics (BA) if I want to pursue a career within investment banking (doing market/risk analysis)?

I a short time ago got Computer worker summer job surrounded by investment bank (working for investemnt advisor).i dont know if that would oblige later on within my career.

Thanks alot, appreciated

Answers:
They are related field and this experience definitely will back you!
You do not need to gain a second degree. They may volunteer you a position after your internship is over. Even if they don't, you can list the experience on your resume. That experience will put you ahead of any double chief who doesn't have similar internship experience. Remember, here are many different roles within an investment bank. Market/risk analysis is greatly general. I suggest that you find out which department you'd want to work surrounded by (equities/fixed income/etc). Are you working for the investment banking division or broker/dealer aspect? The experience will minister to, but make sure you know that working for an investment wall doesn't make you an investment backer. Anyway, it's up to you, but staying another year is not that important. Make sure your grades are top dent and that you really know your finance up to that time you interview. Networking is the key!!

I feel approaching such a failure, I am 25 yrs mature & have single obtained my illustrious school diploma. I hold had numerous job that I either quit or get fired. I just can't appear to find the one that makes me most joyous. One that I could make a occupation out of it. I obviously know that I enjoy to go hindmost to school, because it is never to behind time. The only ask is...for what? Have you ever be evaluated by a mental health professional? I don't suggest this within any kind of hurtful manner or to be indicate spirited. You discuss a pattern that sounds markedly much like someone that may hold a bi-polar condition.

This does not mean you are crazy, or mentally undermined. It just channel you have an inequality. There are plenty of meds on the market very soon that can help bring it beneath control and allow you to have a more stable, even control on your thought processes - which will fashion it easier for you to focus and make decision in your natural life.

However - a visit beside a mental health practitioner would be polite in determining that for sure.

As to your miscellaneous problems with job and what you feel you inevitability to be happy - I would look at a sale job. It's other changing, you are other on the move, you work your own hours, and once you are situated and in a groove, you can manufacture for more than you can in a salaried or hourly wage available job.
You need to find a profession counsellor, and take an aptitude oral exam, or some other tests to better determine some choices for you. You don't enjoy to go to college or university, but it is an alternative. There are all kind of jobs out in attendance, not just the retail/fast food type. But it adjectives starts with knowing what you want and what you truly are committed about, and also what skills you hold. Also be aware you can't be too picky in the genesis, everyone has to start somewhere, and it individual leads to better and better things. Good luck :)
Brother, you inevitability to join the ARMY. When I be a young man I be just similar to you. After four years in the service of uncle sam, he showed me the mode. I am a better person very soon for that special four years serving our country.

Is it glib?

Question:
to get a profession in the marketing industry? Or is it really competitive? Where can i find information on the subject of this?

Answers:
Marketing is an extremely broad industry. I know marketers working in political campaign, public transportation, manufacturing, insurance (data folks, not sales agents), research, a sociology publication, and more.

The just skill more broadly applicable (sélon moi) is sales. And that exists side-by-side beside marketing.

Writing ad copy is extremely demanding and competitive. Selling those same advertisement (particularly in a local or print-media capacity) is wide open open, though it's not necessarily trouble-free to do the job.

I'd suggest the best place to carry information about this is a university professor. They stay higher than the industry in a passageway that practitioners don't. And they would be really good at helping you identify what area of marketing (if any) you have contained by mind, and what it's like out in that.
Depends what level you are interested within entering and whether or not you have a scope related to marketing.

Entry jobs call marketing are often sale jobs. True marketing job market a product or service from bringing up the rear the sales hard work. You aren't selling. Some companies don't like to call upon their sales empire well sale people - so they send for them marketing professionals - and that is odd. They sell.
Easy or difficult is depend on yourself. It is not competitive and you can find a fitting job on the trellis: www.kiemviec.com.vn

I want a 2nd brief. I work 9-6 which make it complicated to find one. What places do you suggest I look for?

Question:
I need a 2nd duty. I work 9-6 and I most places want you to work at 5 or 6. I would need something after 6:30 and no following than 12. I thought about Starbuck's..what else is out in that? Serious answers please.

Answers:
You should work at a restaurant as a server or a hostess. Starbucks would be good too because you can attain insurance if you maintain 20 hours per week. Borders or another bookstore would be well-mannered choices as well. Borders offered bit time insurance as well, but they don't money very in good health ($6 per hour in Kansas). You might also try your local shopping precinct. Good luck!
well - you pretty much execute a lot of option by limiting only to 6:30 pm to 12 mid.

I be going to suggest night audit/desk clerk work at a hotel. Generally 11 p to 7 am. If you have 3-4 shifts a week - you would only enjoy to do double shifts 3-4 days of the week.

Not hard to do when you are young-looking. For a while in NC, back I moved to KY, I was working a full time first and second shifts at one hotel, and division time second and third shifts at another hotel.

There were times I would essentially work 24-32 hours straight twice a week.
First, why do you have need of a second job?

Are your expenses better than your income?

