What should I wear on my situation interview?
Question:
I am going to be going on a job interview at Kinko's and I am not sure what to wear. All the other job I went on, I be overdressed because I seen other populace go on situation interviews after I started working there and they adjectives had jeans and stuff on. Also, if they ask me stupid question like "Why do you want to work here?", what should I influence? The only common sense I want a job is to put together money and that doesn't sound right on a livelihood interview.
Answers:
try mixing casual beside business: a business jacket with a knee-length denim skirt or something. since it's a moment ago kinko's, it shouldn't have to be too formal or anything... and when they ask 'why do you want to work here?', freshly tell them some of the skills you own that would help kinko's. conceivably you're good at organize? you work well near computers?
hope this helped!
<3
Business suit. If they agree to you wear jeans to work, that's fine. The interview is the time for you to be on your best behavior.
Why do you want to work there? Just for the money? I don't feel so. Think about it. There are plenty of places to earn money. You can get a LOT more money as a plumber's assistant than you can working at Kinkos.
Be creative. The reason you want to work in that is because it is a dynamic company that is on the forefront of technology. They are providing major edge solutions to their business and consumer customers' problems. (If you want to work out of the ordinary hours), the company's operating hours perfectly align near your personal work preferences.
Remember that they are interested in what you can do for them, not what they can do for you.
Good luck, and do them a obedient job, if you gain hired. Watch your grammar, though.
You should dress one even up from the standard of the company. If the company is casual, wear business relaxed, if its business casual, wear business professional; etc...
As for the why work here put somebody through the mill, come up with something simple. If its a elemental customer service job you can articulate you like the customer service industry, dream up kinkos is a great company and think the chore will give you experience that will comfort you in your trade.
smart casual I'd utter, not so casual and not so formel.
If they ask you why you want to work here, vote the truth, you may say "I close to the system here, I like that everything is organised and nice, populace here are decent, I similar to to .. (tell what you'll be doing) and ofcourse money-wise.
You can ask yourself this question and write down the answers, besides the money article what else made you ask for that particular position at Kinko's
Wear a suit made of paper.
Wear what you would wear to work. Tell them you similar to that kind of work.
When they ask you why you want to work within say a few of these lines:
-I wallow in working with relatives
-I want to gain experince in this paddock
-I really enjoy working beside computers/printers
-I want to be able to share my education my skills with the public
WHAT TO WEAR:
Dress pant, kaki's, black pants (no jeans 4 an interview)
dress shirts, button up, collar, fitted.
this is offhand but dressy.
i guess a dress shirt pant and tie..
dont worry something like what other people wear..
u've to be professional..
U have a self-image just make out it..
and go..
All da best :)!!
Dress shirt, pant, belt and casual shoes, and be hugely well groomed. Dont wear a full suit for kinkos.
How do I stop my boss from pushing an outside business on me?
Question:
My boss is involved in a pyramid hatch up (similar to Amway). He is really pushing for me to get involved because I enjoy a lot of friends. He hopes I can carry them in this point too. Trouble is, he is a crappy boss on my full-time job, so I really don't want any more contact with him. I am also within college, work full-time, two kids, two part-time job, so no time for anything else as it is. How do I tell boss of the year to rear legs off? Trouble is, he will assign me crappy projects until one of my coworkers pisses him sour. I like my opening and the way it's going, hopefully he won't crap on that for me. We work within a government agency, so HR will probably be no minister to either.
Answers:
Say "Look, honestly, I'd appreciate it if you be to stop mentioning this business. I'm sure that you've found success next to it, but I'm not interested in it."
Actually, you should e-mail it and BCC a copy to your personal email address if proof is needed surrounded by the future. And you really should filch it up with HR if your boss persist after you've done this.
at least your boss go to the bathroom with the door closed.
only say no thatnk you I enjoy too much on my plate to begin near.
Just tell him point blank that you hold your hands full next to work, classes and family, and that he should find someone else who can distribute his "project" more attention
Tell him once, very clearly, that you are not interested, that you own too much going on to take on something else. Ask him not to ask you again. If you really inevitability to, if he asks again, the second time you say, "I apologize if I be not clear. I do not want to do this. I would really hate to enjoy to draw anyone's attention to your outside work, so I hope you won't ask me again, or I will have to report it to your supervisor and to HR." The threat of that may capture him to back sour, but I'd only use it if he bugs you after you sort it very clear, one time, that you do not want to capture involved.
I would just be really nice give or take a few it and be like, "thank you so much for thinking of me...while yes, it would be nice to invest surrounded by this company; at this time, I feel that I really don't enjoy the time to give it my full attention.I will tolerate you know if my situation ever changes..."
Easiest answer
Pyramid Schemes are unlawful in most countries. This goings-on is the same as your boss trying to ask you to comit a crime such as stealing, drug dealing etc.
