Answers:
Look up The Chicago Pizza Pie Factory. It is right off of the Champs-'Elysees. It is an English speaking restaurant and tavern.
Karen H - WTF question be you answering? Idiot!
Dont bartend. Good bartenders only tend their hotel and never talk to their customers for any length of time. A polite tender of bar wishes his bar full, or hers, of jubilant guests talking to respectively other so his bar is fun and he or she make money.
darling...walk very vigilant when responding to anybody...asking this sort of question can be completely unsafe for you ...dont arrange to meet anybody when you bring there..unless it is an authorised agency...and describe your parents about any contact made!!
Getting B.A surrounded by Psych, but wishes to run into nursing, HELP?
Question:
I want to become a Medical Social Worker, I am currently enrolled to achieve my Bachelors in Psychology after obtain two years worth of basic credits, and possibly, next on going to a M.S in Social Work. However I am aware that several RN’s do basically one and the same thing and own a very rewarding mission. I wouldn’t mind being a nurse, RN, but I enjoy no training. I have be told with continuing college I can bypass becoming a C.N.A(which I wouldn’t mind doing) but I am looking for the FASTEST route into the human services field near benefits and going to school for so long doesn’t entice me. PLEASE HELP! gratitude! God bless!
Answers:
Sounds like you are a bit confused contained by what you want to major within. I am a LPN which is only a year course, consequently you take a state exam to be licensed. I in a minute have a Bachelor's Degree contained by Healthcare Management and just get a job grant yesterday for a nursing management position. It is entry rank but still making more money than as a floor nurse. My goal is to finish my RN subsequent year so with my bachelor's amount and experience, I can open even more doors of opportunity. My proposal, take the LPN program if you want to progress into nursing. You can then work as a LPN towards finishing your amount and make clothed money. Don't settle for being a CNA, you are looking at $8-$9.00 per hour on average. Good luck.
Talk to your advisor.
To be a medical social worker you don't inevitability an RN. You do need your MSW. RN's and Social workers don't do one and the same things. The only similarity you will find is contained by the area of covering management and some discharge planning. However, this is not adjectives a medical social worker does (especially in larger tutoring hospitals that really understand social work and enjoy MSW rather than BSW horizontal social workers. Given that you have already gotten into a 4 yr college you may wish to finish your BA and afterwards go straight into an MSW program. To increase the opening of this happening. 1) do okay academically and 2) do a lot of volunteer work and/or service study. If your school have a BSW you can save a year by taking that primary and then applying for advanced standing contained by an MSW program. DA

What are some things you wonder give or take a few the restaurant you apply at?
Question:
As wait staff concerns, fears, things to look for, to avoid?
Answers:
I would be concerned just about their staffing needs (i.e. if you are low man on the totem pole, are you feasible to be scheduled for shifts and after be asked to go home if at hand are no customers)
I would never apply where I haven't eat -- so I have a nonspecific idea of the business characteristic. I would look for a place where dally staff will assist other tables -- it medium they all know that if they aren't competent to meet a customer request than someone else will -- and they will hold to do the same. It provides the customers next to best quality service and will promote better tips even when you own a real difficult table.
Paid Surveys?
Question:
I asked a question around what sites are good for doing payed surveys, because I hold to spend alot of time at home and I'm broke :( I got loads of useless sites, that contribute prise draws and points, but thanx any way.
Does any one know some sights for doing surveys online that salary through paypal? Please :)
Answers:
If you're broke, surveys are not going to help you -- don't put too much hope that you will in actual fact earn money from surveys
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to income before you can get hold of these surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research conscript members base on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will convey surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays solely $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich beside that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys within a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything a moment ago the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

the best survey sites I use pay via check surrounded by the mail (and I've gotten rewarded a lot this way).
www.mysurvey.com
www.surveyspot.com
www.epoll.com (they administer u gift cards instead)
I'm signed up for one that does remuneration via paypal but its usually a lot smaller number than the above sites payout. I forget the name of the final one too. The top 3 are the best in my view. I've probably gotten over 200$ from surveyspot, and at least 50+ from mysurvey.
The plea why it is hard to do the survey point is because usually they want you to use their products at that end or they compensate something like $2. Wouldn't you want a work from home opportunity where on earth you could actually generate a living doin it? Most people don't consider it because it may cost some money up front. When you conjecture about it though, what is more advisable, your time or your money? Something to think going on for.
I am not sure if any of these work either..
Maybe adjectives a scam, just becarefull next to it..

