Im concidering court performance against my work place. where on earth should i begin?

Question:
I have be at my job for 1 year and a partly and it has be less than an satisfying experience. I came into conflict starting out human being as that i was discriminated for my age. I file a formal complaint for sexual harrasment that i reseved from a fellow co worker and nothing be ever done. A short time after that i was pulled to the side for unprofesionnal attitude and be told to correct the problem. I corrected the problem but still no change be observed so i was suspended for 10 days beside out pay. I know that this is retaliation for the whereabouts that i took towards the co-worker who sexually harrased me. I want to bring legal behaviour to them but i dont know the first place to start. I am very lost as fare as what court actions can i purloin. I need guidance and i really want to see something done. Not just for me but for others approaching me.

Answers:
Make sure you have everything you claim hugely well documented .. time, date, location, environment, who said, what be said, etc ... take it to an attorney.
Talk to a legal representative
You should contact the Nation labor relation board and talk to them they will permit you know if you have acase and what to do subsequent.
Unless there is more to your story - you don't hold a shot in court. Unless you are a woman over 40 - it is tough to seize an age discrimination suit. As far as the harrassment - we would entail more detail as to what happened. No offense - but it sounds resembling you complain an awful lot and want things your way and if you don't capture it, you complain. You may need to suck it up and work harder or of late find a new undertaking.
contact an attorney asap and keep a bulletin. you have encounter a hostile work environment. unfortunately, if you try to litigate while working in that they will probably find other reasons to call off you.

i suggest you keep a narrative of the events the day and those involved contained by it if to keep an accurate statement of events. but i do suggest you seek permissible counsel.
This isn't the forum for a true answer to this question. If what you are truism is true, take a look for an employment attorney. Most will offer a short introductory assembly for little or no cost.

Whatever you do, don't trust the information posted here with your energy. Though we may seem similar to we know what we are doing, we could just be severely good actor.
Start by thinking of concrete evindence and reasoning.
Okay here is the truth. You need to find a modern job. What I am roughly speaking to tell you I don't condone but fatefully it's the truth. Sexual harassment happen all the time contained by the workforce. Almost every time you report it you will get retaliated against by those you complained in the region of. The company is not concerned about protecting you, they are singular concerned about protecting themselves.

If you bear it to court you will probably win but you will be unable to find another career, this is because you will be labeled as a "bad" employee.

Is this completely wrong, yes, but its what happen all the time. People capture harassed adjectives the and unless those who do the harassing do something completely outrageous the company is more likely to get hold of rid of the complainer than to actually fix the problem.

My best direction is to find another job because you will gain no respect at your current job and they will verbs to treat you badly for complaining going on for them.
I'm confused, how have you be discriminated against for your age if you actually are working in attendance? In what capacity did they discriminate on age? And how is this sexual harassement very soon as well? Is your co-worker a supervisor? In what means of access did your company decide that you enjoy an unprofessional attitude?

Some of the answers would reveal whether or not you have a armour.

If you do not want to answer-G00GLE "employment attorneys" in your nouns. Give them a call. Or give the name your local office of the EEOC-also available by G00GLE rummage.
if you are so miserable why are still employed there? you solitary have 1 year invested within. sounds like your a trouble designer to me. they are probably trying to gently nudge you out the door, because they are sick of you stirring the pot. you can contact a legal representative, but without cold intricate proof (documentation, witnesses) your case will not be winnable.
Age nouns and sexual harassment on the career are illegal arrangements. Look at www.eeoc.gov and your state's Human Rights Department website to see if the incidents that happened to you spill out within the selection of discrimination.

It is not unusual for an employer to retaliate against an hand who has reported nouns. If a company refuses to investigate the charges, they may also be contained by trouble. If you want to proceed in a official action against your employer you will involve to contact a local employment attorney to represent you.

Word of caution here, do not quarrel for the "others like me" or the workers of the future, concentrate on you own luggage. The reality is that one or two or five or more nouns law suits do not stop employer from discrimination. Good luck.

