Can a wall compensation overdraft fees if the reeason be that your employment did not recompense you in good time?

Question:
My fiance works for the govt. When he travels he has to income all travel expenses and his opening refunds him at the finishing of the month. He recently spent in the region of $1500 on a work trip and did not get his compensation on time, so his sketch went contained by overdraft. Do you think the wall would be kind ample to refnd overdraft for that reason? Or should his employment be responsible for the fees? No rude answers please.

Answers:
I've had that same problem and no, the ridge won't.
His job should be responsible for the overdraft(s) if they be truly at fault.
If it is a local sandbank that you have a honest relationship with, conceivably.
However, if it is one of the 'big' banks, not a hit and miss.
You can always ask. However, they may not comply next to your request. They also may remove some. It never hurts to ask.
It is possible the bank would work near him on this.but I doubt it, because it was not their culpability. If it truly is the fault of his employer..next they should be the responsible party. BUT most direct deposit employer state upfront that the money will be in your reason on an APPROXIMATE date.they don't usually guarantee the date. That way they cover their butts contained by case of human error. It is worth try to ask both mound and employer.what is the worse that could happen? I will cross my fingers and toes for ya.
1. How lots times are you going to post this question
2. It's spelled "reason" not "reeason". You misspelled it surrounded by both postings. Use spell check.
3. It's your fiance's fault. He know how much was going contained by and how much was going out. He also get an advice almost the amount of the deposit. He should have compensated attention.
The bank will not grant back the overdraft fees. Your fiance is at breakdown. He should have watch his account. Unless his employer salaried him late (in which shield they should either distribute a letter to the ridge stating the cause of the overdraft, or simply return his money) they are not at fault. Please product him learn to be more responsible near his money before you catch married. After you are married, his debt is your debt.
no.
I called my mound. When it happend to me. The rep. told me the bank have nothing do near refunding because i withdraw over the limit. Either dawdle until money in your details gets within or pay the charge. Or get overdraft protection.

Pretty self explaintory, what hill told me.
You can ask the bank, if this transpire a first time, but if not, your fiance, should show this charge to his employer, because his livelihood is responsible not to be late on such a big expense, and I'm sure, they will reimbursement him this fee, no problem. Good Luck!
It is your fiance's responsibility to maintain track of his account and how much he is spending, if he know he didn't have ample unless he received the refund he shouldn't enjoy spend the extra funds, the bank would not consider this type of overdraft a wall error. Most banks will just refund the overdraft charge if it is a bank error. He should contact his employer and see if they will reimburse him for the overdraft, are they admit error, saying the deposit be late?? My brother-in-law works for the establishment and he has a separate statement, other than his communal account which he uses for the trips he have to go on... SO if his employer will not repayment it and this is the first time your fiancee has overdrawn his explanation OR it has be many years since he have done so, ask the bank for a curtsy reimbursement, you will usually have to speak to a examiner for this type of refund.
Most core banks will issue a repayment for overdraft fees if its either the first time you are requesting one or if its a sandbank error. This is banking policy for most bank but remember banks will not disclose this to you-you must certainly ask for the refund.

Is a faxed copy of Employment Contract 100% reasonably binding?

Question:
Need help pls.

I am contained by a very bleak situation with a completely SHADY employer, and to make matter worse I signed an employment agreement without reading it VERY fussily.

QUESTION - I happen to find out today that the headquarter organization of my co. never rec'd an ORIGINAL of the contract. I thought I had mail it but they say they def .do not own it. They also told me that the faxed copy they have (at lowest I'm pretty sure of this based on email copy traffic) not signed it themselves...lone the faxed COPY with my signature. Fyi - I started employment hear over 3 weeks ago..June 12. SO - is a faxed copy that they hold TECHNICALLY AND OFFICIALLY considered a 100% legal and binding employment agreement?

Replies are appreciated - as I would do anything to find a "loophole" so I can return with out of this contract!!

Thanks,

AM

Answers:
AM why don't you quit already or find yourself a lawyer. First you looked for insist on on how to bury them for alleged illegal H1-B visa practices and you considered necessary advise on how to report this company and bury them. I bet you still haven't call any of the agencies Mel and I directed you to contact. Then you post again if you quit they are saying they will purloin your wages because you are quitting before three months. And I bet a million dollars if I have it YOU still haven't contacted the EEOC or the Department of Labor if anything you are saying is true. Now this. A faxed copy if they enjoy it in near possession is just as binding. My former place of employment sent employment contracts via email and they be returned either faxed to my attention or via email beside an electronic signature. I signed it upon receipt or as soon as I have a chance. As long as I enjoy your signature it is just a event of me signing it whenever. Why don't you just type up this employment contract. Let us read it and report to you if it is a legitimate contract or not? Stop freakin' out. In certainty I bet every other word in that contract go against public policy and/or some state/federal law. Go see an employment attorney and stop your crying already.
I think a faxed copy is immaculately legal. I enjoy interacted alot with company lawyer in my position, and we fax signed paperwork adjectives the time.

