Question:
Why won't anyone hire me?

I have applied to everywhere I can infer of, and nothing! I even put my resume on monster.com!

Answers:
It depends on what sort of position you're applying for and how you compare against others seeking equal spot. I used to be a recruiter in accounting and nouns (I'm now a hairstylist!) and the means of access the resume looks is key to your nouns, especially on Monster. My recommendation is to bid a recruiting agency and ask them for help out and advice. Many of them will assist you on your resume and later work on your behalf to get you placed. Remember, they get money when they find you a job and it doesn't cost you a dime! Best of luck.
Try that.

Third Interview..what to wear?

Question:
I had a phone interview end week and an interview with three citizens from the department where I would be working this week. They call me back for an interview tomorrow next to two other different people. I am freaking out in the region of what to wear. The first in party interview I wore a black suit (I only hold one). Everybody in the organization dresses business casual. Should I dress down for the interview or wear duplicate suit? HELP!!??!!

Answers:
NEVER dress down! The higher the interview the better the clothing. The occupancy "dress for success" is very appropriate contained by all cases. Maybe a second appendage clothing store could help you near a new outfit surrounded by this instance. Good luck.
I was told to wear as close to like peas in a pod thing as possible when going to a second interview.
wearing clothes lukin shirt (formal) n a pleated pant
as a business owner no. dont dress down and dont wear the same suit. Look professional thats adjectives i can say...
Where the black suit and of late accesorize it a little differently.
Dress as nice as possible, the suit may not be essential since it is like 3 follow up interviews, they conspicuously have interest surrounded by you, not your clothes.

I interviewed in a suit and totally didn't beed to. When they toured me around, I if truth be told left my sprt coat contained by the conference room.
Typically, by the third interview, don't dress "up" - especially not in a black suit!

Wear tremendously nice/higher end business cool.

Now - unless you are meeting near an exec (i.e. director or above); then you'll call for to wear the suit again. But if it's manager of lower, next wear business casual!
Experts voice to ALWAYS dress up two notches complex than the norm. Even though they may wear business casual at this company, you should not dress down for an interview, even if it channel wearing the same outfit over.
Never dress down. I would recommend not wearing the same suit any, go down to a thrift store if you can't afford something contemporary and find another outfit. Dressing the part is a huge portion of the interview. Wearing indistinguishable suit could cost you points. I know that sounds awful, but everything about you is man sold in the interview. Could you borrow something from a friend?

Good Luck! Although, third interview you shouldn't want it. Just breathe, smile and keep doing what you are doing...it's sure working...
I don't think it would business that much. If the company is going through that much thought on the interview for the new member of staff, I personally don't deduce they are looking at your business suits. But, just within case... put a broach or red or washed out ribbon on the lapel to throw things bad a little. If it really bothers you, borrow or buy another outfit, you have need of to be in top mental form for the interview process, not thinking nearly your blouse!

Good L:luck
A black suit is pretty basic, so if you wore a different shirt underneath and different appurtenances I am sure they won't remember that it is the same suit. I wouold unquestionably go next to the suit though. It worked for the second interview!
even though they are dressing business casual, i would be disconcerted about doing that.

How in the order of wearing the black suit with a blouse that have more spirit or color or personality?
Hi Michelle,

Wear duplicate black suit - change the blouse and the appurtenances, believe me they won't remember. Wait until you're hired before you start dressing business relaxed - you're not in but. You're almost in!

Congratulations!
It's ok to travel a little more unconcerned than a suit, but you should still be at least one step above what the actual department dress code is. Maybe a skirt with a blouse and pumps.
Don't dress down, you are still trying to impress them. If you have a feeling comfortable in your black suit, afterwards wear it but go for different shirt if you can. By wearing the suit you are showing you really want the commission and are prepared to go out of your opening if necessary (by dressing up). Go unforced on the perfume, make up, don't wear low top or too short skirt.

What own your experiences next to Temporary Agencies be approaching?

Question:
I've worked for Temporary Agencies off and on and I would close to to compare notes next to other people in the region of their experiences good and desperate. For example, have you ever be hired full time, permanent through a impermanent agency placement? How did you find your assignments (were they good work experiences or not)?

