Depends on the job but some warehouse want you to work a forklift, pack boxes, move stuff, etc. I worked at a radio shack warehouse and did quality control, which have me test the products beforehand packing them back up for shipment.
my boyfriend works within a wal mart distribution warehouse.. but they're all pretty much one and the same. You unload items from one truck I believe into another. It's hard work. He solely works 3 days a week, but to him, it's like working 7 days a week. he works 12 hours shifts, sometimes more.
You raise tons of heavy items, yes the settle up is good.. my bf have been doing it since he be 17 and he is now 24.. and he get paid 17 an hour. If you can stand doing the work, kudos to you.
For others, at hand are other jobs at a warehouse that can be done besides shipping, at hand is security and clergical job..

Prospects for Oracle technical consultant is virtuous in EU but better surrounded by UK. The last two answers be in sync if one realize UK is not member of EU.
Language skills are always compassionate.
Hate to say this within a public forum, it is easier for a male than a womanly to find a job contained by EU particularly methodical fields. Although Italy and lots countries has womanly in the matchless office of their board, many private sector are still vastly male dominated.
My suggestions:
- Start beside UK if you can
- Start contacting the top-tier consulting firms, not just the Big4 but also McKinsey, Bain, AT Kearney, Booz Allen Hamilton, Arthur D Little etc. Management consulting is bigger within Europe than in the North America.

Two things to consider:
1) If you are an EU citizen, you must be the worst one, not able to grab hold of a long term living to choose to work as consultant.
2) If you are not from EU, to be able to work surrounded by EU, you must catch a bird beside your mouth! You must be the best of bests to get a work travel document. And you must speak local languages fluently (in Italy Italian, contained by Germany, German etc)
As a 17 yrs IT professional employed in EU minus citizenship, this is my observation:
Most IT consultants within EU with EU citizenship suck, because if you are remarkably good at what you are doing, you can efficiently get a long residence, well paying chore. EU is totally different than USA. Europeans have great benefits (health insurance, stable take-home pay, pension guarantee etc) when they become an employee, contracts are tremendously long and they do not change livelihood as frequently as Americans.
Therefore most consultants are freshmen, rookies and low grades who cannot get a long residence job after copious attempts and had to chose to work as consultant! When we own to work with consultants, they really go through a lot and most they find are inexperienced. I can articulate only 1 out of 5 hired turns out a really competent consultant.
Those dutiful ones are mostly aged and experienced ones, who lost their job or contract temporarily. And for citizens who are from outside of EU must be the top one or having uncommon specialty to get a consultancy position contained by EU.

I disagree with the second answer. If you are looking to be a consultant on a permanent proof then this is a stable avenue, without doubt. In order to work contained by the EU, have an agency sponsor you for a visa. This will see you to work in whichever country is required. As long as you speak English and the prose of the country you wish to live within, you will not have a problem.
If you are looking to be contracted out, this is not as stable but as an experienced Oracle Apps TC within the UK you can command up to lb600.00 a day for short to milieu term contracts.