Should you be positioning yourself for a higher take-home pay at your current company or in another?

Are you good money to buy something or to take a class or something (opportunity) that will position you for difficult pay?

I ask because presently is the time to think nearly it. Once you get a second brief you will be too tired to think.

I supplement my income next to http://www.goodshephard.free1up.com... working only 1-2 hours per light of day. I'm sure there are other legit programs that can back you too.

My daughter desperately wants to work on cruise ships but doesnt know how to budge about it. Most of the sites we've looked at want money sent for information and Im worried it may be a scam. Does anybody know how she can craft this happen? Thanks H

Answers:
my cousin workes for P&O transport me you e-mail add and i'll see what info i can carry for you. craigchalmers1985@yahoo.co.uk
Apply directly through the cruiseline-Royal Carribean, Carnival, Disney, Princess, Crystal, Celebrity etc.at their web page.
When I looked into this, I found that cruise ships want two kinds of human resources: minimum wage workers to wash the dishes and verbs the beds and importantly charismatic host / activity mastermind types. For the host types they want people that are serious something like a career - associates with similar experience, ancestors that won't do the job for one season and next get bored and steal off. You should never hold to send money - that's a scam adjectives the way. Contact the cruise lines directly for employment opportunity.
Pros and Cons of Working Onboard
Many people infer that they would like to work surrounded by the cruise industry. There are certainly assorted jobs on a cruise ship. After adjectives, a ship is just approaching a small floating city, so there is employment to meeting almost all skills or competencies. Although employment on a cruise ship does allow you to travel to various different countries and to meet culture of all nationality, there are factor that you must consider before sending surrounded by your application or accepting that job. This article discusses both the pros and cons of working onboard a ship, and some of the types of job available. It also provides some tips on how to prepare a successful resume, application, or curriculum vitae. Please note that I do not work for any of the cruise lines, so don't distribute me your resume.
"Negative" Factors of Cruise Ship Employment
Do you get ocean sick? Are you claustrophobic or feel feebly in small, confined spaces? If you answered yes to any of these questions, after a cruise line assignment is probably not for you.

You'll be at ocean in adjectives types of weather conditions, and if you are prone to motion sickness, working might end up individual the last item on your mind! As a cruise ship employee, your small cottage will be on one of the lower levels, and you probably won't enjoy a port hole or window. Unless you are an officer, you will be sharing the villa with one or more roommates. Some might describe the space as "cozy", but others might consider it extremely confining. You will also be sharing a toilet and shower beside other workers.
You can forget the 40-hour week at sea. Most cruise ship force are required to sign a contract for four to six months, and are expected to work seven days a week. You won't find any jobs on a ship that you can do during institution or university holidays. All days off come at the train of the contract. You are normally expected to retribution your way to gather round the ship at the time of employment, but many ships will distribute you an airline ticket back home at the run out of your contract (if you have fulfilled adjectives the requirements of the contract). In addition, if your work have been suitable, you will be offered another contract (along with a plane ticket) fund to the ship after being at home for six to eight weeks. If you quit your commission before the contract is up or if you are fired, you will hold to pay your own passageway back home.

Employees are usually salaried in U.S. dollars while working, but do not receive any payment between contracts. The work schedule is flexible, and normally demanding. Good health is patently a requirement, and you will be required to pass a medical physical nouns as a condition of employment.

"Positive" Factors of Cruise Line Employment
If you weren't scared stale from the discussion above, you must believe that the many positives of working on a cruise ship outweigh the negative. Working on a cruise ship does give you the opportunity to travel the world and to come across many interesting empire. You will usually be working with a troop of people who are anxious to support you learn to do your position well. You will own the opportunity to develop collegial friendships with your co-workers that can end a lifetime. Although you are working every day, in that are some opportunities to progress ashore and see the sites. There is even time to sit on the sand and soak up the sun and the sea breeze if you choose.

The take-home pay varies among different cruise lines, but may not come across like much given the long hours you are expected to work. However, you seize free room and food, and don't have to recompense any utility bills! In addition, since you are working so much, you don't enjoy much opportunity to spend your salary, so copious employees are competent to save money while working on a ship.

Cruise lines try to enjoy a comfortable work environment for their employees. The ship usually provides comings and goings for the crew and a bar or reunion place to meet your crew mate on your free time. After all, if the workforce are happy they are more predictable to work harder to make the passenger happy!

Tips and Requirements
It is meaningful when seeking a job contained by the cruise industry (or any other industry) to do lots of research. The Internet is a wonderful tool with lots of information available for the work hunter. You need to swot how to apply, what jobs are available, and what skills are needed for the job.
When doing your research, determine which job appeals to you. Don't of late send within an application for "any position available." The cruise line will deduce that you are only looking for fun and not nick your application seriously. Try to match your skills and interests to a specific available job on a ship.

Some jobs are recurrently only available to those who own worked on cruise ships previously. For example, bar tender, purser, and tour staff are greatly popular jobs on the bus. Cruise ships like to reward workforce who have demonstrated the skills needed to work next to demanding passengers by satisfying these jobs from inwardly the current list of outstanding crew member.

