Jobs Which To Choose (Two Offers)?

Question:
Alright heres a personal question for EVERYONE.

I own two job offer well one hasent come pay for with the numbers however because they are looking into salary.

One profession is offering me almost $50k a year as an analyst which is a job I can do but the brief I think is one where on earth if I screw up or relations dont like me Ill be permit go. They extend deffered profit sharing, group retirement etc. A lot of offers pious money.

The second job which no numbers enjoy come back even so i think would extend far less money but would be a exchange cards admin. I would be my own boss, check my own work, I have no concrete boss as stated before and ego be basically super livelihood security. The populace are really nice there as very well. This job I know i could save for a long time. Though I dont think ego get much money growth beside it.

What would you choose and why?

Answers:
Those who can, do. Those who can't, become Project Managers and Business Analysts. They're career field for people who couldn't hack it programming or network.

I would take the Network Admin work. You pay potential is going to be MUCH better surrounded by the long run.
.
the second job seem like it might be more stable. What's the point of taking the first chore if you could be unemployed again within a matter of weeks?
I would choose the one that I can delight in more because I would not be so stressed I would be happier.
i would go for the one where on earth i would be happy. i am within a Job an i am not happy at adjectives. so be live me even if it is less money a jubilant worker is a Good worker plus what will it help you if the coworkers don't approaching you. you may be sad an miserable and what course is that to go through go. money is not everything
A happy being is a more productive one. Also who doesn't want to be their own boss. If the second offer comes through help yourself to it. Yeah having more money is angelic but, what are you going to do with it if your stressed out adjectives the time about what everyone around you is thinking? Besides money isn't everything.

I really want to be a legal representative. statute school within GA?

Question:
I really want to be a lawyer i'm not comparatively sure which field/fields of law I want to enter, but I do want to check out some directive schools ( preferably surrounded by Georgia that accepts the HOPE admit /scholarship)I do realize that a lot of associates hate lawyer and if your one of those people please dont respond and verbs to another question. If you own any suggestions about what pasture of law to check out or muse about that would be really sympathetic too ( I really dont want to be a divorce lawyer )

Answers:
First consent to me start off by motto that I do not think the Hope Scholarship applies to graduate school. You should check that our first. Second, Georgia State has a great canon program and it also caters to working students. It is the only institution in GA that have evening programs (besides John Marshall which is not ABA approved). There is also UGA, Emory (great school) and Mercer University. Hope this helps.

Job planning if you eventually want to work within the FBI (not armed forces or directive enforcement careers)...?

Question:
Aside from being surrounded by the armed forces or law enforcement, what are some pious job/career ideas if you eventually want to work contained by the FBI?

Answers:
Take a look at: http://www.fbijobs.gov

You need a four-year scope from an accredited university. The FBI used to prefer family with any law or engineering degree, but now are also looking for inhabitants with engineering and computer science degree.

If you were to thieve a job within one of these fields after you get your degree, the experience you gain would be viewed within a favorable light.

Fluency contained by a foreign language is also a big plus, specifically if it is Arabic, Chinese, or Russian, or one of the other less popular language.

You must have an unquestionably clean circumstance - you will undergo a polygraph nouns and an extensive background check. A criminal transcription or anything other than unbelievably minor drug use will probably ruin your chance of getting on beside the FBI.

Im applying for a charge as a recruiter near an IT staffing firm. What should my aim be?

Question:

Answers:
That's a tough call. Lately I've be reading that more and more resume experts are telling folks to leave the object off of the resume. Basically, the end is a given. For example, for this position your objective is to achieve a job as a recruiter and hopefully grow inwardly the industry (both in promotion and pay). You know this, the interviewer know this, so why waste the space?
.
Ideally, objectives should state your classic career objective and how the position you're applying for fits it. Employers know that you change your target statement for every job you apply for, so they tend to give the brush-off it. If I had a copy of an applicant's resume for 6 different job I'd see 6 different objectives. Essentially they're BS, everyone knows they are, so they're no longer relevant.
.
I'm contained by a hiring position. My opinion is that most "objective" statements on resumes I see are more or less as innovative as most companies' mission statements ("To be a world-class...high standard... customer service...yada-yada..). everyone wants a "stimulating position... future growth... best utilizing my skills... blah-blah-blah..."

However, if you tailor your end to the exact job you're applying for, it give the employer the notion that you are particularly interested surrounded by that specific position with that specific company, and that you're not purely spamming all charge listings with a boiler plate cover reminder and generic resume.

