True, edification may not pay okay, and you may not enjoy journalism, but they will probably settle enough to put food on the table and hang on to a roof over your head. The Kaplan review courses are designed to prepare you to steal the NCLEX. There are other test reviews that are not classroom base. For example, Mosby has a review book beside a fake NCLEX theory test. Take as many of these test as you can, they will indicate your weak areas and make a contribution you a place to concentrate your review work.
Also, make sure you are up next to current health standards. 12 years is a long time since you graduate your school, and standards translate. For example, CPR and ACLS standards changed last year, and I am sure the check would have question that meet current guidelines.