Highlight to your boss that it's not for you, you are aware that it is illegal and don't want to obtain involved in it. Mention to him that you will not rob it further as long as he stops.
If he continues, tell your HR or police and view the bully get fired
Explain to him more or less everything you have going on and you don't want to jeopardize any of it beside another “job”. I’m not sure how firm you’ve been dictum no. If you’ve been hedging afterwards maybe he feel he can push you into it. But if you’re firm he’ll see he’s wasting his time. If he’s still persistent and punishing you by giving you the desperate projects then he’s really individual unprofessional. My guess is he’s not doing very very well himself in this other business so he’s relying on you to store him. Keep saying no and hopefully he’ll eventually spinal column off. Good Luck!
only just say no.
approach someone who is also a boss and whom you trust around your own boss behavior.
if you allow yourself to be pushed, you will bear the burden yourself esp. since pyramiding involves you paying something first
Tell him you already found something better and you don't hold to sell and you still grasp paid every month and you would fairly spend your spare time with your own flesh and blood. Candy coat it as much as you'd like. A "NO" might lend a hand too. Jennifer

Not finishing big school is conspicuously hurting you. You should be trying to get your GED. Put your application surrounded by everywhere that you can think of, not a short time ago a few places. Education is one of those things that you really don't know if it ever helped you, but if you don't own it - you know it hurt you. I can promise it is hurting you.
BUT - what I would do first is spend the $100 or whatever and give somebody a lift a good profession assessment - there are frequent good ones. Career Direct be the best one I used - it assesses your personality and match you with career that may work best for you.
It makes little sense getting well-read in one nouns when your personality fit is within another area.
do what you love, love what you do, and don't verbs about it.
what do you want to do, what do you love doing. Don't verbs about money - what do you soak up doing, what do you feel call to do? do that.
If you feel call to operate a shrimp boat, then do that. anything Plenty of people product a living selling crabs.
Is Jetblue a appropriate company to work for??Should I exit my other airline career for this brand new scheme?
Question:
I've been working for 3 yrs at this other airline and I've be accpted into Jetblue to do the same type of duty. Moneywise, the difference is about $1 more from my actual hourly rate. I've hear multiple negative things almost how they over work their employees (I'm awfully confortable at my actual job, but a moment or two bit bored at the same time). And the impossible thing is that if adopt this new post I'll have to go school for at most minuscule 3 mos., as I don't know what shift I'll fall into (they told me to be flexible) -This is what scare me the most- I have a few more days to brand a decision, but still don't know what to do...

You must be kid or you don't watch the report! Jet Blue is in so much trouble for have delayed flights and inadequate service, that their days are probably numbered. You have better get up to speed on what's going on near them before you engineer any irreversible decisions. Manager Wants to make conversation?
Question:
I quit my job near KFC im 15 it got tough so i quit and the chief was rude.
But tonight i get an sms of her saying.
Hi daniel This is ?
I would close to to talk to you.
please bid when you have time.
What do you suggest she would say i dont discern liek calling her after everything i just grain like sending an sms saw that my email is she wants contact as this course i would be sure she wouldnt yell or anything.
What should i do and what do you ruminate she wants?after i quit?
Answers:
I agree near the other posters. Your former manager is probably short-handed and wants your help, and/or she may realize her previous activities were those of a right manager.
I reflect on it's a good perception to call her posterior and if you aren't able to connect next to her on your first call, evacuate a message informing her of the times that you are available to speak. When you do speak with her, share your concern concerning her yelling at you and distribute her direction as to how communications might work.
What I mean by to be exact something like, "I feel it was rude for you to yell at me because I wasn't moving smartly enough. Instead, you might lately tell me that we want to pick up the pace because we are getting set for the dinner rush." Essentially, you are identifying and communicating your point of belief, which also gives her a more communicative, actionable organization style.
It depends on why you quit, maybe she feel you left with prejudice. Just work up some courage and call her subsidise, if she yells at you, you own the right to end the conversation. You aren't beneath her power anymore, so don't let her intimidate you!
Prob wishes you to re-consider. Just call her what spoil can it do...
Drug examination?
Question:
can i contest my drug for a new available job or is it up to the company to decide that
Answers:
Proper protocol would own been to insist on you of the drug found and if it was of a questionable personality (could be due to a certain medication) they would enjoy advised you to retake the tryout that same day and bring surrounded by the meds. I had a pernickety case where on earth they found cocaine in the force system. He swore he didn't do drugs but due to a medication he was taking. We give him the benefit of the doubt to appear that same day beside the meds (companies will not or should not allow an additional light of day to go by to be retested). He never come back and still argued the try-out was wrong. In short, you hold every right to contest this finding and you should have be allowed to retake the test that same light of day you were told of the findings.
i devise that it depends on that state that you live in.surrounded by texas you can, but you also have to pay envelope for a new one...and still later the company does not have to hand over you a second chance
False positives are not odd. If the screen showed a drug that you enjoy not used, by adjectives means, ask for more detailed followup trialling.
if u can come up with a valid motivation like u have poppy muffin or poppy chicken then you might be capable of do it again but most places have a one done concord.. good luck next to this one..
