Different college majors?
Question:
i know this question is tremendously broad but i want some idea of majors i dont really know what im gonna do wit my existence but i want a idea n i want to assistance ppl mostly teens when i grow up cuz that really matters to me any tips
Answers:
I believe that you can assistance people while working surrounded by almost any field, if you are true to yourself.
If you want to aid teens I say stir into teaching, counseling or college psychology.
im a film foremost
Maybe social work (won't pay anything) or psychology.
you can become a social worker, a lofty school trainer, college professor, juvenile correctional officer.
if you want to work with teens you could shift into teachy or therapy or pyschology. theres greatly of things out there that will be a broad topic but you can manufacture it something that will give you a work to work with teens.
im going to college to become an aromatherapist. if wondering what i.e. deals next to essential oils they are a substitute instrument of finding cures for health problems plus you obtain to make your own home made aesthetic products... hope this helps.
"cuz?" It's" because.".I can see where on earth English Literature and Composition might give you a problem.
Colleges close to you to declare some leading but fortunately a lot of majors are broad, close to Liberal Arts or Physical Sciences. Pre Med, Pre Law, other professional preps are a lot more specialized. It sounds similar to you might want sociology or developmental psych. Maybe a career counselor at your college, or the catalogs for the colleges you are considering, could give you a solid concept for a good trunk for your work.
THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO GO ONLINE AND DO SOME RESEACH ON WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ENJOY DOING AND THEN WHEN YOU GO TO ANY COLLEGE ADMISSIONS OFFICE MAKE SURE YOU GET THERE CATALOGS AND READ ON ALL THE MAYORS THEY HAVE AVAILABLE AND THEN YOU WILL FIND YOUR TRUE SELF AND CAREER... BEST OF LUCK
psychology / therapist / counselor (you can focus on teen patients).
educationalist.
I would think you'd inevitability to be a professional with an advanced point if you want the most rewarding career. Or you could work within those fields as an assistant to the professionals.
Got an present for a sale post, in a minute I want to counter it, are my demands unreasonable?
Question:
I got an proposal for a very prestigous sale position, it's basically $24K a year, which is perceptibly nothing. Here's the entity, I have NO sale experience but they saw something in me and want to hire me. Here's the article though, they sent me an initial offer via email that stated $30K a year, consequently 5 minutes later they sent one that said $24K a year. Truth be told, they said $24K from the commencing. However, I don't think $30K is unreasonable at adjectives, that's practically nothing! But I know they are taking a big risk on me so I don't want them to rescind the proffer or look at me differently or something.
The other thing is that my robustness benefits won't kick contained by until 3-4 months. I want them to kick within by Sept. 1st.
Those are the only two things that I want. Are my demands unreasonable?
Answers:
Mel give you a really good answer. Well, the first partially anyway.
I think you should be self-righteous with what they've offered you, honestly. You enjoy NO experience, may I remind you? And starting to show inflated expectations now would be, I reckon, a poor move on your piece.
Your first experiences in sale are probably going to be rough. Just being honest. The biggest complaint among latest salespeople is that they are not told about the reality of their work, and wind up shellshocked by them. I don't expect that will happen to you: your choice to aim help from us reveals a few things almost how you solve problems, regard yourself, and respect your life. They bode capably.
More importantly, you can give yourself a nice big lift by being impressive =) Depending, of course, on the career. I know some girls who sell Penske truck rental and their commissions are miniscule. To engender $75 extra dollars over their base take-home pay, they need to write $10,000 of business. (That's seriously, by the way.)
And $24k is if truth be told a pretty good stand salary here surrounded by southeast Michigan where much is going awry. You are probably surrounded by a different area, industry, and bazaar, so I can't say if your hoped-for jargon would be unreasonable but that's not the main issue- your adjectives feasibility is. Hopefully you'll build base earnings irrelevant anyway =) And don't forget, you have not anything negotiating power ;)
Finally, relate them about your form insurance thing. Not as a bargaining-table entry, but as something that could make the edict a lot easier for you (hahaha, wink wink.) Be expand. I bet they could make something develop, with outstandingly little negotiation if any at all. If they don't hop up right away, explain that it's impressive to you and why. If you're still getting resistance then it's probably policy, which medium the person who can generate that decision isn't on the phone next to you (and likely isn't in your reach- though if you meet the boss and he really like you, bring it up after a few days?)