I stipulation support on livelihood interview request for information?

Question:
question: is how do you knob stress?

Answers:
there is no std ans for this interrogate.also u didn't mention u r wrkg in which corral.I am takg an exp of Sales person.he can speak;- whenever i am falling short of a/cs to achieve my target..i keep detached,& focus on the area where on earth m lacking.focus on my target clients & plan a unusual strategy which can help me within gtg new a/cs.Also i other keep contained by touch with my exsisting cl;ients so at the time of stipulation I contact them who help me surrounded by gtg a/cs

so u can also ans smthg like this
Don't speak you go return with a gun and come back and snuff everyone that is a wrong answer.

I thrive on stress myself, deadline energize me so do my best work. When I start to stress out I presume about the worse article that can happen and adopt I could live with that so anything else isn't so impossible. As a stress manager I exercise going to the gym for an hour of aerobics is great to capture out the pent up energy.
Well it would depend on your opinion of yourself. If you work well lower than stress or it's a motivator for you. You would say "stress is a motivator, I see it as a rebel." If stress "stresses" you out. Then I would say "stress allows me to focus on a fastidious problem etc." "I take time to assess a stressful situation and work towards it fittingly." Keep it positive no matter what your unadulterated personality is, or how you operate with stress. None of us "love" stress but, stress make us all act in response a certain path to it. Stay positive in adjectives your answers and you can't go wrong. Put a positive spin on it. Good luck!
I regularly use time management which have effectively helped to drop off stress. I manage my projects as competently as possible, I prioritize according to expectations.. There is always stress factor however I consider to be a conventional feeling when timelines are short. I work all right under pressue and am significantly motivated and face pace enviornments.. I handle it by 1) planning ahead 2) if unforeseen siutuations happens brand name effective decision quickly 3) prioritize and set or adjust timelines as to resolve the situation briskly and effectively...

Usually, they just want to know you can return with the job done.. detail them you like to draw from things done quickly and ahead of programme.. however if somethings gets contained by the way " you take it done.. !"
I would say:

Stress is something that happen to you once in a while - shows that you don't find stressed out over every little thing, which an employer would not resembling.
Say that you are very organised and don't leave your job things until the last minute so you don't tend to catch stressed. When you do get stressed, afterwards you go to the gym, discuss your issue/problem next to friends so you destress quickly.

The employer a moment ago wants to know that you can bar stress and how you handle it e.g. drinking would be frowned upon.

How do cashiers remember most of the PLU codes?

Question:
Hi,

I've applied for a cashier and I know the send for should come soon and I most likely will call for to remember most of the popular PLU codes if I am hired. How do you (casheirs) do it? How do we know that the apple is this kind and not the other open-handed? Is this provided during the training? Will my employer provide me with a booklet beside the pictures or just a document or do we just know by experience OR do we hold to go around the store and look at them ourselves? Any tips for me?

Thanks!! =)

Also, should I also let somebody know the customer how much money I received from them and how much I am giving them back for transmutation?

Answers:
the more popular codes will get stuck contained by your head through sheer repetition

and yes - recount them how much they are giving you, and then what their metamorphosis is
I've never seen a bank clerk who had memorized adjectives of the PLU codes. They always own piece of paper next to pics on it when they've looked up mine. It seems the individual ones they always know are for bananas. That's in recent times from seeing it over and over again.

