It is deferred to start looking for a summer job. Most of the devout ones are taken. Remember, the early bird get the worm.

Look at the local chain supermarket. My daughter's first commission was at Publix. Supermarkets provide a locked, comfortable work environment and the job can walk into the school year. They are usually flexible going on for working around student schedules.

If you want a situation that is summer solitary, I would check at the local swimming pool. My guess is that the jobs own been chock-a-block, but someone may have quit and a slowly opening may be available.
You should travel to every store and ask if they're hiring. A lot of places where I live are hiring and that's what I've be doing. Some places might have a hiring sign.If you hold applying ,you'll eventually get a summer undertaking.

work at Publix
check at a golf course, caddie, golf club cleaner, cart staff, etc
You could step dogs, babysit, house sit for neighbors, or do errands for people you know. I would massacre to have someone do my grocery shopping and would probably discharge someone $25 to do it. It might take 2 hours out of your afternoon! Make some flyers and pass them around to your neighbors, friends, parent's friends etc etc.
Grocery stores are the best place, but check your local the Fourth Estate or free classifieds and I would bet you will see jobs for 15 year olds. Use the Yellow Pages and the phone and name to see if they have any opening. Sometimes, if you have a prepared person to drive you around, going in-person (dressed so you look close to a responsible 15 year old someone would want to hire) and asking to speak to the owner, regulator or person surrounded by charge of hiring is wiser. They can size you up, you can size the job and them up, and if it works, you can flood out your form right then and within.

I have see 15-16 year olds filling out forms at my grocery plentiful times in the manager's organization. Chances are good if you can be reliable and in good time, you will be hired and kept on, as long as you continue to do what they ask and are friendly and polite to your bosses and the customers.
My 15-year-old daughter took the Red Cross go guard classes and is a life guard at the local pool. She is remunerated $6.25 an hour and works about 5 hours a morning. She also gives swim course and lifeguards for private parties.
There are enormously limited job for 15 year olds. In most states you can only work for a few hours a light of day and not after like 7 or 8 pm. I recommend babysitting, you acquire paid underneath the table and hours are not limited.

Also Restaurants that do no serve alcohol will permit you be a hostess or a busser. A Busser would make more money because you bring an hourly wage plus tips.

You can also offer to do work for your neighbours. Create a obligation list beside your rate per task and deliver it to anyone you'd similar to to work for. Elderly neighbours will hire you.

What would you do if your Employer depends on you too much, all the same take you for granted at equal time?

Question:
You need the wages but, are frusterated that your Employer depends on you too much, yet take you for granted at the same time. Special Field, and extraordinarily small bussiness. I have greatly of freedoms but, I like to procure off in good time if I am not due to recieve overtime. I end up adding together the hours on to comp time. Don't be mean lately speak your mind.

Answers:
First of all, if you're exempt there's not much you can do bar talk to your boss. Most folks make the mistake of assuming the others know how you're emotion. Try going to your boss about 1/2 hour past you're planning to leave and vote "I'll be leaving contained by about 30 minutes - do you inevitability anything before I walk?" Hopefully he'll get the allusion and not give you 1 hour's worth of work. If he does, ask if any of it could be done within the morning. Now, if you're non-exempt, of if you're supposed to be, he needs to start paying you overtime - that's the ruling. Unfortunately, working for a small company generally method you'll be in exactly the situation you're within now. I'm contained by the same boat, but within CA (I don't know where you are), it's outstandingly rare for an admin to be exempt, so you might want to verify that your status is correct.
Wow it is crazy how I can relate to you! I live within Las Vegas in a small company as the Admin. Assistant and tolerate me tell you I travel through all the things you run through. I wish I could clock surrounded by and out, but my boss tells me she wont put one cuz of my convenience (lol yah right I other get here ahead of time and even earlier when I come stern from lunch and I still just draw from payed for 8am through 5pm) No overtime, no benefits, nothing whatsoever. She is the wife of the CEO so she pretty much can explain to me to do whatever she requirements. She got really upset when I told her if I could go and get reimbursed for gas, she gets angry when I ask for a morning off (and that be only one and it be for my birthday and I've been here 1 year).
Not lone that she always make me do her personal stuff (I don't think our investors would be joyful about that) There is newly so much, I think I could budge on and on...

