My friend wishes a duty deliver cars and trucks to purchasers but is 17, will he hold any problems due to age

Question:
He wants to work for a company intervening between leaving college and going to university. He requests to deliver vechiles to buyer's all around the UK. He have passed his test but will he own a problem due to his age?

Answers:
Hi there.
Most companies require you to be over 25 for insurance purposes although he might be lucky.

To deliver any produce vehicle over 3.5tons he will need an LGV ( used to be HGV ) licence i'm afraid.
I devise he will need a special class drivers license. I know they do within America. His age might stop him too because people will be smaller quantity likely to hire a minor due to labor law and fears of being sued.
He will almost sure have a problem. Car dealer must, out of necessity, get insurance and actuaries can point to the significantly higher risks associated near young drivers.

Absent a blood conenciton, it is notably unlikely any automotive dealer would entrust a motor or truck, much less his business, to a childish and inexperienced driver.
Never find an insurance company to cover him.
Unlikely he will be accepted for insurance
he must enjoy good insurance beside no moving violations, I hold done the same (part time ) the requirements over here where on earth 21 years old, fitting ins. good reference, pays good. near all that ..polite luck
yes, the insurance will be costly for a driver at the age of 17.

insurance rates differ on age. they are higher for younger drivers because of denial of experience.
he will have a problem, most companys will not utilize young drivers due to the dignified insurance. sorry and good luck to him.
I doubt these companies whould ply your friend , due to his age , and the insurance costs

But it will not hurt to enquire , they can singular say no
Yes probably.
The insurance cost will be astronomical for the company.
Even if he covers this himself, not abundant will want to trust someone who has be driving unaccompanied for smaller amount than a year.

Being insulted at an Interview?

Question:
Had an Interview today, it started ok and as ive been to duplicate firm before they have a profile of me already. The woman doing the interview noticed that i hold back problems and i also own a phobia, she said 'Ever considered applying for a disability allowance'? I stood up and told her to sod off and stormed out the factory.

Can i or should i clear a formal complaint against her or the company? She was mortal sarcastic/joking about it when she said it.

Answers:
hang on to a stiff upper lip because sooner or later what comes around will travel back around. I know easier said consequently done
I wouldn't have given them too much information roughly myself, or atleast told them anything that they can judge me on. No issue how the laws are set, an employer will still mediator you.
You totally overreacted to that one. First off, why didn't you simply answer and not fly off the touch. She wasn't insulting you, she was asking a grill. A fair one at that. You behave really unprofessionally.more so than her.
sue her. only contained by america
uhm. meybe you should have taken it a touch more lightly.
You should clear a complaint if you felt insulted. She probably does that to individuals all the time. You shouldn't hold stormed out though. That looks very unprofessional.
sounded approaching a legit question.. possibly she was of late feeling you out.. Like why should i hire you if you "could be" considering disability.
How is that person insulted? She was asking you a press.

You should have responded near, "I don't see how that is relevent to this interview" or "No, it is not a dependence of mine to do that."

What you did was to a short time ago destroy your credibility.

What would develop if you were asked if you be gay? Would you have done matching thing?

Grow some ball and learn to help yourself to things like an developed. There are better waysto deal beside this.
take her to an idustrial tribunal win her the sack teach her to mock the without a job
I'm not so sure she was individual rude about it. Are you for a while sensitive about it? She might hold thought she was helping, though an interview really wasn't the place. You can clear a formal complaint, if you feel it be really rude. I would suggest putting it in writing. Good luck!
It is a concrete but legal press. If you cannot cope with it, you own a problem!
Of course you can. Put it in writing to the broad manager.
why would she know you have a phobia .....
You can try but you would just be making even more of a fool of yourself.

How do you prove that she be not giving you advice? Did you dictation the conversation? In fact, how do you even prove she said what she said. For adjectives we know, she caught you on a lie surrounded by your application and told you that you could not have the undertaking and you are making up this story to try to get even.
Prehaps you be being a bit sensitive,
If you could go and get some money out of it.why not? lol

But really, I think you're taking it a tad too seriously.
You can ask for another interview ,

if it be not there HR who said it next make a complaint
Yes, you should. I do masses interviews for perspective hires and would NEVER consider making such a comment. She had no business asking you this ask if it was unrelated to the brief you would be doing.
I think you are human being overly sensitive... my friend is in her hasty 20s and gets a disability allowance because she have back problems.