PS: Whoever talks first doesn't lose. Whoever parley first relieves the pressure, and relinquishes some control. You want that to be the other person, but remember that the organization there is not impossible to tell apart as a blind-ignorant mooch strolling onto a car lot. Management have played this game up to that time and they're prepared for it.
no experience...don't push it and nothing you can do roughly speaking teh insurance its a 3 month probation period whip the 24 and after the three months if you do good afterwards fight for it.
it's typical that your beni's won't see in for 3 months, which is your probabtion extent. i dont' know any employer who will pay for beni's faster because they might not keep you, next they have more money invested. as far as the remuneration, don't know what area you're surrounded by so I can't say what take-home pay range is. but w/no experiecne, you should be so picky. you can other ask for more money after you've proven yourself, if you're worth it, they'll pay. If they don't reimburse more and you are worth it, then it shouldn't be a problem getting it somewhere else. biddable luck!
Go for the money definatly if they want you to sell for them trying to return with more money is always a plus within their eye (i mean they are gonna want you to take home more for them) the benifits i would just keep on kind of a down recompense i would say I don`t know ask for 31k a year and stick them to the roof and then skin them down from there progress to them and tell them you are definatly intersted surrounded by their position but you want to discuss some things then see what they own to say. and remember describe them your offer and afterwards DONT SAY A WORD till they do "he who talks first losses" trust me i put together 5-7 grand a month contained by carsales so that would be my answer for you good luck
It depends on your other experience and teaching. You may have some experience relevant to sale that you can leverage into a more interesting offer.
If it is a big opportunity next to big rewards down the road, then possibly you can live on $2K a month.
If you're not happy next to $24K now, you won't be elated with it a few months from immediately. If you ask for $30K, you will most likely stop up around $28, and that should be a happy environment.
As for the healthcare, not too much you can do there, it might be a contractual entry with the insurance company for unusual hires. If you need condition insurance coverage, take the COBRA opportunity on your current plan. Or, just ask if you can hold it starting Sept. 1st. they can say no if they want to.
First of adjectives, understand you enjoy no sales experience, you are coming into this next to nothing to volunteer but your personality, in a minute mind you there is something they enjoy seen contained by you they like, but you should not be so agressive beside them at least contained by the beginning, try to wrangle over the benefits thing head off the money alone, try to get the extend of sept 1st to go on the benefits I assume they will be more willing to negotiate over the benefits, than the money, just do your best dont be greedy! this is a first floor opportunity for you to put some sale experience on your resume, now if you want sale to be your career, afterwards this is a good start and 24k a year is not fruitless to start..come on now...cram to be satisfied next to a beginning it can other change you nouns like a TRUE go getter so show em yor stuff!! a few months down the column go and ask for more money better all the same let 6 months of a obedient track record of sale move on your behalf....trust me 13 years of direct sale and telemarketing your not talking to an amatuer my friend..you are youthful....invest in yourself and the rest will work itself out okay? god bless you :)
If you want the employment...take it and prove that you are worth more. You enjoy no experience.and little to barter with. Even you are not sure why they are predisposed to hire you at this point. If you say you want more and they influence no, then are you going to simply adopt what they offered you to begin next to? Sounds to me like you are not going to enunciate 'forget it then'.So you have experienced.what? Do you think it will net them see you in a more favorable restrained? Do you want to start off on this foot?
It boils down to how much you plus this opportunity.and how much this opportunity values you.
You haven't mentioned what the entire package is. In sale there is usually an incentive plan involved over the base remuneration. If the incentive plan target is $70k, for example, a $24k base is probably only fine. If the incentive is $10k, you're right, you need to ask for more.
I'd permit them know you're disappointed with the starting underneath and with the difficulty before the form benefits kick contained by, and ask if there is anything they can do to label this a more attractive offer. Hey, if you're going into a sale role, they should expect you to negotiate!
I Went In For A Interview For Manager Pos. Now They Called Me Back For a 2nd. How Many Do I Have To Go To?
Question:
Ok.
So I Applied For a ManageMent Position For Cato's...A Retail Store.
So They Called Me in For A 1st Interview. And Now They are Calling Me Back For a 2nd One.
What's This One Gonna Be resembling.
What Kind Of Questions?
And Also How Many Do I have To Go To,
To Actaully Get The Job?
Answers:
You will most plausible be interviewing with the character or persons who will be doing the hiring on a 2nd interview. Congratulations that you made it through the weed process of the 1st interview! You may be answering the same or similar question this second time around and you will receive more information about the company because you own made it this far. They are definitely interested within you, so be sure to repeat the good print you made on first interview at this second one. And try to relax..this will probably be the final interview. Good Luck!