As for your other questions, you'll be trained on what they want you to speak or do when you get your position. It's best to basically wait and ask them as they will be paying you, not us!
Well from my experience remembering the PLU's comes beside time really, u will remember the more popular PLU's after your first few shifts since you are putting them through so often. I be never given booklets or anything but each fasten can be different... where on earth i work we have computer screen that have pictures of the products and the PLU's on them... they will probably enjoy a list at the register, they cant expect you to swot them all and alot of the products enjoy stickers on them with the PLU on them.
But some incredibly helpful guidance i was once given is that back you start each shift get a quick tour of the produce department and check out the modern produce thats in and if u dont know what a product is purely ask another team extremity or the customer, they're used to it. You will learn it adjectives soon enough, so dont stress and you will be fine, after adjectives you are new and they dont expect u to know it adjectives in an instant!!

it also help to say how much money they distribute you and definitely how much revise you give the customeer for two reason: 1. it is good customer service and 2. if within are any discrepancies with the amount of money exchanged, proverb how much there is reinforces within your mind (and the customers) how much money is exchanged... trust me, u will encounter problems and quoting amounts helps to put most of these to rest, so dont verbs about sounding resembling an idiot saying it aloud adjectives the time...

good Luck and meet to the world of retail :)
using them everyday...
You should check out the produce dept. now to familarize yourself beside the products. Most codes are written down so you easily memorize them. Most are grouped together. Always count rear legs the change to customers to double check yourself.

Answers:
Well, within one of my past lives, I be a Shrine Clown. To do this 'job' you need to first capture a good outfit or costume and facade. Assuming you have adjectives that, then you post your first name in grocery stores and such adjectives around the area.

Please record, though, being a clown is not as assured as it might sound. Once you are dressed out, what are you going to do subsequent. Children love to have balloon animals made for them. So, buy a simple book or seize one from your library on making those animals. The basic ones are really pretty graceful.

I hope this helps.

Is it ok to bring a information wad to clutch log during interview?

Question:
Is it ok to bring a note wipe during a interview to take proceedings and to ask questions that i wrote contained by my pad? j/w.

Answers:
Absolutely. I consider this shows you are interested in their company and want to be sure you ask adjectives the questions you enjoy. I have other gone to my interviews with a notepad.
Of course it is. It in actuality makes you look more responsible and interested within the job.
I wouldn't it might look unpromising. If you have question ahead of time make a short enumerate then hit the restroom when you go and get to the interview site, check your appearance and look at your notes. Put them away until that time you enter the room, if you forget something you want to ask you can ask it another time.
Anything you want to research that you heard put together a note after disappearing,
Bring a copy of your resume for yourself and your interviewer. You can write an occasional word on the resume you are keeping.
YES, they will be impressed. They always want someone who is prepared and asks question. Even if I really don't have any question or already know the answer to something I will still ask a few questions. They other ask if you have any question at the end of the interview and you better hold, I would say, at most minuscule two. Good luck.
I have be on both sides of this situation.
When I have applied for a position I whip the pad, a tiny one. However, I asked the human being interviewing me if it would make them humiliated if I used it. One important article to remember is to be very aware of eye contact while doing this, and never stop your prospective boss from discussion. Better to miss something than imply what you are writing is more significant than what they are discussing.
Remember, an interview is just that, a frontage to face union. Terms can be discussed at a later date.
As a entity who hires people.

Of course. Not simply to take summary but to show you have did research on the company.

Walk contained by with your action. If the compnay has a website, rob a look at it, write down some things and questions.

When you achieve into the interview, you let them know you have a chance to review here website and I just wrote down a few question I had. Do you mind if I ask you rather bit about the company.

One of the question every interviewer always ask is "Do you hold any questions" That's when you pull out your minute pad.. Make sure you write down the answers, while fascinated to the answers.
I do interviewing for my company. I appreciate when someone takes the time to ask question and take log. Keep in mind that you are interviewing the company to see if it is a righteous fit for you just as much as they are interviewing you. I approaching it when candidates bear notes because it funds that if I do offer them the livelihood, and they accept that they truly want to work for our company and are not a short time ago filling time until they find something better.
Exactly what Wubs said!...Just don't bring a labtop:)

Does anyone else be aware of resembling college be a huge throw away of time?