Oh very well there go THAT JOB.

Sounds like you are insecure nearly your back problems. That's not HER shortcoming.

What do you think making a complaint will do? She works for the company, you don't, I'm guessing they laugh their butts off after you disappeared and tore up your info. If you call they aren't going to do a entity, let me report to you that, she works for them, you don't, and you handled it thoroughly unprofessionally.

You need to swot up to be a bit stronger, it sounds to me she was trying to relief you out. It's not like she be making fun of your phobia.
I would put a complaint in, the reality that she joked something like it is disgusting. i6t's not a disablity it's a condition. you did one better than me coz i woud have smacked her surrounded by her mouth xx good luck n the position hunt!
It is weird that a "phobia" even appears contained by your records or resume or everywhere that information came into play. That is not information that you necessitate to include in an interview. Strange.

You can database a formal complaint, but the truth is that it won't get you anything. Sarcastic or not, your recoil was unprofessional and did not breed a good dint. So her inappropriate remark be kind of cancelled out by your sensitivity to it.

If you do choose to make a complaint, the complaint should be to the company on the subject of the woman who made the remark. Her actions may okay have be out of line. That said, what will you procure out of it aside of a lot of trouble? Would you even want to work here now? I'd probably verbs if I were you, as it isn't worth the added stress for a position you probably don't even want now, but to be precise just me.
No, you can't, first of adjectives. They are hiring for the best applicant for the job, and by you "standing up right away" and going sour on her was disqualification for that one...

Good luck next to disqualification with the state, also.

You erupting be an employer's scheme to see what sets you sour, obviously they have a clue, since you left so effortlessly.

Maybe your past text of walking out on companies precedes you??

Much good luck needed for you contained by the future.please try to hold your bad feeling, ok?
You probably should have a moment ago mentioned how you are not a quitter and always find a mode. Now they will never hire you because you have proved emotionally disturbed. Keep trying.
Leave it within the dust. It's her word against yours. She'll deny it and say "Obviously, he have more problems than we care to treaty with. I didn't know he be a liar too."It's a shipment, but she'll probably blacklist you to any of their affiliates if you provoke her further.
You must not be applying for a job contained by the US. It would be very unusual for a US employer to be within possession of the kind of robustness information you describe prior to hire. So, I can't really give you officially recognized advice since I'm base in the US.

She didn't perform professionally, but neither did you. Registering a formal complaint would have more substance if you hadn't told her to sod off and stormed out..immediately they will just see your behavior as a valid excuse for not hiring you.
Let's obverse it she did not act professional at adjectives. But there are associates out there that own that kind of attitude. The problem is what type of work be you applying for. Was it something that would require lifting? And what kind of phoba do you own? The reason I'm asking is if this have nothing to do near the type of job you be seeking then yes I would complain just about her! She has a work that she shouldn't be doing if she is not going to be a professional about it and she probably thought she be being "funny".
If you're without doubt certain that she be being malicious, and not just inept at trying to craft a helpful suggestion, you might pursue it. I don't know how much benefit that would be to you. You could bring back a reputation for being a vindictive trouble author.

Your best choice might be to come up with a clever (and not hostile) response to this cross-examine in suitcase you ever encounter it in the adjectives.
let it dance, you could made a joke. Don't nick people to serious, because if you do they other will make fun of you. Show that you don impart a sh***t about it and they will stop picking on you
I deduce you wil have difficulty proving this especially as you retorted. Perhaps she be checking your ability to be in charge of the situation and you fell for it. Best is to learn from experience.
I'm going along near what someone else said - since you told her to sod off and they have this info you aren't in the USA.

But ... capably ... it certain seem unprofessional to me! Especially to joke nearly it. I don't know what the system to complain is where you are - here you'd report her for Discrimination.

The solitary legal query you could be asked about it contained by the USA is "Can you perform the functions of this position beside or without adequate accommodation?"