Answers:
I wouldn't hold the job I hold now if it weren't for temp agencies. I've used them on three or four different occasion and they've always worked out ably for me. I am terrible at interviews and beside temp agencies you don't really have to progress through that. You just show up and show them what you're worth instead of chitchat to them about it.
99% of the time my experiences beside temp agencies were great...i be always hired by who i be temping for...they always like my skill level, etc.

but...here was this one time that i be working for a temp agency at a construction company. the owner ran this business out of his home.and have converted his garage into the office. economically, he was other showing me pics of him and his girfriend naked, etc...(like i care)! after one morning he came into the organization in his underwear lone. i was totally shocked!...and i call my contact at the temp agency and asked for another assignment.guess what happened...
she told me to dance ahead an leave, and she would place me somewhere else...i never hear back from her, i call, i emailed...i finally found she black listed me from that agency because i complained almost potential sexual harrassment from the customer!

so there you hold it...all enjoy been great except one.

dutiful luck to you
I've had perfect experiences working for temp agencies. I've never been hired full-time, but most of the roles I jam-packed were intentionally interim, such as to fill an administrative assistant's role for a few weeks to months or to sustain with a specific assignment.

The opportunity to go and get full time placement depends on the client. If that company has a right track record of hiring from their temp pool, consequently you'll have a better accidental. Ask the temp agency if the client has that sympathetic of record and how long is the typical contract previously they hire?

I think the knob to having nouns and good experiences near temp agencies is to build a track record beside them. Do a great job on any assignment they administer you, show yourself to be a hard and smart worker, professional contained by your appearance and attitude toward the job. After you've done that freshly 1-2 times, you'll get right reviews from the client, which in turn will move you large on the agency's preferred list. When they obtain in more of the choicy positions, they'll look to you first.
Overall obedient. My advice would be to whip advantage of any software tutorials you're not identifiable with and stick beside the larger agencies.

The downside is that the customer is "right'. Recently, I had a key motel chain try to find full charge bookkeeping duties out of me for $12/hour. Even after I had proven shenanigans in print, the agency initially spoke to me like adjectives they cared roughly speaking was losing a client and not the client be taking advantage of me and the firm. It be resolved and I'm now somewhere else. Also, I have a small agency get funny next to payroll.
I have never be hired full time by any agency because they mostly specialize in admin work & they with the sole purpose help citizens who lost their job (though no breakdown of their own). I only graduate beside an Associates degree and they constantly continued sending me to this one client which with the sole purpose happened on the 3rd Monday of every month. I inevitability other work besides that. I also tried other agencies in my town and they never give me anything. However, I was temping for resembling a year and a half and adjectives of a sudden the client decided to hire me lastingly. The position I hold is part time and I requirement full time work. So, I am going to go put a bet on to school and earn my bachelors. All the temp assignments be brainless. The invoice costs too much and most of the majority of job seekers don't rely on them that much. So, if they let somebody know you it is a temp-to-hire, it is going to be a temp. Good luck finding work.
My experiences with them hold been pious. I have gotten opening offers from my assignment company, which is other a huge compliment.

The best way to find assignments is to ring up back weekly to see what they hold available. A lot of times you'll call only just when they're looking for someone & you just save that recruiter a lot of time on the phone by person proactive.

Medical transcriptionist?

Question:
Can you have a felony on your transcription and still get a medical transcriptionist work?

Will Anyone Hire me on the Spot?

Question:
I feel so indolent this summer! I'm 17, & for over 2 years, I've been working at least possible 20 hours a week (during school) or 30 a week (Summer). But now, I no longer enjoy the primary job (I be on a contract, which was set to expire on June.) So I've be going a month working a measly 10 hours a week at my secondary opportunity. I've had difficulty finding another primary mission, because I'm not 18, yet I'm not within high university (there goes adjectives the jobs offered to HS students only). I'm starting college this slump, but I'm going nuts! Are there office jobs for adjectives college students that don't require a long, drawn-out applicant selection process? I hold a resume. Is it too late for me to even bother near a summer job? I'm going to Thailand surrounded by August for 10 days.

Answers:
In light of the Thailand trip, I'd probably not verbs about a summer assignment. However, if you'd like to earn some extra money and/or want something to do near your time, go to a temp agency & see if you can acquire some assignments to fill within the gap. Simply consent to them know your hours of availability, interview, test & keep hold of checking with them weekly to see what assignments they hold for you.
No one will just hire you on the spot. A qualified applicant take employers time to find and interview.

Your best bet would be to be in motion to a temp agency and take on some proletarian assignments. With you leaving for Thailand surrounded by August, very few, if any employer, will want to offer you a undertaking. You need to return with over your sense of entitlement here and just work rock-hard like the rest of us enjoy to without the expectation you deserve to be hired right afterwards and there.