So in your travel case and mine, well resembling you I need the money so adjectives I can do is just save my eyes open and look for something better, a bigger company that have more to offer, and is also flexible because we enjoy a personal life also. And when I find it I will administer my notice and never come subsidise again.

Good Luck for the future!!
Are you aware that single government agencies can confer comp time instead of overtime pay? Also, solid salaried employees are entitled to overtime compensation (although the formula is for a while different than for hourly employees).

Sounds like you are not singular being taken for granted, but also self taken advantage of!

Get acquainted next to the federal laws regulating overtime reward. I was contained by a similar situation (receiving comp time for overtime hours), and discovered only after going away that job simply how much my boss had screwed me.

My counsel is to discreetly search for a untried job, later report that shady employer to the government. You also might be capable of seek compensation for the unpaid overtime!
Comp time can work surrounded by your favor. Build it up, plan ahead and schedule yourself bad - communicate your plans well contained by advance. You're not paying any taxes on comp time plus you go and get to choose when you're off. Versus have a "holiday" like Labor Day where on earth everything is closed.

Do you have a specific brief description? Sounds like it's time for you to update that surrounded by writing. Then examine closely your pay, benefits and work environment. How much of an increase contained by your salary can this small business afford? You're packed up for a mega corporation so even small increments can hurt the business owner.

The "taking for granted" part of your available job is simply a personal bad mannerism on your bosses' part. It's not ingrained surrounded by your position, just surrounded by his demeanor and choices. Probably isn't even aware of it, does the same to lots of other nation he encounters. Be mean what you wish for, this is adjectives business. So be professional, be polite and exceed expectations. You have more to gain from mortal better at your job than freshly showing up.

Good luck...
Obviously you are good at what you do and not profusely of people can say aloud that. However being taken control of will cause burn out faster than anything. Sit down and write a professional presentation for your employer stating the facts and not your morale ask for a private meeting to explain things to him/her. If you work for a worthy company they will take you seriously and things will evolution for the better. If you work for a non personal corporation things will get worse and you should be prepared by looking for another assignment before you approach them only in defence.

Sorry, but don't believe what you're told. If near was such a entry we'd all stay home to variety money. Set our own hours and how much time we wanted to spend on it. I'd love something resembling this, but it does not exist!
May I suggest looking into medical transcription. They are needed and there are places that will allow you to work from home you may have need of to take a few classes, similar to medical terminology for one. But it could be the entity you are looking for most community colleges have courses and you may freshly be able to do them on-line instead of have to go to an actual class everyday. Just brand name sure where ever you bring a class it is accredited if not it will be of no good you should be capable of find out through your state government trellis site. Good luck finding a job!! :)
I enjoy a home base business and it works for me. If you would approaching more information send me a message.

Even if you do not transport me a message. I admire you for wanting to stay home near your child. I have be home for 17 years and some times were rougher than others, financially, but I would not progress a thing.
You can set yourself up as an independent contractor and nearby are companies that hire customer service people that work from home. I found info on the 'find a VA job' clause of this site below.

If you can tutor kids online, or write good articles or if you assume you can work well as a customer service agent, you can apply to online companies hiring work from home body. You can see their links at jobzonline.blogspot.com

What to do when not a soul will hire you because of removal of experience??

Question:
Graduated college two years ago ( had approaching one internship and a job unrelated to primary junior and senior year).
Got married and got a child. Now I'm arranged to enter the corporate world but nobody will hire me because
1) have no experience
2) haven't be working for the last two years after graduation ( get a Business degree)
What should I do?

Answers:
To begin near, you've got great credentials, similar to your degree. You could other tell your prospective employer that you're prepared to start at the bottom of the food chain and work your style up. So being competent to accept a deep-seated employment level might facilitate you get a employment. Employers a generally delighted when someone's ok with starting at the bottom.
There are plentiful opportunities available if you are inclined to start at the bottom rung of an organization. I wonder if you are aiming too dignified?
They might be using that as an excuse to not point out why they really don't want to hire you. You could work at a smaller business for a while I guess..
search for "entry level" when you are commission searching (monster, hotjobs) or only start out somewhere part time to take yourself back into the workforce.

Be tolerant. It's not the best of markets right immediately, apply to everything including the places that seem out of achieve too...you never know. It took me 6 months out of college to even get one interview...but that one interview be the one that hired me.
Sounds like you hold set your sights too high. You will want to enter the working world at entry-level, just close to everyone else.