Personally, I only reply to candidate whose resume and cover letter is clearly tailored to the specific position I'm hiring for, and not those where on earth it's apparent I am one within a long list of other job the applicant is qualified for and applying to. I want to hire people who want to work HERE.

Also, be specific give or take a few your true career goal in language of your future beside the employer. I'd rather see someone own a goal, and drive, and specific interest or enthusiasm related to the field, than be overly concerned if their goal are not exactly in strip with my plans for them.

So I would say aloud (and I'm making this up since I'm not an IT person):
"Objective: To become an important partaker of the team at XYZ IT Staffing Firm as a recruiter, next to a focus on full-time placements in the DBA grazing land."
I agree, it does not need to be stated on the resume. But you should know what the object of the job is:

1. To establish relationships near HR Directors to provide qualified applicants.

2.To build a database of candidates to spread those positions.

My boss freshly give or take a few fired me, what should I do?

Question:
I was working and be doing my job wrong. He have told me 2 times before not to do it but I still did. Anyhow I screwed up, he said that it be my final warning. He even told everyone else I work beside what I was doing and how he be soo close to firing me. What should I do?

Answers:
Your boss needs to put those 2 warning in writing and hold you sign them. Did he do this? If not, it's your word against his. Basically, a boss can fire anyone just because. Is it official? Yes. Is it professional? No. Get everything in writing from him. He is also breaking confidentiality. I would write everything down so you can hold a case against him.
Don't do it wrong anymore.

Help!!

Answers:
Try a teacher, clergyperson, coach, somebody who know you such as an adult friend of your parents. I don't ponder they will likely even contact them for a opening like this except maybe as what we used to call "geek review" - substance they have approved to hire you and check a reference purely to see if they might say, "This kid is a lying, thieving, psychopath" or something else that bizarre.
It's not close to they are the U.S. Treasury hiring for Federal Reserve Chairman. Just put down some names of some individuals who can vouch for your honesty, punctuality, etc.
Good luck!
Put down a teacher if you can or some category of professional that you might deal next to regularly a doctor or a clergyman would be good.

Your amount means nil, however Flippers are need contained by the Yukon if you are interested. 10-12 bucks an hour is all you could earn though.
I don't ruminate you're gonna get much help out by just posting a Q on RunEye.com. We own a company in the MidEast and we own lots of filipino employees. But they go through the trouble of coming here at their own expense and going through a lot of harsh conditions. And now they hold jobs. Just because you dream up you need a position and you want to support or help your domestic, doesn't mean that you are going to gain help from any one. I reflect the filipinos that take a risk and budge abroad looking for work deserve more relief than you. Sorry, but that's how i see this.
Also, if you're looking for work and you're serious about it, at tiniest don't post with typos. It shows that you are not a serious soul and you are not dependable. It also shows that you want others to do things for you while you are not willing to do your subdivision. 'i' should be 'I'. except if you own your own comapny ofcourse!

Question:
Im 13 and im looking for a job. I involve the money to help my mom. Can anyone share me if there are any locations looking for culture to hire. I need a commission as soon as possible. I think 14 is the official age, sorry. Good luck to you and your mom.
Babysit, sell stuff on ebay, Wach pets
do stuff around the house??
Your not going to find a buisness thats going to hire you at your age. Your best bet to earn money is to babysit, and put up fliers. Or you could see around cleaning houses, but if people pay envelope to have their house verbs they expect it to be really clean. If you know anyone who already does it.. resembling one of your moms friends maybe she could hook you up next to someones house to clean. But ya best bet is babysitting.
ask your neighbor if you can mow their grass, or babysit.
you are too young to go and get a job at a franchise or store. you unanimously have to be atleast 15.
Umm capably where do u live try questioning on yahoo jobs or furnish flyers out to babysit...
Most jobs require you to be at smallest 16. I would try going around your neighborhood, if it's safe, and asking if they requirement help beside any odd job that you are able to do. Like mowing lawns, or weed, or cleaning windows, walking dogs, wash their cars. etc. This is probably your best bet. Plus you don't have to verbs about taxes and stuff.
Next year you can draw from a Job at Chik-fil-a at your local mall or shopping strip. I don't know of anywhere else that hires that childish.
if you live in california and hold a work permit check out military camp galileo $10-$40 bucks an hour (depends on your job there)
Good for you!