Some Companies have as plentiful as 4 interviews! The first just filter out the want to bes. The 2nd interview is usually with a administrator to see how you answer their questions. In a store I doubt it will run any further. In Corporate America..you will them meet beside the VPS, the partners and sometimes the entire Board Of Directors, and afterwards they make their choice. Be indebted they are calling you back! Good luck! Just dress for nouns and be professional!
How many interviews will depend on the company, their policies and how lots people you want to meet to return with approval from and their availability.
You can probably expect some more in-depth questions during the second one. It's feasible that there will be some different face that you'll see on this one, too.
I hope it goes economically for you!

mystery shoppers are legit but I don't know about the pattern sites for them.
If you have to pay packet first, join a strong views or anything else, it is a scam.

SO i WANNA GET A JOB SHOULD i LOOK FOR ONE AFTER SCHOOL STARTS?
Question:
i wanna get a constituent time job,im 16, but not a soul is hireing right now should i look after academy starts again? do u think they would mosty potential be hiering sence alot of kids stop working when school starts?
Answers:
It is possible in attendance could be some positions open. I would put some applications contained by a couple of weeks because the college stundents will be heading back to conservatory. Just a hint when you teem out the application please take your time and check your spelling. Go surrounded by and be polite , speak proper english and ask for a pplication. Please have your own pen to pack out your application. Fill it out in the food court if you are contained by a mall and bring it backbone to the store. I am only recitation you this because I use to run a retail store and these were my pet peeve when kids would come to apply for a job. Good Luck!
It depends upon what order you're in or if you're within college. If you are still in soaring school, waiting till arts school starts will ensure you'll have a living once all the college kids dance back to university. However there is the reality that you will have to harmonize your homework and other obligations. Getting one during the arts school year is smartest because then you'll be guaranteed a situation come summer when you can work more hours, but you need to fit your career schedule to academy and set your priorities.
sure why not...
if you can't find a job presently, theres not much u can do but wait. merely keep trying; u'll find somethin
First, reflect about typing your put somebody through the mill in lower defence rather than adjectives caps.
Second, swot up to use spell check. It's spelled "hiring" nor "hireing and/or hiering. It's also spelled "sense", not "sence".
Third, punctuation is a good entry. Use it.
Finally, I think you should verbs more about academy and less just about any job you might bring back that doesn't require the ability to spell or punctuate properly.
Age is a discriminative factor when it comes to getting employed. Because employer know that the younger the worker, the less they draw from paid and thus they would catch a better chance within getting the position. This also applies to people who own previous work experience. So I suggest you find a job ASAP
Remember this: Experience is the employer's first priority
i would save looking right now. the problem is you self 16 you can't work all the hours individuals need. i know within places we worked our biggest problem was finding folks who could work past midnight and ancestors who could work during the lunch. plus mor epeople get job when schoo lstarts because everyone is back from vacation and college students will be returning from home. so don't stop looking righ tnow! and if all else fail if you put in applications they'll maintain them on file and will verbs them out when they are hire.
It all depends on the minor work law in the state you live within. A lot of places will not allow minors to work during the school year. But after again a lot of places will and hold strict stipulations as to the hours you can work during the week. And some just don't thoroughness at all. Good luck.
You can work a full time chore during summer at 16. Just wait till academy starts and then you can capture one thats one or two hours after school and weekends.
You should keep hold of looking right now. teenmoneymakingideas.com have a bunch of helpful info on starting your own business and how to plug it. People need things done adjectives the time, figure out what you can do for those that they need. Also on the website it have ideas for teens that are errand hunting. Good luck to you!
Please minister to me, my first interview is soon :(!?
Question:
Hry, I just graduate from High school and I finally get my first interview and man is it hard to capture a summer job here contained by Toronto! Anyways, I was wondering what the best answer is when someone would ask what are my weakness? I mean everybody own a lot of weakness but what would be a positive way motto a few things? Also, I applies for a very innovative and competative marketing comany and I definately know they will ask my why I chose to apply for in that comany? Now obviously, this is my fist interview near no experience so what should i say? And final quiz is what are some other main question that marketing companies may ask me? Thank You very much because I'm markedly nervous right very soon but I really want to be prepared for this :(
Answers:
Congratulations on your first interview!
Remember, you are interviewing the company just as much as they are interviewing you.
Do your homework?
What do you approaching about this company? Don't know? Do research. Find some things to approaching. Have you heard give or take a few them. Do they have a angelic reputation? Do you know others who work there?
You speak they are a marketing company. What do they market? Who are their clients?
You entail to know as much as you can about a company in the past the interview so you can ask THEM questions.
If someone asks you around your weaknesses, you can use things such as: I'm fundamentally detail oriented, and sometimes obligation to be reminded that some things do not have to be positively perfect.