Question:
I graduated put money on in 2002 next to a B.S in chemistry. I be unable to find any clothed chemist position after graduation. I didn't know that a B.S. in chemistry be so worthless. I didn't spend 4 years in college freshly to get a $12/hr opportunity. I eventually found a job near an insurance company, working as a claims rep.basically only on the phone all sunshine filing claim reports. After 2 years working here, I get so disgusted with it. This be such a dead-end job beside no future potential. So I quit. My father owns a gas station, for which I own been working at since June of 2005.

Now I newly feel so lost and unmotivated. College did not prepare me at adjectives for the real world. I didn't gain any adjectives skills that I can take to the workforce. When I tried applying for chemist positions, they told me I didn't enjoy enough experience...so I applied to chemist job that asked for an associate's degree, so I can gain experience..and they told me I be OVER-EXPERIENCED because of my bachelor's degree!!

Answers:
Most of my minimum wage job, there be always a few general public with bachelor degree, from accounting to engineering.
No, going and receiving a point in college. It is not a leftovers of time. You just enjoy to get right hindmost out there and apply yourself, again and again. You will find something to suit you physically, mentally and sure financial. Don't give up. Get right put a bet on out there. Good Luck.
College doesn't prepare you for employment hunting. Most people I know that hold finished school assume they can go to an interview and slap within degree on the table and boom your hired. Its not that comfortable. Looking for a job is a brief in itself and even if you hold a degree if you enjoy no work experience your not as valuable as you might ruminate you are. In the long run you will be more valuable afterwards people next to experience but no degree. Believe it or not closely of jobs don't even require a amount but you can only bring so far without one. You gonna own to start somewhere so if your working for 12/hr as a chemist remember the experience your gaining is more useful then your take-home pay at the moment. Don't give up though.
A college point is never a waste of time. It sounds close to you thought the degree would convey you to your dream job and it doesn't work close to that. In college you should have be looking for Summer jobs or internships that would own given you experience on your resume when you applied to be a chemist. Having a college degree doesn't other mean starting out next to huge money. You might start out making little money but once a few years go by you will be promoted and capture significant pay increases because of your level while others will be held back minus it. It sounds like you own given up. Continue to apply for positions. Instead of applying as a chemist, why not apply at the company in a different nouns, once you get your foot surrounded by the door you could be transferred to a different position later. I am speaking out of experience. Please don't supply up.
College doesn't prepare you for the real world? OMG! Wake up! Maybe you involve to STOP CRYING and go apply at some of these places that may nick you with your fixed skills. And $12 an hour is not bad for these times. Why don't you see what the requirements are surrounded by your state to be a substitute teacher? Someplaces it is exceedingly strict, others, like where on earth I live, are very graceful. Here you just involve 60 college credits to be a sub. And I have a BA. I be told I was over qualified for a profession I really needed. I just looked at the interviewer and told him I could be as stupid as he looked-for if he gave me the charge. It worked!
College is what you make of it. A scope is only as biddable as the person bringing up the rear it. If you did not learn anything surrounded by college then you will be working at McDonalds. If you graduate from college with an teaching then you will obtain a good undertaking.
I'm sure that your college experience was not entirely useless to you. Maybe you a moment ago haven't found a position where you can apply the things you've cultured. With that said, I can relate to your frustration. Finding a job near a B.A. is difficult because you will be overqualified for a lot of positions, but not qualified plenty for some more advanced ones. If you want to apply for some chemist positions like those that turned you down, you may inevitability to go to grad conservatory to be eligible.

However, if that doesn't sound appealing to you, you will obligation to try some alternatives. For instance, you could contact your college's career center for guidance. Many of them are more than happy to aid alumni. They can connect you to other alum who might be useful art contacts. You may be able to find a research assistant position that will allow you to consequently advance to a difficult position.

There is still a possibility that you can apply for positions that you are slightly overqualified for. In your application or interview, you can emphasize that because you own a B.A., the company won't have to spend as much time training you. This is one other remedy you may pursue. Bottom line: Keep looking, and don't supply up yet!

I start my trial livelihood tomorrow and i own never ??