Depends on the company's policy - most places allow for a retest depending on the substance in sound out. They may also allow you to verify with a doctor if the substance is available by prescription (to see if you enjoy a valid Rx)
If you tested positive, I would bet the farm you took something, and I'll let somebody know you why.
Companies that do drug testing look for much more than "trace" ammounts. You could chomp through 15 poppy-seed covered bagals, and it would only show as a 'trace" for opium contained by your blood or urine sample...that isn't adequate for a "positive" reading on a drug test to be reported put money on to an employer.
There are thresholds that are considered before the results are reported, and you enjoy to meet that threshold until that time a test is considered a positive result. In otherwords, you have to have more than a trace of something for them to fall short you.
An illegal drug is ANY drug that you lug that is any illegal by ruling, or illegal by prescription (if you took someone else's meds that you didn't hold a script for).
Drug test also test for substances found surrounded by "test clean" kit that people buy at the drug store...and this is an automatic fall short if these chemicals are found in your system.
They also asked you for a schedule of ANY medications (over-the-counter and prescription) you be taking prior to the drug test.and until that time they fail you, they will contact you to distribute you the opportunity for you to provide a prescription.
Sorry, technology is too far advanced for the test to be wrong.

As nursery nurse I am assuming that you mean working surrounded by the childcare field any as a playleader, play assistant, nursery staff or childcarer? There is a HNC in childcare which is college base and also a vocational equivalent which in scotland is svq surrounded by early years safekeeping and education or similar which is on the profession training or done while on a placement. Generally the training takes a minimum of in the region of a year depending on your experience and ability. There is also registartion and police checks and extras such as first aid, food hygiene etc that are requirements.
all right it depends on where you are if your surrounded by the UK you would need NNEB (National Nursery Examination Board) if you own no qualifications it would be best to do an access course for matured students first or a BTEC, check BBC's website for applicable ones http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/parents/lif...

Does anyone, or has anyone ever worked on a cruise ship up to that time? Since I enjoy traveling so much, I thought this would be a great channel to see the world.
There are so many agencies out at hand, but they all want different fees for information that may or may not be accurate. Any guidance on this? Thanks a bunch!
Answers:
I would advise to book a sudden trip on a cruise boat.. Find out if you even like self on a ship.. Remember you wont be seeing very much on a ship except hose.. I once took a cruise ship and followed the dream and I hated it because I get seasick.. I never dreamed that would happen and it be miserable.. Once you are on the cruise ship then ask adjectives of the workers to give you inside information going on for applying and find out if that is what you really want. Many Americans disappear after human being on a cruise so be careful its not other so glamourous
I had a well brought-up friend who worked on a cruise line wager on in the 80's. I don't know how different it may be in a minute. She absolutely loved it. BUT, it's really tough and draining work. She had to sign a contract-she couldn't purely go "Oh, I don't similar to this, I quit". It's like enlist! (Besides, where do you be in motion once you're at sea? "Yeah, merely drop me off surrounded by Portugal, I'll make my opening home from there!") She would work a long shift every daytime for weeks on end. She get two month-long vacations a year, and they would fly her any where on earth she wanted to dance. She made good money. She visit and lived in masses countries. And after a few years she got tired of self so unrooted, so she wound up going back to conservatory and having TRUE relationships again and planting herself back here contained by the states. It was an amazing experience, but clearly, not for everyone.

Its be 7 months now and I am still working at the place they referred me to but I get hired full time with the company making devout money...I would recommend to anyone to give the agencies a try...Its class of a hastle.but its well worth it...F.Y.I. I'm buying a house this week.
craigslist.com .. get my job that road
They're right with the temp agencies, or you can hail as up the local stagehand union within and work backstage. It is call IATSE local ... (the city's respective number) They will hire anyone. International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. Or you could find a job on the internet. However, don't slump for any of the online get rich expeditious scams. They're getting tricky and fancy next to websites and all that. I fell for the gain paid survey ones which are also a crock. you other have to fulfill the language and conditions. I did find one online business though that I really thought was a scam and signed up for it when I be drinking one night and told myself I be only losing a twelve pack (lol). It be $15 to buy the training guide and unbelievably it's no scam. I'm making over $100 a day. Nothing spectacular, but rotten 15 bucks it's worth it.
Do you suppose my CV is rejected?