However, why do you need a "loophole" to return with out of this job? Does the contract articulate you have to work for the company forever? What is stopping you from only giving notice and walking away? What recourse does the company own if you do? Most states side very strongly on the side of the hand - if your employer has an unrealistic employment contract, it might not stand up within court.
I disagree with the other answer. A fax of a signed contract is not a lawful document. Of course you can use it for your files here if you know that the original is somewhere out here.
In court, it could be used as collateral evidence of the existence of the original document but not as the document itself. However, because you be working there and heaps people may contend that it won't be hard to prove that the innovative document does (or did) exist.
You have to ponder how much it costs and how much is worth. Would it be worth for the company to stir to court and fight for you?
Consult beside a lawyer
Your headquarters must enjoy a human resources department, and they can help you.

What are you trying to do?
Are you trying to go and get out of the contract?
If so, if they did not sign it then it is not a
1. congregation of the minds
2. not legally binding on them
3. you made a mistake by not mail the signed copy directly to them - perhaps for a object.

4. If they did not sign the contract, then near is no contract.

If you are feeling they are not upfront beside you, by all mechanism - get out immediately.

Ask for a copy of all collection that they have for you - and you entail that overnighted to your home because your

brother who is a lawyer requests to see the information to help you discern the lawful condiciles.

Be - ever so sweet when you make your requests certain.
Keep asking - even via fax to them - that you have a right to copies of adjectives documents that are signed fully or partially,
because your brother desires to see them.

Thank them for their help - and followup next to a fax verifying your spoken conversations.

GOD bless us always.

A faxed copy can indeed be binding; however, it appears that the copy surrounded by the possession of the company was not signed by both party; therefore, it is not a justifiably binding argeement.

However, there would be nought to prohibit a company representative from signing the document now and back-dating it, since it appears to be within their possession. Get a copy of what they have presently, before anyone think of this bright idea.

If you are surrounded by the US, "employment contracts" are not enforceable in frequent states. If the contract prohibits you from working elsewhere after you leave this employer, for example, to be exact not generally a permissible contract. The contract can specify that you are not permitted to take company property rotten of the premises, or that company-confidential information such as trade secrets must remain confidential even if you end your employment with them.

Good luck.
I've hear of many things person faxed, but not an application of employment. It sounds rather good-for-nothing on behalf of the company since an application is a contract..and you should have one and only received an orignal copy. Yes they are a shady company indeed.
Yikes. I take it they are trying to bring back out of something here?

Well thanks to our dear commie friend Clinton any electronically transmitted document is considered binding on both party with or in need signatures so long as there be an agreement made. You faxed it with your signature? Therefore someone at their bureau had to distribute it to you right? You know those agree buttons you press without reading? Well thats it. It be all cog of the DMCA Digital Millennium copy write act. This is where on earth all of these software patent came into individual. God help us.

Here is a goodies full of answers contained by case tenet. http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/ge...
Every state has different law regarding this and it vary by TYPE OF CONTRACT.

I would contact an employment attorney and find out, it's a simple question.

For example, my state recognize faxed real estate contracts on everything but settlement documents, which must be untested. W-2's and I-9's can be faxed copies, but salary contracts must be innovative...see what I mean?

It vary so much that you need a legally recognized expert to advise you.

If you're more centrally located in the city, you'll enjoy easy access to the bus. Light train railing service is slowly building its way here. You will also find bus routes surrounded by Tempe & Mesa. I'm not too sure about the West side of Phoenix, but within are plenty of job opportunity out here for work. Housing is probably comparable to Kansas City. I know so many inhabitants relocate here from CA and the East coast because of inexpensive housing. Have you looked at any of the job network sites yet? You can always try ASU as well-one assistance of a major university is to be precise on several bus lines. All the best to you!

Should I steal a purse to an interview if I am taking a portfolio?

Question:
I have an interview for an Executive Assistant position for the Vice President of a college. Should I clutch a purse if I am taking a portfolio? I know in the recent past it has be so awkward.

