Another one is I was a Secret Shopper. I did this for Safeway. I be referred to the job, but you could contact any herald office for a grocery or department store that have locations near you and ask if they own a secret shopper program. Then there be research (which I'm still doing, although for dh's staffing firm & we're in an office) for a headhunter I know way final when. Staffing agencies, completely often hold jobs all set to be filled, but may capture a bad rap because they are fundamentally selective in the candidate that they present to their client. Not at all. We use temp agencies at my work when we own clerical openings. We own offered permanent positions to almost every temp that have come to work for us. I know many individuals that have have great experiences with temp agencies. The knob is to do some research about the temp agency you are thinking of using. Make sure they supply staff contained by the fields you are interested within.

Of course, I am going to get a ("real") position but I can't decide what I want to do. I will graduate within May (08) w/ a B.A. in English/Literature and I own no idea what to do near it. The only entity I'm good at is institution & I don't want to go to graduate conservatory (at least not right away) and I don't mainly want to be a teacher or legal representative and those are the only 3 things I ever hear my classmates chitchat about becoming- except of course a homeless writer :) I enjoy talked to adjectives of my friends family and they do not relieve at all. I've talk to people at college in the region of it and they weren't any help any. I don't know how to pick one. I don't feel enormously passionate in the region of anything and that bothers me. I could just catch whatever career was available at the time but I would close to to have some sort of aim. Please help! What would/did you do?

I deduce it's nice that you're studying something you like surrounded by college. For so many inhabitants, college is a vocational school. It's great that you're following your zeal. So enjoy your time within school. As far as a art, you're pretty much screwed with an English degreee. But merely because you're getting a degree contained by English doesn't mean you enjoy to publicize that that's what your degree is contained by. I'd look for a small company doing something you think is cool and run by ancestors you like. In big companies, you'll swot to suck up and play the company game, but it's a pretty deserted existence. In smaller companies, you'll actually enjoy a chance to build a difference and you'll learn to do abundantly of different things. Make mistakes, learn stuff, be nice to society. Otherwise you'll wind up as an organization drone, bored teacher schooling even more bored students or corporate attorney which might be the most boring thing of adjectives. Also dial down the feeling that you necessitate to feel committed about working. Maybe 1% of citizens do something that's worthwhile (doctor in Rwanda, microloan coordinator within Tamil Nadu). The rest of us are just doing crap that anyone beside a 3 digit IQ could do. Don't look for meaning exclusively surrounded by your job. Develop and cultivate outside interests. Otherwise, you'll get up up when you're 50 and wonder where adjectives the time went. Good luck.

Just label up your mind that you will have to adopt a job that dosent stipulation your qualification as most graduates do . you only just been pushed through the bottleneck system of not putting to many relatives onm the job flea market at once before otheres retire or die

I studied English Lit. surrounded by college, and I fully understand your dilemma. I tried it adjectives. I worked at a law firm, a word agency, and I will graduate soon with a Master's within Education, English as a Second Language. Education is not a bad place to be, but my wife make a lot more money within the business world. You might look into advertising. Of course, I don't miserable those junk ad that come in the post. There are law firms that consult selling agencies to help them design brochures and things for their main projects. Anyway, you're asking the right kind of question. I wish you luck.

Depends on why you're asking. To receive benefits, 30+/wk is often the threshhold. Different States will hold different standards for different purposes.

Depends on the state. Some consider full time to be 32-40 hours, some singular consider 38-40 hours. Like I said, it depends on the state and, in some cases, the company.
I conjecture here in georgia anything over 32 hours is considered full time unless you are hired as a section time worker. At a local grocery store here part time workers relatively often gain 40 hours but the store will not "guarantee" them 40 hours or put them to "full time" because then they are eligible for insurance, rewarded vacations, ect.
Some job that are full time say 37.5/week (1/2 hr lunch 5 days a week)
It can be smaller number - especially if you are in a Union environment.
I used to know someone who be "Full-Time" but only worked 36 hours a week.
Otherwise, it depends. Some companies propose benefits & etc on a sliding scale - depending on expected average hours.