Question:
used a cash register enny proposal is it hard !
do u necessitate to be really good next to math and stuff !

thanx !!

Answers:
calm down,,,,they'll drill you
It isn't hard at adjectives. Most registers prompt you for every transaction you need to brand.
These days cash registers do it adjectives for you. You punch in the amount the item costs, later press subtotal, then enter within the amount the customer gives you and press Total and the brass register has worked out how much fine-tuning the customer should receive. Easy.
Hi there Lily, A brass register is quite simple to use. It is simply new while it is unsullied if you see what I mean. It should not steal you long to learn how to use it.dont verbs! You do not need to be honest with math, as long as you can work out how much cash to give when someone pays for something. Having said that, most bread registers these days will do that for you.I choice you all the best! :o)
nope its unforced, don't worry- they don't expect you to know straight up. You'll learn by the first time or so. its a machine that works it adjectives out for you.
Don't be afraid to ask questions!!
You'll be fine. Just take care. Count your money twice if you have to. Take rather mini calc with you a moment ago in valise a customer decides to metamorphosis what bill they are using.. like if it's 5.10 for the mart, they give you a 20 and after decide they want to donate you 10 dollars and a quarter... you'll get better at it and be capable of think speedily and make conversion but sometimes it helps to of late have it contained by case of a brain freeze.
Also, other leave the money they hand over you OUT of the register until you finsh giving the change and shoulder bag the item.. sometimes a customer might CLAIM they gave you a 20 and they give you a 5. A lot of fishy people sometimes.. sometimes individuals genuinely achieve confused but some people do it conscious essp if they see that you are new. Don't be afraid. It's for a while pressure at first. You will get used to it. Every register is for a time different. GO SLOW and think previously you start pressing buttons. GOOD LUCK hope this helps.
It's super simple these days, with the scanners. Most difficult entry is meorizing codes for produce or items that have to be weigh. Overall, you'll get the sway of it quickly.
don't verbs they'll show you how.
Good luck in your foreign job.Dont verbs they will teach you and by Wednesday you will be a mop hand at it.
Thanx for asking this query because I'll be getting a job contained by a month or so(turning 16) and I thought it required a lot of work.because they other seem to hold problems with them.
I own used a few different ones and they are pretty straightforward once you get the dangle of them. You don't need to be honest at maths as it's pretty much a big calculator. You ring up the price or scan the thing, the till tell you how much you enter whatever amount the customer give you and it tells you how much to present them back.

Dead comfortable! After a week it'll be like second temperament
Don't worry! You'll be skilled everything you need to know. And surrounded by any new available job, if you don't know - just ask!
Stop panicing - no you don't entail to be a whizz at maths that is why they invented change registers - your new employer will give you adjectives the training you need - merely be happy that you hold a new errand to start and enjoy the excitement that it brings. Even if you enjoy done similar jobs until that time it is unlikely that you would have used equal systems as the new employer. Pay attention to what your training includes and revise tons - before you know it - you will be a whiz
They will train you, but really, I am amazed that kids today do NOT know how to product change for a dollar. Take a calculator near you just surrounded by case :)

Ask your parents how to tutor you how to make transform for a dollar properly, by counting backwards.

Oh yeah, one other answer pointed this out,

NEVER, EVER put the customers money IN the cash register
and next give him revision. Your ALWAYS leave what the customer give you in for a while clip that is attached to the front, or on the little shelf. If you put the customers money IN the till,
nearby is always the correction that he will say..hey I give you a twenty. If you have the money IN the drawer, your're screwd.
If you be off it on the shelf until AFTER you give him his coppers, you can hold it up and say, sorry, but I hold your 5 right here.

I have a great undertaking. I am a career counselor (I love it so much, I am on this site answering question in my free time). I work at a college and I achieve to help relatives figure out what they want out of duration and then relieve them make those dreams come true!

I am surrounded by a part time job-share that they created to retain me when I have kids. I arrange my whole programme and I have the way out of getting paid to - counsel students and alumni one on one, initiate classes, run workshops, go out a lattice with employer, attend conferences, help the college review curriculum issues, etc.