Hate to be a bummer, but a great deal of bigger places (as in, not privately owned) can't or won't hire til you're atleast 15, more close to 16 or even older. But try where on earth you know the people running the place; or try things resembling dishwashing or other such custodial work. I know it's not that exciting but you can apply at so many more places contained by 2 or 3 years.
secondhand stores and things like that its really thorny to get a available job at ur age im12 and it took me5 months to get a living and i had to send for lots of peeps and i hope u find one and give support to ur mum!(=
babysitting . . . i know that it is typical, but it works and you could earn as much as you charge - i charge $5 dollars an hour per kid, so it makes for fitting money. or you could do a paper route, but that depends on where on earth you live and i don't have any exp. surrounded by that area.

right luck
are u dumb in the pave the way? (sorry to be rude i apologize!) but u do know u have to be 16 to go and get a job bc u know how to drive to work. do a broadsheet route, walk dogs, go old movies and stuff, verbs pools, look for loose change contained by the sofa, lemonade and other stuff stand, etc.
Maybe you can babysit or something?

When i was around 4, my aunt open her first restaurant and she paid me $1-5 to comfort with small stuff, similar to wiping the table at the end of the time. So maybe if a ancestral member owns a small business you can gain a not official work there. :)
hi here well not paying taxes you must be 16 very well here in NYC

but you can do cleaning for citizens homes for a price like possibly basic cleaning moping cleaning kitchen stove etc.. sweeping cleaning bathroom living room for roughly speaking $50. dollars per day or you can tot sit for a price or pick up kids after school for a price . at the supermarket you can pack food walking someones dog why not try the news serious newspaper company you can deliver the papers or if you know how to bake you can boil carrot cake or anything you know how too and sale it . all right I hope you be ok with anything you do let it be bless be capably be save

How do you knob a recent demotion on a resume?

Question:

Answers:
Since a resume is typically set up chronologically by date, I would just record that employer and your highest position at that employment...then incorporate skills from both positions. You don't usually see more than one entry per employer on a resume, nor do you see pay, so no one would really know unless you specifically told them. You'll probably shutting down up having to disclose that info during an interview, a short time ago incase they do a reference check, but to get hold of your foot in the door, do what you hold to in an honest attitude, to avoid disclosing it at all on your resume.
Is it possible to refer to it as a 'reassignment' and be truthful?

My wife works surrounded by a dowel, she sometimes does a 5 hour shift, is she entitled to a rest break?she's over 18!!

Question:

Answers:
She is working for tips. She has five hours to do the business and please the customers such that she sell the greatest amount, and averages a solid 15 to 20% commission on her sales. I suppose she can take a break if in attendance is no business, or if she wants to piss bad her customers. But if she clocks in beside the intention to earn, then working firm and consistently while there is money to be made (customers at the tables) is what the available job requires.

(Incidentally, if any class of customers find they are discriminated against by people who are working knotty for tips, perhaps that class of race ought to examine their own propensity to properly leave a tip back they accuse her or those approaching her of bigotry. There is a reason why rugged working waitresses refuse to linger on certain empire, or hard working black cab drivers refuse to pick up confident fairs. And it is not just about race, or racism. It is roughly speaking tips.)
I thought you were suppose to capture at least 10 mins. every 2 hrs. Somewhere within there she should take a little down time.
After 4 hours you are entitled to a 15 minute 'paid' break, after 6 you are entitled to a 1/2 hr 'unpaid' and 8 is a 15 and a 1/2 hr, and 12 is 2, 1/2 hrs 'unpaid'
from what i get the message, you are entitled to a 15 minute break for every 4 hours that you are scheduled to work.as long as she is "on the books" and not compensated cash lower than the table.
Federal law does not require lunch or coffee breaks. However, when employer do offer short breaks (usually stable about 5 to 20 minutes), federal tenet considers the breaks work-time that must be paid.

Bona fide collation periods (typically stable at least 30 minutes), serve a different purpose than coffee or snack breaks and, thus, are not work time and are not compensable.
Personally feel that she's entitled to a break. But I used to work in a lump doing 7-9 hr. shifts and wasnt allowed to have a break any
Check out the US Department of Labor website. A commenter above me apparently did, and copied and pasted from the website into his comment.

Typically, I enjoy found that most employers allow a 15 minute break on a 4 hour shift. Of course, that will depend on whether or not the flow of business will allow it.

Is it official for your employer to confiscate your cell phone?

