Don't distribute them some big re-write of your cover letter... newly thank them for the opportunity to interview with their company, confirm your attendance, and indicate that you are hopeful that you will soon know how to contribute to their company and that you look forward to meeting next to them to discuss your qualifications. Thank them again, and sign it.
I would phone or write them and say something simple.
Example:
Thank you so much for inviting me to interview near your organization. I'm excited just about this opportunity and am looking forward to talking next to you about how I could be an asset nearby.

You should touch on things that you can bring to this company, why YOU are the perfect entity for this position, and something about this company / opportunity that excites you! (But be specific - as one Microsoft recruiter said, if you read aloud the reason you want to work at Microsoft is because it is Microsoft, they won't hire you. You requirement to have something MORE - you want to work next to an industry leader, you want to work beside the best technology, you want to work with the best and brightest surrounded by your field! - adjectives are better answers!)
Do research online and have current, relevant information - use it to show why YOU are PERFECT for this!

If it have been more than 72 hours since you disappeared your job, contact your employer in half a shake and if possible HAND DELIVER a epistle indicating that you are aware of this law and asking to receive your final paycheck inside 24 hours.
If they do not respond within 24 hours, contact your local labor department.