There is an "entitlement phenomenon" sweeping the country where college grads believe they are going to turn from their college degrees to a corner organization on the top floor with a parking space and six numeral income.

You gotta earn it.
You may have to do some entry rank type work until you build up some work experience. I would suggest going to a temp agency - they have lots of jos that don't necessarily require experience. One item you will need though is a register of your skills. Make sure you can tell them what kind of things you can do and what you are good at. Once you achieve your foot in the door somewhere, you may know how to move up with rock-hard work and resourcefulness. Good Luck!
Temping will get you into a form pretty quickly, and it is deeply easier to prove you are valuable beside actions to some extent than with a resume. It also give you a trial period to opt if it is even the company for you. I left a full-time mission in December and spent most of this year freelancing and temping beside pretty good results. I am starting a clean full-time job this week, and the company where on earth I am temping was offering me full-time so I would stay. It is the first time since I get out of college where I hold had competing offer.
nowadays it's not the WOW factor to hold lots of experiences,
for me there's more than experience in business world, similar to personality, professionality, these factor cannot be faked, perchance in the origination they can but like dated saying time will relate a good core, i believe if you show that spirit and willingness that u dying to put into your working place, i would certainly positive everyone will hire you within no time.
when you haven't done any job for the finishing 2 years it's a good conception to do research on the company that you want to apply to, employers are terrifically anthusiatic when you know a little bit more or less the company which they assume that you have keenness on the company.
the key to nouns in the working world is honesty, human sense, and unyielding work. you go sister!!
Have you have any interviews at all? You enunciate "no one is replying", so I find the impression you aren't even interviewing.

If that's the skin, my guess is your resume. There's something about it to be exact turning employers past its sell-by date. It happened to my sister - she have her teaching level, and then go back and get her master's degree contained by Library Science, but could not get an interview anyplace. Why? Her resume be very disorganized and unprofessional.

Seek out a professional to relieve you with your resume. I'll bet that make a big difference!

Honey, I'm going to tell you the truth...
LIE...

I know a couple of girls (they're babie, almost). who hold $30,000+ salary... How do they do it? They not tell the truth about their situation experience and their education.

You already hold the education, so merely lie roughly speaking where you own been working. Find a friend next to a small business to give you a hint.

You have to "play the team game!" and being too honest is impossible. Those companies don't care more or less you as a person...so you enjoy to scheme your mode into them.

Good Luck.

Career decree (in the making)?

Question:
I'll be enrolling at a community college soon, and I'm debating on what I should steal as my focus class (since I can transfer it to a college).

Basically, I've get it narrowed down to Criminal Justice and Journalism.

Criminal Justice I like because I hold a strong sense of justice. I would similar to to be a Bail Enforcement Agent, since I could easily travel all right with that errand and I love traveling.

But I also have a vehemence for writing, and Journalism would allow me to write to bring in a constant flow of income while I work on original projects.

Any advice on which bridleway I should take? They're both equally appealing to me. One hypothesis I had be taking both, then at the closing stages of the first semester stick with which one I like best.

Answers:
Which one do you have the bigger eagerness for? You mention traveling as a bail enforcement agent, but you could also travel extensively as a journalist. I come up with journalism has the better art path - you could write for a focal newspaper or magazine. You would be the writer with a strong sense of equality. :-)
Neither of these career path will pay awfully well. Not that I'm discuraging you. Most reporters start making less than the average university teacher.
I would have an idea that that your opportunities contained by criminal justice would be greater. With an undergraduate point, you could work as a paralegal, parole or probation officer. You could complete a training course and become a police officer or security guard, or you could dance for a graduate degree and do authority or teaching.

Job interview near border services?

Question:
i have a livelihood interview with border services to become a custom officer. i own passed the test immediately i have an interview.

what are some possible question they will ask? im feeling rather nervous. Any lend a hand would be great!!

Answers:
You might consider asking a question of your own surrounded by this interview
Ask how long there will BE a border services !!
Since it is becoming reasonably apparent of behind schedule that there is awfully little left of it NOW !
Might run to at least person on notice of your appendant livelihood security !!
They will ask you: "Will you consent to everyone in illlegally?" and unsurprisingly you say "Yes" since specifically all they do
I used to work at the border. They will ask (or at lowest possible did when I went for an interview) terribly general question on how you handle the public. The hi-tech stuff you can learn, but they want to bring back a feeling that you enjoy a stable personality, are a largely inquisitive person, etc.