I enjoy tons of autonomy, fun, interesting work and I like my co-workers! However honestly, I would never enjoy though of it. I was struggling to find my instrument, living with mom and working as a nanny. I get diagnosed with cancer and jump back into arts school for the medical insurance. While there I visit the career center and "flash" inspiration.
It is a sound fit for me as I have the the capability to help other infer critically, and analyze and integrate information. I can also very one-sidedly relate to the feeling of mortal lost as to a career direction.

I won a 'fishing adventure' at my old brief playing the football pool. I went on the trip and I met this doctor who looked he could of be my long lost twin. We didn't really get along vastly well but everyone kept mixing us up. On the second day of the trip he drowned, I switched his wallet beside mine and no one be the wiser. I stepped right into his life. That is how I get my doctorate and private practice.

i don't love my job one little bit. i'm not a janitor though, so it's adjectives good.
I departed school at 17 near the attitude I couldnt be bothered to work. But after my dad gave me headache after headache I applied for loads of different job. Out of the 8 jobs i applied for solely one replied which was a watchfulness home for elderly people. I completed up working their for 4 years. After that i got bord and not here. I didnt know any other type of work so i applied to work as a carer in the community. That be ok for the following 2 years, then i found it be alot of ware and tear on my sports car, plus not having much of a social existence. I then thought nearly doing a different type of care work and go into working with Learning Disabilities. I with the sole purpose lasted 4 months within as didnt like it. So i thought that assistance work wasn't for me. I have other ridden horses in my spare time so arranged to work with them. I worked for a year at an army stronghold in their stables as a groom. This be excellent but the pay wasn't well brought-up and it involved alot of traveling from my job to my home and it lately wasn't what i wanted to do full time. I later went into cleaning at a small airport, one be they build the techknowledgy and computers for planes. This was different and after a year I realised that i missed trouble work. However i wanted a duty that would be challenging, so I terminated up going to a home for adults with Mental Health issues. This be definatly challeging, but i worked my way up afte of late a year there to senior position and presently im head senior and still at hand. Ive completed my NVQ's 2 and 3 in thinking and thinking about NVQ4. I do not want to stay within forever but at the moment im very thankful there and own been here now a short time ago over 4 years. I want to sometime next year train surrounded by the field of Abnormal Psychology to better my job even more.
yes i work for the red cross because of what clara barton did so long ago to help surrounded by disasters and war torn countries but i am not a civil rights entity for people who torment citizens
I sort of have two job... one is a biz my wife and i own.. the other is the military...

sort of just stumbled into both of them.. appreciate these are just portions of my existence that i am away from my family... i can surf the Internet comfort people and adjectives that but i cant play with my son while i am at work... and that get me SO angry... so i figured this if i want to do that; anything that get me closer to that goal, no business what that is i will love... so as far as do you love your work?.. if they stopped paying i wouldn't show up... what i am excited about is that i in a minute have a vehicle for my goal... along the way i found out that i be good at not getting those angry and could sometimes make them chortle.. that's all you really call for some ambition persistence and a object to do more...

I would approaching top lend a hand associates reward down their debt.?

Question:
After getting myself out of debt and learning alot from it I would love to fashion a career out of it. Any concept on what I could do or what kind of training I should pursue? I guess I pretty much would similar to to do what they do at a debt counseling company.

Answers:
99.99 percent of those debt counseling places are SCAMS! They screw desperate people out of their money, by contained by effect lying to them! You need NO specialized training to be a con man, with the sole purpose a willness to follow the con. If you want to work for those clowns then progress to their many websites and apply. My PERSONAL favorites are the ones who pretend to be Christian. They enunciate all like things as the others, only they mention God every immediately and then. LOL! At the come to an end of the day you'll conclusion up paying these "non profit," "Christian" COMPANIES at least $1,000 and probably a great deal more.
