Well, it's more complicated than kind or not. For one thing, several American car companies own or are allied near foreign car companies (look at adjectives the companies GM and Ford own). Secondly, Americans have to clutch their own budgets and families into consideration as economically. Sometimes that means buying a foreign motor that might last longer, bring better mileage and cost them less money surrounded by the long run, (not to mention making sure the car is out of danger enough for yourself and family). It is wretched that our domestic car companies aren't doing as capably as they could be, but they need to create more of an effort to be competitive (which they are a short time ago recently starting to do).
A friend of mine be involved in crash test and drives a Buick (I forget what model. She could drive anything she wants. Her first two cars as a teen be a Cadillac and a Jag. New.) She asked me the same grill and said she was sensitive I bought foreign. I told her that when Americans starting building cars as well as the Japanese I would buy American. (I drive a Toyota.) On a related item, I be a receptionist at a car dealership and asked the BMW rep if in attendance was a difference between the individuals who bought foreign cars and those who purchased domestic. He said he had friends that be reps for domestic vehicles and that the difference be that when an American car requests work/breaks down the consumer takes it within to get fixed. When a foreign coupé breaks down the consumer gets angry. They don't expect that to come to pass. (And it does happen smaller amount than with an American made vehicle.)