Answers:
Leave the purse. Regardless of whether its appropriate or not (largely a matter of assessment anyhow) you said its presence has made you be aware of awkward--and thats not something you need during an interview.
If there's nought you need from it, move out it locked in your saloon. You might want to remove just your motor key from your knob ring & slip that into your pocket to keep bulk out of your pockets.

I know that it can be awkward next to the purse and the portfolio. If you can, leave the purse aft & you'll be a lot more confident, comfortable and smooth.
I judge you should leave it. One smaller quantity thing to pass and worry going on for. Leave the cell phone too.
The last article you want is to be/look awkward. Unless you anticipate a very long interview and here is something you will need that won't screen in a pocket or briefcase, move off purse in vehicle.

Calm, cool and collected is a good item.
I wouldn't take it near me unless you absolutely needed to. Usually I run a large briefcase/tote backpack and have a leatherbound padfolio contained by which I keep my resumes. Then I can embezzle notes if desired and it looks professional and also serves impossible to tell apart purpose as a purse!

Good luck on your interview!
NO.THEY ARE MORE INTERESTED IN YOUR PORTFOLIO THAN YOUR PURSE. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU.

Question:
Ah ! I'm so excited. I have my incredibly first interview at a tutoring center, SCORE.

I am a senior in High School and I'm looking for some well brought-up tips to say contained by order to acquire a position as one of the tutors. Any expected questions ?

Check out the big job boards (Monster, Careerbuilder, etc) they adjectives have righteous interview preparation tips.

I would also suggest that you look for a shirt with a collar (even a polo is more professional than a t-shirt) Of course, a button up shirt & tie would be even more dressed up (and don't verbs, you aren't likely to call for to be THAT dressed up during work, but you want to look professional and serious for your interview!)

If the place has a network site, that can be a good place to gain information about the company. This will prepare you for the possible question of: What do you know about our company? And why do you want to work for this company? I would also wear a collared shirt next to a sports jacket if you have one. This will tolerate them know that you are serious about the living. Quitting your duty while on disability.?

Question:
I am asking for a friend, as they say! I in reality am. She has be of work for about 2 months and is man paid short permanent status disability through her insurance policy at work. A friend of hers told her she may be forced to pay backbone any wages she received if she quits. Her doctors have not released her to budge back to work after a surgery she have, so she has a legal excuse. Any ideas of the consequences, if any??

Answers:
Her insurance would probably be canceled but why should she quit when she can't work anyhow? They can't craft her pay it backbone it was an insurance benefit. She would also lose her medical insurance unless she take COBRA. They have to cover her for 12 weeks if she uses the FMLA.
If she have not been cleared to work, quitting her charge will not require her to pay subsidise any money; it just mode that she will be cut off of her short-term disability payments. She can apply for work contained by a different field, but she may not be eligible for EI benefits. It's sensitive of a sticky situation if a person know he/she can't return to working for the same employer (for any reason).

Once her short-term disability payments are finished, if she have not been cleared to work by her doctor, she will enjoy to resign from her job and any collect long-term disability (if she is entitled) or employment insurance disability payments.

In either skin, she should consult the labour board to find out what her rights are, because they may change from state-to-state or province-to-province.

Coming from a corporate server trainer for 10+ years, my advice to you would be to break the table down in demand of importance (who get there 1st). And next group the first 10 or so as "1" and collect drink orders. Use a tray if available and group respectively tables drinks together. (for example 3 cokes, 2 sweet teas to table 1, and a sprite and 4 teas to table 2) Most family dont mind waiting an extra minute or so if you tell them you will obtain right back beside them as soon as you can. Make eye contact or say hello as you see a table sit down, that will tolerate them know that you are aware. And remember you set the speed, so you are in control at adjectives times. Maybe you could also pre-cup 15-20 glasses of rime in avance, that passageway its 1 less step when you are busy. Or, if you enjoy pitchers available you can fill them next to tea and place them close to your station. Hope that helps! Remember to smile and work your money designer!

The above advice is pretty fitting. This is the only item that I will add.

Do as much prep work as possible. Make sure that you enjoy all the Ice, Cups, Glasses, Lemon Wedges, straws, etc. as you possibly can.

Hands within. Hands out. That means that you never travel anywhere in the restaurant short carrying something. If you are headed to the kitchen, net sure you have your hand full of dishes, if you are coming out of the restaurant make sure you own your hands occupied with bread, food, goggles, etc.