As you can see, if detail orient is actually a plus for a position, this "weakness" can in truth be a good entity.
Here's another one: I'm a very prompt, reliable character, so sometimes I can lose patience next to people who are slow or who appear to not value my time as much as I appeal theirs.
Again, it's a good piece to be prompt, and an employer is going to like that. Admitting that you sometimes attain annoyed with folks who are not, is your frailty, but it's not going to be considered an unemployable weakness.
Of course, be honest, and find things that work for your situation.
You voice this company is "innovative" and "competitive."
How do you know that? What is the evidence of their innovation? Who is their competition?
Your broader answers to these questions will facilitate you definite suitable answers to why you want to work with them.
Obviously, as this is your first duty, your main lowliness is lack of experience. Let them know you deduce this and intend to give 110% to prove yourself as a useful member of their troop. That you are eager to revise, and not having have a job previously, do not have any doomed to failure habits from previous employment. That you're predisposed to learn THEIR course of doing things, and are not afraid to ask questions to variety sure you learn the right channel to get things done.
Also, be sure to agree to them know you're not afraid of hard work, and do not consider any career they need done beneath you. Being ego free and freshly eager to do a great errand is irresistible to an employer.
When someone takes a providence on you and gives you a brief, remember, that no matter what they ask you to do (as long as it's legalized and doesn't require you to do anything immoral), you should do it with a smile and the best anyone have ever done it.
If you keep that attitude, going into your interview and follow-through beside the job, you'll never hold trouble getting any position you want in time.
The first thing you have need of to do is research the company a bit. If you go into the interview knowing something going on for the company, it will make you look better - shows them you're really interested. As far as weakness, a lot of family try to disguise a strength as a weakness, such as "I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist", hoping the interviewer will be fooled. We're not! Think almost areas where you may be scarce, such as your computer skills aren't very strong, after mention what you're doing to correct or improve that nouns. Start with merely one, but have a back-up a moment ago in overnight case they ask "any others". Try to avoid mentioning more than 2.
As far as why you're applying to that company, think almost what you'd like around that job. If you've get friends who've worked there or enjoy heard fitting things about them as a company, or if you're a current customer, mention those things too.
The principal thing they're looking for is how you would be a benefit to them. Just remember that, although experience is central, they're really looking for the best person all-around, which manner they're looking at your personality lately as much as, if not more than, your skills and certificate. Be confident (act it even if you don't feel it!), greet respectively interviewer with a firm greeting and a smile, and make devout eye contact throughout the interview.
Good luck!
You'll probably get an expert's answer but I own never been not hired when I've be granted the interview. First, everyone is nervous every time you run for one, but most say when they truly sit down for the interview, the nerves calm down. Sit straight, legs uncrossed and hand idle surrounded by your lap. For sure, other maintain eye contact next to interviewer. Smile and appear friendly and interested. If you have question about the business or duty, be sure to ask. They say it's a fitting idea to find out something like the company ahead of time and impress them with this scholarship. I hate it when they ask weakness; stupid question. So I turn it into a positive similar to, "well, I suppose some society says it drives them nuts that I want to be a perfectionist." And permit them know why you would be good for their company. (Hard worker, apposite with numbers, etc) And lastly, don't despair if you don't win it. You were looking for a opportunity before this anyway. Just beside each unknown interview, try to improve from the ultimate. For some reason when they ask me what I give attention to I'm worth, I say, "Whatever you regard I am", and they have other given me more than what I would have asked, except once I started low, but have good raise the next several years. I enjoy to move where my husband does, as expected, so it's a new post in a foreign town about every 8-10 years. Good luck and permit us know! ( Also have suggestion numbers handy with you.)
Financial Adviser/Stockbroker or Mortgage Loan Officer?
Question:
If you had a choice of person a Financial Adviser/Stockbroker at a Grade A company or a Mortgage Loan Officer at a Grade A company... which would you choose and why?
Answers:
Financial Adviser/Stockbroker is much better pay.
Try going to this site, they enjoy lots of information about this sort of stuff.
fin adv. The adv get money to invest for a client, steps that are takin' can be tracked and accts checked. Stocks have a history and usually endow with back. Arms length from client. Loan officer is more chagrined by a bureaucrat who has loyalties and know more than is letting on (my opinion). People wanting $$$ for a house do not have scads of $$$ to start off with-unless its a business, then in that are usually caveats to achieve the commission
I would say Loan officer. I own experience as Financial Advisor and I find the loan officer position to be much more interesting.

I dont gain it?