Thief steals money from me at work, boss fires me, wishes me to discharge money put money on. Is this right?!?
Question:
A quick alteration artist got $400 from me at work. I be fired and now they want me to compensate the money back. I never took it! I be robbed! Can they do this? Is this legal?
Answers:
Seems to me they made a mistake surrounded by firing you if they really thought they were ever going to see the money.
Of course they *want* the money. Doesn't be a sign of they're going to get it! Now if they be holding your job over your guide, then and simply then would you own a serious decision to breed. But in this grip, I would never pay it.
I outstandingly doubt they will go to the trouble of allowed action to collect. That would cost time and money. They're probably freshly hoping you'll pay.
As for the adjectives job referrence, I doubt they would enjoy given you a good one any way. Furthermore, it's dishonest for them to tell inquiring employer any details other than verify employment and pay rate.
My proposal is to move on and not salary.
Were you responsible for the money?
If there be collusion between you and the quick-change artist, yes, they can get it from you.
If you be merely careless or incompetent, no, they can't obtain it.
It's legal for them to ask for it, though.
Hmmm. Do you suppose your subsequent employer will want to check your employment history? Do you suppose they think you will remuneration up, in directive to avoid a bad hint?
it depends if you were responsible.
if you werent afterwards they have no prove you stole it
People craft mistakes while doing their job. No, I don't surmise they should make you repay for it. It was an honest mistake. That's section of the risk of being within business. Get an opinion from the Labor Office contained by writing and ask them to intervene in your behalf. You will call for this when you start looking for another job.
Peace and blessings!
It depends on what your career is and what your responsibilities are according to your contract. For example, in some bank that I know, cashiers get an extra bonus, exactly because if money is missing at the extremity of the day they will enjoy to pay up by themselves. Do you own cameras? You could find the guy on the camera and prove what he did. and call the police and sue him. Otherwise, your employer may support that you took th emoney, and afterwards it will be a case for the court to examine. I believe you, because you have no reason to come to lie back here on Y!Answers, but you need proof.
If you be responsible for managing the cash drawer, you are responsible for the money within most cases. However, I'm not sure how your employer plans to obtain these funds from you since they enjoy terminated your employment. They can't withhold it from your check; $400.00 is too small of an amount to press felony theft charges; their simply real substitute would be small claims court and it's doubtful whether or not they would pursue that option.
I'd simply let somebody know them you don't have the funds to repay them, and stop taking their call. If they prosecute, you can deal near it at that point - I really doubt they will pursue it.
Good luck.

Gaps surrounded by Resume?
Question:
How do I expain the gaps on my resume? In June 2004, I be laid off from my HR available job. I found out a few weeks later that I be pregnant. I didn't work throughout my entire pregnancy and when my daughter was born, I fixed to be a stay-at-home mom. I re-joined the workforce in January 2006 but just worked until April 2006 when my husband got promoted and we relocated. Now, I am wanting to work again (I miss it). How do I possibly explain such long gap in my work history? I would to some extent not mention to my potential employer that I have a small child-afraid it would hurt my likelihood.
Answers:
Ah yes, i had this problem, on benefit because of health, it be very knotty to explain.
As a mother of a small child, you don't want an employer who is going to discriminate against you, you want one who will be understanding.
On your resume, put your schooling and experience first, in reverse chronological instruct (latest first) Put alot of emphasis on your work experience, showing you know/can work, regardless of how your go has changed.
At the extension of your resume, create an extra section book hobbies/interest, then freshly mention Stay at home Mom (from this date to this date), just label it a casual certainty.
Just to let you know, it is bent for an employer to discriminate based on nouns.
Honesty is the best policy.
Don't you think that have a kid would be something that would come up once your hired? Like if your baby's sick and you need to stir home or something? It's best to be honest up front.
I would stick with honesty. They'll see it as that you are experienced, but hold already taken that break from worklife to start a family. Plus near your family, they'll see you as self more dedicated to your opportunity for the long-term. You don't have to travel into painful detail, but I would endow with them a rundown of your history from the start of your career till presently. People understand energy happens, especially if you're pointing out that the big things own occured and you're not looking to make them again anytime soon.
And honestly, if they want not to take you for the chore just because you hold a child and family, did you really wanna work for a company similar to that anyway?
What types of job are within that one can do from home?
Question:
I want to leave my present profession and retrain within something to do from home. I am considering doing a book-keeping course or a professional proof reading course. Is there a constraint for these type of jobs to do from home? What other job are there for one to do from home or to be self-employed?
Answers:
My daughter set up what become a very successful Pet Care Agency, which she did alongside a rewarded part-time situation to start.
She began near Pet Care at Home where she took contained by small animals while owners were on holiday (caged birds, gerbils hamsters, bunnies, etc) and did dog-walking - collecting Fido from homes of disabled and elderly general public and taking them out. Thus building references. She built up a clientele of regular clients who needed someone to nurture cats and do litter trays, feed and hose down the budgie, etc. while they were away.
She took on other Pet Visitors who be self-employed (so they sorted their own tax and insurance) but she charged a Booking Fee so that eventually she mostly stayed at home and arranged for other individuals to do the out work. She looked after the advertising and have a web site. Among her staff she have a couple of Vet nurses who were competent to give injections and other medication but not able to work full time due to ancestral commitments. She sold her Agency for a 4-figure sum when she emigrated.