Therefore, just because you worked as a pole tender or a waiter ashore does not necessarily mean you will know how to easily safe and sound one of these jobs on the train. You may have to start out as a room steward (or stewardess) and work up to waiter, pub tender or office staff.
Jobs surrounded by the engine room or on deck are also sometimes difficult to obtain unless you are of duplicate nationality as the ship's officer. When doing your research, determine what the nationality of the ship's crew is. If your surroundings doesn't match, it will be difficult to take a job within the engine room or on deck. Most ship's officers are Norwegian, Greek, or Italian, beside a handful of British and American ships. In addition, several of the technical crew job in the engine room or on deck are staffed next to Filipinos.

The cruise lines are very extraordinary about the commission application process. If your resume, curriculum vitae (CV) or application package is incorrect, incomplete, poorly written, or goes to the wrong party, you have squandered your time and money. Each different cruise line available job may require a different contract or a different application process. Be sure to read carefully when applying.

Beware that near is a lot of incorrect information available for free and for public sale regarding cruise column employment. Don't purchase anything without checking it out first. Read everything available on the "free" sites first. You may not call for to purchase any information to get started on finding that cruise chore you are seeking.

Since most cruises ships cater to Americans and other English-speaking travelers, it is important that you speak English. All cruise ship workers requirement a valid passport and probably a work visa. If you are from a Western European country, you will need a C1/D1 Visa from the United States Embassy. This visa is for seamen and allows you to work within United States' ports for a limited number of hours/days. If you are from Asia or elsewhere, you necessitate to check with the cruise strip or agency to see what the specific visa requirements are for your country of origin. In summary, finding a profession on a cruise ship requires lots of research, time, and the right qualifications. It also requires the applicant to properly complete the mandatory paperwork and to have the correct work visas and passport. Cruise ship job are difficult and require lots of long hours. However, you do get PAID to see the world and carry the opportunity to develop collegial work relationships that might last a lifetime!
Hi,

The solely thing I can suggest it to Write to some carry companies to see what your daugther needs to catch and experience she needs to hold, if it's any help I know that Beautions work on cruise ships if shes interested contained by beauty.
you never mentioned what type of situation, if its entertainment

Is Ameriprise similar to MLM type of company?

Question:

I know that Primerica is a scam just wondering if Ameriprise is anything similar.

Answers:
same type - so sorry
Ameriprise is a legal business with a obedient standing reputation. It's a commission-based job beside multiple levels. It does give the impression of being to closely resemble MLM but it would require further study of their payment structure to know for sure.

A lot of nation have trouble near the kind of brief which pays on performance because they are use to person paid on "entitlement". This may be why you conjecture it could be a scam or are being told that it is one.

Commissions compensated out to team leaders base on their team's performance, and to other level of management is a adjectives structure now contained by the world of sales. Most central telecommunications companies operate in this channel.

MLM, by the way, is a lawful and legal business. Most MLM companies extend lucrative compensation programs but, once again, those people use to one paid on "entitlement" will not resembling the performance base payment structure, because they can't accomplish.

If I can be of any further assistance, don't hesitate to permit me know.

There's a big stipend disparity at my work that's bothering me?

Question:
I've worked for a particular company for ten years. About a year ago the owner's youthful son started working there. I found out this bygone week that he earns exactly twice what I variety.

I provide my own office supplies because the company is strict just about those purchases. The boss' son has be caught twice pilfering from our supply cupboard. His excuse was that his parents said he could. His supervisor fired him but he be reinstated in his position the following sunshine. His supervisor then quit. All these things, I only put down to "that's part of mortal the boss' son".

Shortly after I found out this week, though, that he earns double my gross, I heard that he will be getting a pay envelope raise. That benign of feels similar to the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm within my forties. I've worked for my position. I can accept the teen earn twice what I do, simply because he is who he is. But more than that just make me sick to my stomach. I don't want another job. I resembling mine.

Answers:
you like your position, you are in your 40's and nepotism is everywhere. it does really suck but if you resembling your job try to stop listen to the gossip going on for the little boy that couldn't make it on his own and stick it out.
You do not hold any legal recourse. The owners can do what they want near their company. The best thing you can do is originate looking for another job. This is not going to capture better. In fact, you may find that if their son take a dislike to you, you will be fired. Or worse yet, one morning you may come to the bureau to find that the son is your new boss. This is the big problem near small family-owned companies. Another thing you will experience is that the son will on the odd occasion come to work and still get his full pay packet. Trust me. The best thing you can do is find another work. And when they ask why you left.do not ever enlighten them because you will sound small and petty. Just read aloud that you would like to swot a new duty that has more responsbility and the opportunity for advancement. Say no more just about this bad situation.
You resembling your job and don't want another, but it's making you sick to your stomach.
You really can't adopt the teen making more than you because it's disturbing you so much.
Give it more time and realize he's the boss' son so he will always acquire preferential treatment.
Can you deal near these problems that probably will continue?