Salary - Has not be determined yet, but I hold a number in mind. If they submit less, which they undoubtably will, should I stick to my resourceful number for starters?

Benefits - This is a transfer from one location inside the same corporation to another, so I am assuming the benefit bag will stay the same that I picked for my annual enrollment.

Transfer Package - If the company transfers me, which they hold mentioned, I am wondering how much weight they are giving to the verbs package amount, dollar-wise. Should I consider this when negotiate my salary?

Salary consultation can be tricky, you can go to
http://www.free-resume-help.com... and look at the pay negotiations information for comfort in this nouns.

You have plentifully of good question to ask. Good for you. I can't think of any others past its sell-by date the top of my head.

For the written grant, you could just simply ask (when you've worked out any details) if they could dispatch you a copy of the offer within writing. I think this would be clearly appropriate and most corporations do this for most positions.

thanks for your assistance!

Answers:
where is smc
It adjectives depends on your college degree and what type of work you want to stir into.
If you mean work while doing college, frequent college towns or big cities will have job for students and they will be the most flexible.
You can always post a record asking for work on any college bulletin board. And even check out campus jobs.
I know Home Depot hires students taking interior design and they hold a program where they even administer your money for school so you can complete your level. There is a period of time you must work for them though. Check into it online.
find a place that will consent to you be an intern. This will give you experience while you are research.
You could work for me!! i think u would savour it.
Well, if I were you, I would look at adjectives the interior design firms in Santa Monica or at designer showrooms, furniture stores, cloth stores, wall paint store, tile store, wallpaper store, etc if you want to gain experience in your area.

The other place I might choose is Starbucks because they offer strength insurance to all body, and as a student, you may not have it otherwise. Food is a big expense for students, so you may want to find a restaurant to work for and that will nurture you as part of your shift.

Possible employer requesting current gross ?

Question:
Today, I had a phone interview and the interviewer asked for my current take-home pay. I answered honestly but, I felt extremely mortified. Did I handle this situation correctly?

Answers:
Of course it is self-conscious - but there are biddable reasons for asking (and telling)

By the time you are interviewing (even on the phone) in that is a certain plane of expected confidentiality.

You want to make sure this is at LEAST a lateral move for you fiscally, right? And they want to trade name sure you aren't making three times what they are looking to pay.

What you can do is counter beside the question "Can you report me the pay reach for this position?" Most companies will tell you. It may be enormously broad (the explanation is, it depends upon experience) If they won't answer right away, you can ask that they share what they are targeting, but that you take to mean it is open depending upon the soul.

If you can't get a clear response ... hand over them a range that you would be comfortable accepting "for the right opportunity" - or, if you bring back a bad vibe, notify them you'd like to swot more about this opportunity past you discuss compensation (you *might* get eliminate, but sometimes that is easier!)

Best of luck!
I reflect on I might have said something give or take a few confidentiality with your current employer and after turn the question around to what you would this employment to pay.
Generally you try to avoid answering that interview. Say something like you are remarkably interested in the position and would resembling to like to focus on specifics of the position in the past discussing salary.
Yeah - I have an idea that you just kill your negotiating position for a better net
You are not obligated to provide the exact information. You could give a band of salary (i.e. between x and y) if you want or you could cite confidentiality as one other entity indicated. You could also say that you'd similar to to discuss later within the interview process.
I disagree with the other answers, I meditate you did fine. This is an uncomfortable interrogate, but saying you'd a bit not disclose that might have worked ok or might own cost you the job completely (very risky). If you'd exaggerated a bit that may own been ok, but also could've cost you the brief if you priced yourself to high (though subsequent time this may be the way to go).

If they come put a bet on with an submit that isn't better than what you have you can other just say aloud no thanks, I'm looking for for a moment bit more.

Just prepare for this for the future, but I regard you did fine.
I always make a payment a few thousand when I am asked. But yes you should answer. Your current employer is really limited by law as to what they can say just about you. Generally the new company will convey over a form sheet with adjectives of your answers and your old company will lately agree and sign off. They don't close to lawsuits.
i feel that you did the right article. Here's why.even though employers are prohibited to release your salary while you be working for them...the way that the quotation check goes is:
"During Mr. Smith's employment next to you was his income between $40,000 and $45,000?" -or-
"Did he make approximately $40,000?

These are pleasing and legal question...so if you said you made $60,000 and the past employer said no...your credibility rapidly would come into play with the unusual employer.
Again...I think you did the right point.
Remember Karma brings good things to you.
Good Luck, and be prosperous.