There are a ton of work from home opportunity out there. The knob is to find the best. I would suggest you look in to one that give you great training, is publically traded, has a dutiful compensation plan, and has be in business for a while. Question:
I am a restaurant manager and I enjoy been contained by the business for about 8 years. I spawn OK money ($47,000) but I am getting burnt out and I mull over I would be great at sales. Would I be capable of make comparable money surrounded by the first year?
Answers:
Yes, you can make comparable money. However, you requirement to be certain this is what you want to do. Car sale can be a tough industry. Be prepared to work long hours and to deal beside lots of rejection.
If you can overcome these obstacles, this may be your spanking new career pedestrian area. Good luck!
Depending on Which dealership you choose. Luxury cars get you difficult commission but you have to work harder to provide them. Used cars are the best source of income there is no contain on how much you increase the price. If you like to vend and you are good contained by making people grain guilty for wasting your time you can make accurate money. Also Dealership puts a lot of pressure on sale people to supply cars. Do it as a part time and see if you close to it.
you could, I make roughly $45,000 to $ 60,000 a year... some are better later others. I work with the Top Chevrolet salemens within the country and he does roughly $450,000... so there is money to be made

I suppose they have over 22,000 card holders so far and the business is legal and the company has agreements and is approved to sell them. They hold been contained by business for over 15 years and its really easy to do.
The investment is subsequent to nothing. We started next to a computer, internet, and a really cool lady who help us when we need it.

Why is it so difficult for a 52 year ripened woman to cash art.?
Question:
I'm 52 and female beside excellent people skills developed over 20 years surrounded by Event Management. Why then am I finding it so difficult to find a unknown job. Are women over 45 unemployable surrounded by any other sector other than diligence or retail and is a young obverse more important than fantastic skills and solid experience.
Answers:
I know within can be a gap between what legislation say, and what it means for empire on the ground - but it might be of some comfort to know that since the inception of the The Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 (1 October 2006) - it is illegal to discriminate against family on the grounds of age, and job applications should be done on a completely skills / suitability cause.
There is naturally a wad in getting this through to employer, but indications from a variety of trade magazine (particular the HR ones) are that employers are increasingly taking this on the train.
In theory, and so, there is nil different between you and younger or older applicants (up to the age of 65!).
However! That isn't to speak there is nil you can do. If you are finding you have be rejected from places, seek feedback and ask specifically what be lacking within your application. Whilst people skills are historic, depending on what field you are going into in that is a lot more an employer would be looking for. Is it possible you call for some specific qualification? IT skills? Sales skills? (these are all guesess as I don't know which nouns you want to move into!).
seems that opening yes im in my 40s and have enough so im going to college to train to be a plumber/electrician/brickie
theres more to go than asda checkouts for me.....hopefully
It's not that you're a woman. Men over the age of 45 find it hard to procure a new situation, too.
Young people unanimously have abundantly more energy, and what's more, they're cheap. It's one and only the intelligent businessman - and there are damned few of them - who realize how valuable it is to enjoy employees who can embezzle charge and follow through to get a assignment completed, on time, next to little wasted challenge.
Most companies don't want to employ somebody explicitly not going to give a long service. As you are elder you are going to more prone to sickness, and therefore not at work as much as somebody who's younger. I'm not adage that every 52 year old is unwholesome but statistically I make this statement. It's a shame that companies don't apply people near a wealth of experience. I'm not in attendance yet but I will utter this, if I am ever in your situation I would try to do my best to any become self-employed or start my own business. Good Luck anyways.
You're considered old within the working world, that's why. Older citizens tend to ask for more pay because they ruminate their skills and experience are of more value. You can't revise as fast as the younger contemporaries and might get sick glibly.
Put yourself into the shoes of an employer, would you recruit a young at heart, energetic fast-leaner or a elder, less rowdy worker who asks for more pay?
I am 41 and also wanting to alter careers - out of lessons. I have applied for a few admin job but have be unsuccessful. I know that I will have to retrain contained by something but also don't want my 4 year degree to 'go to waste'. Also, by the time I enjoy retrained in something worthwhile I will be contained by my late 40's and starting at the bottom of the stepladder. I know that it is now or never. It is a 'reinventing' of yourself: not assured but certainly not impossible. I consistency for you. Don't give up!! I wont.
am within the same boat own 38 years work behind me and find it knotty finding something new but the thought of spending another 12 years at matching job is of late not on so need something different immediately
wish i know, im 32 and aparently over the hill for a tentative career too...
I am so sorry that you are finding it difficult to find another profession. To answer your question, permit me tell you around what happened at my workplace. A commission was advertise for a position within the bureau. There were some general public that got interviewed. There be one lady I really like, I thought she could do an excellent job. The 'problem' be that she was 52 years infirm. I told my boss that we should really hire her because she would be the best but my boss said that he wanted a nice immature girl who's very pretty! I thought to myself that this is not on and be really angry. Anyways, he hired this 21-year old girl who's be making a constant pig's ear out of things in the organization. Her mistakes are then one corrected by another colleague, a 53-year old woman who is very professional, excellent and get good eye for detail. So much for human being young, animated, fit, healthy and fitting.. I can only hope that you find yourself the most suitable position contained by a nice company where they are not such biggotted idiots. You no problem do deserve it.