Best of luck

According to the mdsalaries blog, the top 5 paying specialties are (2006/2007 base remuneration figures):

1) Orthopedic Surgeons at $403,000
2) Radiologists at $394,000

4) Urologists at $340,000

Without caring and compassion, adjectives the other skills are useless.
Become a lawyer.
Here's an evaluation: I hope that I never have an opportunity to be treated by a physician who go into his specialty because he thought that it was an confident way to product a lot of money.

And that's the kindest method that I can state it. Ordinarily I would do some research on the Internet for two points, but in your satchel, I will recommend that you do it yourself.

You might start with Proctology. It seem suited to your approach.
I work for the answering service at the local hospital here. I can tell you by far, the untouchable paid on our staff are the neurosurgeons. (Biggest ego's too!)
http://alliedphysicians.com/salary-surve...

I one-sidedly hear that neurosurgeons are the highest-paid because of their tedious surgeries and the amount of training they enjoy to go through. Cardiothoracic surgery pays terrifically high too.
My assessment is that it's pathetic for you to opt what you'll spend your life doing by how much money you'll bring for it. You just said completely converse things. You cannot be passionate nearly helping people within need if you are wanting the most money... because most of the population that have wants are poor, and need uncomplicated care.

Get over your egotistical self.

In CT, at least when I be 14, you had option of working on a farm, working as a database clerk in an department, or working as a bagger in a grocery store. You are extremely limited for what you are allowed to do, most places you call for to be 16 or over. Plus you will need to obtain a work permit from your academy.

I'm 15 and I'm 16 within a week. Should I apply for a commission very soon or hang around the week?

Question:
I really want a job already

Answers:
I'd resembling to take a moment and applaud you. It is great to see a youth surrounded by today's world who is willing to work and desires to make something or themselves ... /clap

I would loaf a week. You need to put your birthday on application. Someone might look at your birthday and disreguard you immediatly because you are not of age however. I know it is only a week, but population look for excuses to say no some times. That anyone said, it is only a week. Go out very soon and get your applicaitons and hold them filled out so on your birthday (hell, the year after your birthday, enjoy yourself) stir deliver them. Hand them personally to the hiring negotiator and maybe strike up an converstion nearly how you are only merely 16. I think that would look flawless and would show real inititive.
Wait until you are 16. A lot more companies hire society who are 16 than 15.
get a commission even if small part time job they look god when you 18 and looking for a better job becuase you enjoy experience and good refs you will win hired ahead of others i made the mistake of waiting to 18 to work and it hurt me i had friends start working at 14 some stale the books at 12 giving out flyers etc. start at a in haste food place many citizens make fun of it but you swot alot and they base positions not on age but frozen work why you think they so heaps managers surrounded by fastfoods and even more young owners of swift foods than before they be laughing at them then but they the ones very soon with the hot rides house and vacation yearly at least possible hope this helps, honest luck
Apply now by the time they stir through your application, interview, etc. you will be 16. BTW Happy Birthday!
Go ahead and start applying. It's doubtful that you'll get the first post you apply for unless you're lucky. You typically have to apply at tiniest 10 places before you go and get a job. I be lucky and only have to apply for 5. But yes, go ahead and start.

Which opportunity is better?

Question:
I am a college student and I can either work at Wendys for minimum wage but reclaim on gas money because it's only 3 miles away or I can work at Hampton Inn and be a housekeeper for resembling 7 anhour but it's about 15 mins away? for good gas wendys is more logical but I am still torn

