Well if your into baseball like me, you could do what i did. My house be right by a Little League baseball park. There were alot of childish kids (5-10yr old) that played baseball and in this park in that where over 15 games going on at once. So obviously the park needed umpires to umpire the spectator sport and make sure that every spectator sport is being played right. I umpire about 10-15 games a week from age 13-15. For every team game (about 2 hours) i got 14 dollars. So its in the region of $7 bucks an hour. Trust me its not a bad reimburse knowing that you only 13.

Have you ever fired somebody for their own right?

Not because they did a bad position. But because you felt they would do better somewhere else.
I enjoy. And, of course, they despised me at the time. But they all go on to better opportunities that my company could not provide at the time.
How did it work out for you?

Yes I enjoy. I was a sale manager next to a company that had strict sale quotas. Some people only just don't have what it take to be good sale people. I have more than one person thank me subsequent for letting them go. They be starving, but afraid to move-on minus being pushed out. They terminated up with better job that fit their skills and allowed them to make a devout living.

It demoralises a party severely to be fired - especially in the circumstances you outline. A worker appreciates proposal on bettering himself but to fire somebody for the reasons you impart is very extreme

The only reason I have ever fired anyone be for marginal attendance, performance, insubordination, and aggravated burglary.
I don't feel close to it's my place to decide what's best for someone else. I hold mentored those who were powerful to move on, but not fired. I also enjoy never been a "job killer" by giving poor references for someone I didn't want to lose.
I spent 15 years within retail management, hiring ancestors who were overqualified for the positions who needed my job. Me? I looked-for my boss' boss' job...
I didn't...but one entry is sure.that is that I wouldn't fire somebody because I believe that would be good for him/her. You can't desire for someone.it's not your right. I think that you fired somebody because you weren't sure that you can distribute them what they deserve, but anyway this wasn't a good perception because you don't know how will the person counter.he might react exceedingly ugly and do item which won't be very correct for him or for you. But you were lucky and the fired party has a obedient job :D