Is it better to join together a small, 6-month prehistoric announcement agency or a generous, economically established classified ad agency?

Question:
I'm 25, been working for a substantial ad agency for 3 years immediately. Planning to shift to another agency. Been offered two jobs. One beside a 6-month old agency, markedly small, 4 creatives including me. The 2nd job's at a large multi-national agency. Pay is almost equal. The smaller agency doesn't have too copious accounts, but are pitching for new ones adjectives the time. The Bigger agency has lots of capably established accounts. The small agency offers flexible timings and direct interaction near clients. While the bigger agency is rigid on timings and client-interaction will be limited. I'm really torn between the two right in a minute. I know this is a crucial career move. Need to want in the subsequent two days. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Answers:
Personally, I'd stay with the bigger company. It's going to be the most in safe hands of the two. A 6-month old company, regardless of the industry, is clearly still growing and doesn't have proven financial stability at this point. The business could fold surrounded by another 6 months. Yes, it might be more flexible in some aspects, but individually I'd feel more comfortable knowing my employer have a strong, stable foundation.
Stay with the bigger one.you'll be better rotten at least you know your duty will be secure...
If I be you I would go beside the younger agency. You never know how far it will go.
However, if you have need of absolute chore security, dance with the elder agency.

Which one will you choose?

Question:
will you rather work as a customer service (Teller) at a wall or work for New York Life Company as Sales Agent. Why will you prefer and Why

Answers:
Both jobs are within the customer service field. A sandbank teller will retribution you hourly and may offer compensated time off and vigour insurance.
An NYL sales agent is base on your hard work and those wanting to purchase your services...compensated by commission, not offered paid time stale, and if insurance if offered you'd pay greatly for it. Plus, you pay for lead, do a lot of phone calling (maybe 300 contained by a day) and travel to meet potential clients.
So, you could choose to be rewarded hourly and work the corporate ladder or, hopefully earn money as a sale agent.
I'd choose to be a bank banker...I'd know what to expect on my paychecks.
Best Wishes on your decision! ~Kristina
I intuitively would rather work as a banker because I don't have the self-image to work in sale. But if you have that self, being a sale agent would probably be a better career narrow road because you have the opportunity to build more money.
Never pick customer service because people are rude and not conversant.
New York Life Company as Sales Agent.

You go out and provide your concept, while attending Insurance Buyer.

Starting 2009, do you obligation a masters to pocket the CPA exam/?

Question:
I live in Florida

Answers:
Florida requires 150 hours of lessons. You do NOT have to achieve the Masters degree, but some citizens choose to because the Masters degree usually requires solely a few more classes than the 150 hour rule for CPA exam. It's the reason I chose to catch the masters degree (at FSU). I enjoy not heard (and could not find anything) more or less any possible changes to the rearing requirement.
Good luck! :)
Check with your state accountancy board.

My perception is that people own been required for some time immediately to have master even hours to take the CPA exam. But I don't know if it's a requirement to if truth be told have your masters scope.

Good luck from one CPA to a future CPA!
"1. A bachelors scope from an accredited institution. There is no requirement that the bachelors degee be within accounting.

2. Thirty semester hours of coursework from an accredited institution, beyond what be required for the bachelors degree. If a bachelors scope required 120 semester hours, then the total hour requirement is 150 semester hours. There is no requirement that the thirty superfluous semeser hours be taken at the masters level. In postscript, there is no requirement, per se, for a masters scope.

3. Within the total hour requirement in "2" above, 36 semester hours of accounting and/or excise courses above the principles level. For a index of accounting and tax courses offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance that qualify underneath this requirement, click here.

4. Within the total hour requirement in "2" above, thirty-nine semester hours of common business courses, including six semester hours in business statute. "
check with the accountancy board surrounded by your area. Right in a minute there is only a 150 hour rule, but it doesn't require a masters, but most people are doing it that passageway.

Good luck to you.
I do not believe so. I have be keeping track of the requirements because I will be talking the exam around that time. Every state have its own requirements, but I don't think it is required to hold a masters. This website will give you a register of requirements that most states have. Hope it help.