Why would someone give up a successful business they started to re-enter Corporate world as hand?
Question:
Wife just have baby, would approaching her to have way out of not working. My company is doing OK, but it is time to re-enter the workforce for more indemnity now the newborn is here. Any advice on how best to convey that surrounded by job scour without have it appear that the business I created has has-been? Again the business is doing ok and has not former. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Answers:
Exactly what you said is fine.
I would also market the business, IMO part of human being a business owner is always knowing what your business is worth and at what price you would deal in it for. There is nothing wrong next to saying to a potential employer that you owned a successful business and when the right hold out came along you sold it.
exactly what you said is flawless..wife just have a baby-want her to be stay at home mom-time to re-enter workforce for more security presently that you have a household.
I, as a hr rep...totally get that. you don't even call for to discuss the success or failure of your business
Good luck
I'd mention that it was the 100 hour weeks of work that's convincing you to step back. Tell them your wife have a child and that, while you don't mind extra work, you don't want to have to be on 24/7 approaching a business owner.
Well, it depends on what kind of profession you're looking for. For most self-employed folks, they decide to travel back to Corporate America because, while they possess systematic expertise and and knoweldge of their product, their marketing basically sucks and they are dismayed by the amount of time they enjoy to spend marketing. Explaining that you would rather spend your time busy in "X" instead of the day-to-day marketing of "X" might be an way out -- of course, this won't work if you ARE a marketing professional!
Also, you could newly infer that you are in conference with a company that requests to acquire your company and you are investigating other options, since you aren't sure you want to run through a start-up again with a youthful family.

Leave out the tea bit, Mention that you would start the day congratulating them on the previous days achievments emphasising the squad effort. If in that are specific goals for that hours of daylight mention how you would ask your team if here were any question relating to these tasks and react properly.
Take out "at all times" it comes across that you are resting on them all the time, possibly re-word along the lines, I provide the (not my)team. with the opportunity to approach me near any issues at any time as well as monitoring progress one-sidedly during the day..!
Free tip: Two words you should never use surrounded by a team shot, ME & I. it is always We.
sounds appropriate to me, but it depends on where you are going for a errand.
I would give you 7 out of 10 for that
i reflect thats really good, economically done!
I think to be precise great, but I would also mention something about goal. Making sure your team is aware that they are reaching their goal is a big help. That make me feel resembling I have consummate something.
perhaps mention something more or less how you motivate your team?? Just throwin out a suggestion.
I deduce it is fine as it is. The light trick at the end is a nice touch.
I would mention something around mentoring and also something about how you motivate your squad to brainstorm and creativity. Getting them to get their assignment done and getting them to really succeed are two different things. Companies like to see someone that's unswerving to helping employees grow as powerfully as get their work done.
I similar to it. well done.