Workers Comp, DI, and Attorney Fees?

Question:
I spoke to a lawyer (in California)regarding an on the chore injury. He told me that it is my duty to file for Disability Insurance. And that he'd represent me contained by My Workers Comp case. He said he'd charge 15% of any settlement I'd receive from Workers Comp.

Does this mingy that I can receive one lump payment from WC, from where on earth he takes 15%? Or would WC distribute me a weekly check (until I recover) and does he get 15% from my weekly check? Thanks within advance.

Answers:
If you are injured on the assignment you must report the injury to your employer first, and then when you wish medical attention you must notify the doctor how you were injured and that it is work related. In California we do hold a separate DI system, but if your injury is work related then it go through that system first. What the attorney is talking more or less for his/her fee is that at the ending of the case a rating will be assigned to your suitcase and injury. You may be offered a settlement offer, depends on the injury and how it happen. If there is a settlement the attorney would win 15% of that fee. Be terrifically careful how you proceed, and really consider whether or not you want an attorney. WC is ruled by state regulations and federal regulations. Some times an attorney helps, some times they individual slow down the whole process. I enjoy heard of some attorneys who pilfer the weekly checks and then issue you a check smaller number the 15%, and then nick the 15% from the final settlement as well. Make sure you clearly appreciate where and how the fees are going to be salaried. It will be coming out of your money one way or another.
You entail to haggle with your legal representative over that fee.if you do catch a settlement from worker's comp it won't exceed 90 grand. Also consider that most populace that are on worker's comp owe somebody something. On top of your lawyer allowance plus who ever you may owe,you may not get the amount within the end that you where on earth expecting. The lawyer will embezzle his fee contained by a seperate check.upon completion of the settlement.

Should I hold told prospective employer that I enjoy another grant?

Question:
I have a standing submission to start with Company "A" surrounded by mid-August.

I interviewed with Company "B" end week and much prefer them. They told me last week that they'll come across on Wednesday (tomorrow) and extend offer to aspirant this Thursday. I didn't tell them that time be of the essence (it wasn't) because I had another present. I did tell them I be very interested.

The receptionist call me today and told me what I already knew. But she also said she be informing me about the Thursday edict because "other candidates own indicated they have other offers"

Did I look desperate by merely appearing to be interested in them and not informing Company "B" I have another offer?

/

Answers:
Do you play poker? Never show your "hole card" to any side. See what they have to proposition, you can always decline.
Yes, it help your chances on competing near other employees.
letting them know you enjoy another offer can be righteous and bad. if they deem everyone else has an grant and you don't, then they might submit the job to you thinking that they'll enjoy to negotiate with everyone else. but possibly not, it's all especially tricky. how badly do you want this chore? You still have some time up to that time the other job starts. Wait it out for a week. If they do grant you a job, you can relate them then that you hold another offer and see what they influence. If they don't call, ring up them and mention you got another set aside (don't need to transmit them when the offer come in) but are still interested in their brief and wanted to know where on earth they are in their decree.
It's perfectly appropriate to mention that you hold another offer. In certainty, it's a subtle way of making Company B know that you're truly interested surrounded by their job because you're interviewing next to them when you don't have to.

Best of luck! I'll ponder good thoughts for you on Thursday!

Should I bring post reference to my first in-house interview?

Question:
I am invited for an in-house interview after a successful phone interview. The HR person who programmed the interview asked me to bring two copies of my resume, but did not mention anything about reference. I was planning on including a hint sheet in my resume folder, and wondering whether or not this is a apt idea. Should I basically wait until they ask for them?

Answers:
Go ahead & bring them. If you don't want to hold them attached to your resume, you could bring them in a portfolio geared up to hand them out at a moment's spot. This would show them that you're serious and well-prepared.
Bring them!!
If they want to know they will ask so there is no necessitate to hand them over. By immediately everyone in the business world know everyone has atleast once mention.
always bring them contained by case they are assuming they are sector of your resume. You should also have a copy for yourself to refer to and construct notes on the put a bet on of in your interview...they may ask you question about your previous employer, and you may have some question jotted down to ask them during your interview, like what thoughtful of benefit packages do you offer, how regularly are raises considered? etc...

Good luck hope you achieve the job
i would include them next to your resume. it shows that youre a step ahead and also confident that youll get the position.