Answers:
Personally for me I would choose the housekeeper position for several reasons. First bad you get to work independently which I prefer, and you can work at your own stride. Secondly you will get compensated more, and have longer hours. Thirdly smaller number stress, more time to think, or visualize, or sing while you clean. Thirdly housekeeping can be amazingly therapeutic. Fourthly you will manufacture some tips, and finally more money saved. You can put correct in a jar and $5.00's here, $1.00 within. Pretty soon before you knowing you enjoy a nice little savings report. It's ultimately up to you, but way the pros and cons of both job. Good Luck Sweetie!
hand down---housekeeping. You don't hold to deal w/ silly those, it's not as monotanous and it's more money. Nobidy wants to hold Wendy's on thier res.Besides working at a hotel will give you agency better experiance
What the heck is your minimum wage at? What state are you in? I would right to be heard housekeeping. you can move up there. you can't at wendy's.
The cross-examine is which job will you be happiest next to for the longest amount of time, being a housekeeper you will not own to deal beside people as much as working at wendys are you a perfect people individual? I would make a inventory of pros and cons of each opening and weigh them before decide.
Wendy's does sound more convenient and in your favour gas is important. You probably won't gather a lot by working at Wendy's so I'd only take the profession I truly wanted more. I'm surprised that Wendy's is singular paying minimum wage. Most places that I have lived, the prompt food industry pays more than that. Find out if Wendy's will increase your salary after a couple months near them.
Both jobs enjoy pros and cons...
Almost everyone has worked at a fastfood place some time within their life, so it's not a "bad" article. However, the customers can be idiots, rude, and nasty...
The housekeeping undertaking could be pretty gross too... I have a friend who's ethnic group owns a motel on the beach, and she is other cleaning up beer bottles and condoms and dog poop... People dont treat hotel rooms like they would their own home.. Or perchance they do... But I think I've purely convinced myself to work at Wendy's instead.. I dont want to clean up after inconsiderate slobs that I dont even know!
Less trouble when you are housekeeping. Working at Wendy's near the public will be more stressful.
Before considering either work options, did you first check into signing onto a local provisional employment/staffing agency since office work pays plentifully more money.

Good luck!

Which areas contained by more job oracle developer or DBA Track??Please Specify the stipend packages also.?

Question:
i know the salary packages the oracle within two different areas as a DBA or Developer track.

Please Suggest.

Guid to me the right way.
THanks

Answers:
Where do you want to be long possession. If you want to get into IT direction or architechture then the DBA route is the process to go. If you want to stay doing the nuts and bolts work, a developer track may be better. IMO the DBA assignment is easier and for some reason seem to pay more. I know tons DBA's that are bored to death next to their jobs though.

Good Luck
DBA is the best track. you can start at Developer, but aim to be DBA. obtain the ground level concepts first past directly getting into DBA region, unless you have the unfinished concepts. Oracle is easy to revise and can be done all self is you enjoy resources like internet, a notebook.
Salary woule be good at DBA stratum when compared to Developer and the more experience you have near complex environments, the more you get.

Quitting at a hurriedly food place?

Question:
I am a teenager and I want to quit my duty at a fast food place, for several reasons. ( I own been working nearby for about two weeks.) People vote that you should give a 2 weeks perceive, but does that apply to fast food places? I surface bad nearly quitting after a short period of time, and I don't want other companies/ busineses thinking that I would do this to them within the future.

Just confer me any words of wisdom you guys hold from my paragraph.

Answers:
Is this your first job?

I'd recommend at most minuscule trying to talk to my boss roughly speaking whatever the situation is first. A little affability and LOTS of honesty could just progress a long way. If it's interpersonal problems, it may be something that they're not aware of. Your discussion to them might just be what make them aware of it.

You don't give like mad of information in your examine. Is it the money or lack thereof? Got a better profession?

Look, you're young, so I'll share a bit of experience from this ripened fart. If you've a legitimate idea to leave, most employer understand that if it's explained within future interviews. But above adjectives else, let your boss know what you're thinking. The ending thing you really want to do is burn a bridge. You might enjoy to go wager on there some morning again.

Good luck kid!
You should always donate two weeks notice. If you are wacky at the management for something, you will not be getting stern at them by just disappearing. The people that you will be screw over are your co-workers who are working fourteen hour shifts to cover yours
generally you should other give at least possible 2 weeks notice, but since you haven't worked within very long as long as you hold a good explanation for quitting it won't look to bad on you but be sure you hold a good aim or you will have a knotty time getting another job.
2 days. A 2 week assignment isn't much of a reference.
You should hand over them two weeks notice. Your subsequent employer will call them just about your employment there. One of the question they'll ask is if you are re-hirable, if you didn't give 2 weeks become aware of, the answer will likely be no, which will construct you a less viable contestant for your next chore. (only having worked here 2 weeks will already make you smaller number appealing, but that will compound your problem)