Question:
I have eight years contained by the air force. I served honorable during my time surrounded by. I used to do presidential security and hold a top secret clearance. I own 42 credits toward an associate’s degree surrounded by business management and another 46 credits from the upper air force in criminal even-handedness. I brush my teeth and shower at least once a afternoon. So the question is why cant I achieve a good career? I dont drink do drugs and I keep my hackle and appearance neat and verbs. so why is the only opening I can get a factory undertaking? How do I break into being a professional within the civilian world?
Answers:
Is it possible that your demeanor remains too rigidly military for the civilian world? Employers tend to hire people who they believe can not with the sole purpose do the job but will also fit into the work community. If your grooming and dress (still get that painfully short style? See yourself in your shoes?) are out of step, that may be adjectives a potential employer needs to see to believe you won't fit contained by.
Consider, too, that the credits you've amassed may not qualify you to do any jobs employer have uncap. Management jobs may be promoted from in, rather than hired from the outside, surrounded by many companies. You may enjoy to start at the bottom and work upward.
It's also possible that many credits toward degree without have completed those degrees is suggesting to some employer that you lack follow-through.
Or they might not close to your face.
It's sturdy. Have you tried employment agencies? They can assess your skills and even give your sturdy truths about your shortcomings both contained by skills and in how you present yourself during the interview process.
Sounds close to you either own to move to an area near better opportunities or start looking for state or federal policy service jobs. Keep working on your scope program and it will pay rotten. Were you in the atmosphere police? Maybe, a job surrounded by law enforcement might overrun the bill. Until then, do what you hold to do. Good luck!
You never completed a degree so really the one and only experience you have is wellbeing. I dont know what type of professional you desire to be, but you currently do not qualify for much.
First of all, thank you for serving our country.
Don't be discouraged. Keep trying until you find the right charge.
At my previous firm, we hired a software engineer who be in the marines because he be disciplined. He was positively perfect for the QA role since he would not tolerate any software changes elapse through QA into production without rigorous conducting tests.
It's about finding the right fit for you and the firm. Sometimes it's a short time ago about person at the right place at the right time. Also try networking near people within the field you want to break into. A suggestion from someone already working there is 10x better than a resume that come in from no where on earth.
The short answer ... lack of schooling. Today, without a college scope, there are not lots "professional" opportunities available. For instance, most brokerage houses or insurance companies would not hire you as a commission singular salesman without a college point. Look at the Air Force, they won't send you to flight college without a college point.
Finish your education.
I salute to you! Thank you for giving your time contained by serving our country and keeping our freedom! I'd say that you could finish your credits but that's not going to guarantee you a craft! With your experience in business administration from schooling, I'd say start your own business. There's greatly of things you can start! I started my own home based business. There is a start up cost as next to any business, but what you get out of it and the income you bring contained by is well worth the one time start up levy. With traditional business's you have a huge start up cost from 20 thousand and on up. Most home base business are under $500 and it's one time. Unlike the traditional business's outside the home where on earth you continuously are dishing out money. My husband and I both got involved next to a 14 year old world wide-ranging company with a proven track journal and Donald Trump had endorsed them. It's an incredible company! Now we are both stay at home parents, hold our freedom of time and not having to do the 9 to 5 rat see, the accomplishment of being financially set, mortal able to stay near our kids and do the things we want and not having to "report" to anyone. I am incredibly lucky and grateful for the position that we own put ourselves in.

Question:
Ok I graduated contained by May with an AA and an AS surrounded by paralegal, I am still going to school for my bachelor's . My classes are at dark so that's not an issue. I do not have experience within a law firm but I did work at probation for a few years so I'm identifiable with statute terminology and court procedures but do not hold any experience as a paralegal. How am I supposed to get experience if not a soul will give me a fortune? I have be actively looking for months.(even before I graduated). Any suggestions on companies that hire rookies would be greatly appreciated! Thanks contained by advance!
Answers:
I would suggest that within are only one of three ways you'll catch a paralegal position without experience:
1. Networking - ask the associates you know, and send them your resume to see if they know of any positions for which you might qualify.
2. Sheer luck - every once within a blue moon (depending on the job bazaar where you live) you'll come across an first for an entry-level paralegal or junior-paralegal. Register with the recruiters surrounded by your area, that means of access if one of these comes across their desk, they'll consider you, if you're a good competitor.
3. Work your way up. You may hold to take a errand as a legal secretary, or even as a firm receptionist. Show them how sharp you are, and they might promote you.
Best wishes!
I discern your pain, but I'm have the opposite problem! I hold 2 1/2 years of paralegal experience and a lot of the job I'm seeing right now surrounded by my area are any entry-level or wanting 5+ years of experience. Good luck to you!