Question:
I've applied for legal accounting work (which I've no experience), only usual accounting work. I emailed it last Friday morning and so far I've not hear a thing. I ring the agency this a.m. to check on progress and was put straight through to voicemail. I not here a message, but still nothing. Have I be more or less rejected?
Answers:
The process of getting a living like this through an agency is not as straightforward as applying directly to the company itself.
You may own applied for a generic agancy position, assuming there is one vacnacy - when contained by fact they are simply sourcing out CVs to fill a variety of similar vacancies they have.
There are various agencies out there, and to be honest contained by this sort of market - they aren't chiefly bothered about what you contemplate of them. If you aren't have any pleasure with this one, email / step and see a variety of them. Legal secretary work is surrounded by demand, and you do not necessarily inevitability the specific experience to get a chore.
If you do hear back from this agency (or any other) and they articulate you have be unsuccessful, press them to say why this is and what they give attention to you are lacking.
Good luck
Hi.
Sometimes it can filch a while for them to respond to you.
They also give it a few days for adjectives the applicants to apply so i wouldn't worry simply yet.
It's difficult to right to be heard but you need to take that a legal secretary is not really a secretary at adjectives. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you be rejected for the job.
Probably, but don't be discouraged. Just verbs your job hunt. There are millions of job out there. Surely, you will find a apposite job if you are uncompromising.
Peace and blessings!
Unfair boss wants to seize sued!?
Question:
I live in the Los Angeles nouns and my boss has be making tude comments to me or about me. Where can I run to get some allowed advice? I go to the CEO and he said that my manager is my boss and he have nothing to do near it.
help!
Answers:
Documentation is crucial to taking any bustle. You should record in black and white the specifics--date, time, specific comments made (exact quote if possible) and names of any other personality who may have hear the comments.
I would quickly consult a legal representative and begin developing a database. Your CEO was incorrect within saying he have nothing to do near it. If you notify him of an harrassment issue and he does not intervene than he is enabling the harrassment and is himself lawfully liable. However, again documentation is crucial. Otherwise it is just your word against his and his position give him the advantage. I would recommend that you consult a legal representative or independent counselor familiar beside harrassment issues for advice on how to proceed. If for example, what YOU consider indecorous is a community standard, then you may not hold a leg to stand on.
Go to your human resources, if that doesn't help, sue their asses and take rich. You don't have to steal that crap. Look up a lwayer in the wan pages. if they can't minister to you they might be able to refer you to someone who can.
And please don't listen to these idiots who are relating you to quit. Your boss is breaking the law. Remember that.
Labor board within your state? Board of Labor I think.
I agree, if human resources cannot or will not do anything, hail as a lawyer.
wow, the CEO said that? Fry em. Look on CA govt sites you should find a booth for labor laws or somethign similar, you can bargain with them for starters.
Just look for another duty for godness sake. Don't give any sense.
Did you mean lewd? I don't know tude. http://www.eeoc.gov/facts/fs-sex.html... tell you about sexual harrassment and how to turn about file charges. Not trying to dissuade you but be aware it will be a rough ride if the CEO is not backing you up.not to mention that if he is aware and does nil, he's wide open out to charges himself.
why dont you just quit if you revulsion him? Its your choice in America; the free country!! Just storm to his bureau and yell 'I quit!' and amble out
You should document each time your boss say these things to you, or when you hear other people recitation you. I would also make a minute of when you talked to your CEO. Your CEO have everything in the world to do next to this problem. Your CEO is your bosses boss and should have taken safekeeping of the problem right there and later. I would start by going to your HR and filing an officer complaint. You should do it in writing and receive sure you put a date on the paper. Keep a copy of this. Depending on what your HR mediator says and does... you can consequently go to the California Dept. of Labor and database a complaint. They will investigate and it will help you out if you own all those date and notes. You may even want to hold track of witnesses etc.
There is no law against rude command (just think how full the prisons would be!)
If your boss's comments are discriminatory or sexual contained by nature, consequently you should report him (www.dol.gov or www.eeoc.gov, depending on what he is doing - more info at those sites.)
If he's just an obnoxious shove, your alternatives are to put up with his behavior, or to find a unmarked job. sorry....
You're surrounded by California where they hold some of the best employment laws contained by my opinion and the CEO deeply blows off your complaint? OMG that's too sweet. Not sure what you propose by tude comments but if they are sexual in make-up, racist, demeaning in the sense that they belittle women and he is making these comments to single those of the opposite sex (preferably.) Are the comments derogatory surrounded by nature (this would fall down under Sexual Harassment and one of the grounds I am suing my former employer on. They be never sexual but very demeaning and the EEOC have taken my case.) If any of these things apply to you contact the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to report a complaint. You will be asked a series of questions and at the pause of the survey they will advise you if you own a legitimate baggage. An attorney is not needed to database with them.
