Probably not...lamentably or animal friends don't usually outlive us, and at some point, most vets hold to put down an animal because the animal is suffering. Horses in fussy can die cruel, prolonged deaths due to disease, broken limb, etc. Euthanasia is sometimes the kindest choice.
I understand that this may not be a choice you want to bring in. You could also consider a career as a breeder, zoologist/researcher (study animal diseases, for example), become a veterinary surgeon, etc., as anti simply opening a common practice.

unfourtunatly euthanasia is part of the commission. If you want to be a practicing veterinarian you will have to euthanize animals. I agree near the other recommendation. Check into becoming a veterinary technician. It is approaching a nurse for animals.

I want to be a veterinarian, but not one of those that help cats, dogs, rabbits, etc. but beside wildlife? Is that also what a veterinarian is? Something that would require traveling to help near different wildlife situations.

There are many job involving wild life span which do not require a degree surrounded by Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry. This website will direct you to your career interest.

It doesn't matter what type of animal that you become a doctor for you are still a Veterinarian. As far as the travell that will be your expense unless you work for the rule.
Veterinarian and a consultant to wildlife would be a nice title, and quite possibly lucrative. But, as they speak, you need the DVM first. That's not flowing at all. It's far harder to return with into vet school than dr. arts school for people.