Question:
my girlfriend was checking the time on her cellphone at work and her "superior" asked her to impart it to him
she did but i was merely wondering if he has any right to ask for it

Answers:
I looked this up because it's a apt question and I required to know for just contained by case any official did this to me. The only policy a company can enjoy is they will conduct random search of a persons desk, locker room, and other workplace nouns. But an employer or boss cannot confiscate personal property from an employee during a turn upside down or like your girl who be just holding her phone he or she patently had no right to touch her property and confiscate it. It's illicit. He should have a short time ago told her to go put it away and check out of it in her purse or rucksack or whatever she carry to work. Like someone wrote if they have an HR department she requirements to report this.
No this isn't high-school. Her superior could of simply just told her to find of of it, by right thats is her property
does the company have a stated policy of no cell phones at work? if so, later yes.

since you didn't state the kind of work place and mission she does, there is some possibility that the nouns was a deposit reason.
Absolutely NOT. Call the police and report the aggravated burglary (that's essentially what it is) the moment it happens! If the employer in reality yanks it out of your foot, then report them for mobile charges as well.
I would speak about her to check her company's policies on these things. (talk to HR)

It sounds like he be be-rating her.

Once in my company one of the personnel was touching another body cell phone (as a joke, pretending to generate a call) she turned him in and he be wrttten up for touching personal property that didnt belong to him

If I were her I would report it
I couldn't really find anything on the trellis, but generally if a company doens't own an official policy against cell phone use, afterwards he had no right to hold her phone. Its her personal property.
In the future, I'm pretty sure she can formulate a stand and simply tell him 'no', next remind him to perhaps consider making a policy contained by regards to cell phone use.
yes it is but they own to return it at the end of the shift.
when u tied the company you would have signed afew forms u may hold signed a part that say cell phones are not allowed if so yada yada so yeah it is possible he is allowed to pocket it
The answer to your question lies surrounded by the work policy manual at Magic Mountain or whomever her employer is. Employers DO enjoy the right to confiscate cell phones if so stated in their hand manual.

If the employer considers the phone a indemnity risk or just does not want them used on premises, they hold every right to make such a determination. Of course, the employer should return the phone to her at the wind up of her work shift. Needless to say, she should not bring it or use it again surrounded by violation of company policy.

OK all right im 16 years hoary an wen i acquire elder i would approaching 2 become a CEO.. wat can i do immediately to prepare 4 the post

Question:
What can i do to get started and within the right path to be within the business world because this is my dream job...any college accepted wisdom too that would be of help to gain to this job... and please no rude unwanted answers that dont answer my sound out thanx!

Answers:
Determine the field of business you want to be contained by and then draw from a four year degree next to that field person the center of your electives as well as your core. A broad business degree could suffice. It would be best if you worked within the industry at the same time, even if lately part time. A MBA, is simply about mandatory, and a fatty amount of accounting would be great. It is proven that more CEO's have an accounting conditions than any other field, so getting your CPA along near a MBA would really work to your advancement. If you are employed in the pasture most companies that see that you are talented will transport you back to college for the subsequent two degrees, or permission you to work a semester and then stir to school for a semester, until you complete your training. This is called the co-op program, (go to college awhile and work awhile). On job training after a rudimentary college degree is in recent times as important, but for more than the education. The amountof rearing you have over other potential human resources trying for the same advancement will be a separation factor. For example, if you enjoy only a four year scope, and another competitor for the job have a MBA, they would get the promotion, considering that everything else be about equal, and if someone have both and was also a CPA, consequently they would probably get the nod. A statute degree would be great along near a MBA, with starchy accounting courses, and even without a CPA the attorney, would probably seize the nod. I am basing this on huge corporate strutures, because it is a very competitive and political world and even beside all these certificate it is the person that have the best presentatin of themselves to the board of directors and other senior management personell that will grasp the jobs that will front to the CEO job. I am a CEO, but I own my own business. I enjoy all the facet and degrees but that doesn't be determined I could become a CEO at another company, in the event that I sold or closed my business. Compare it to getting into the assembly room of fame for football or baseball, and consequently think in the region of all the players that played within high conservatory. The chances are probably smaller quantity to become a CEO of a major business, than getting into one of those corridor of fames.
Learning how to write properly will definitely give a hand.

Being a CEO will take years of buttkissing, climbing the corporate stepladder, grunt work, and a damn good tuition. In college, it would be wise to highest in business but choose a concentration such as Economics, Finance, Management, etc. Following that, it would be clever to consider getting your MBA.

Have your dreams and hopes, but also be realistic. A CEO is tough work, not just focal bucks and jet setting around the world. Good luck.
Take business classes within college and do internships at different companies .
Plan on going for the MBA because lots of relations already have the plain Bachelors contained by Business .
AND , FYI . . . if you are already skittish about rude answers , CEO is Not the type of profession you will be able to fiddle with . They need to hold serious backbones and Never be the crybaby type .
Just similar to athlete's exercise their muscles, the brain is a muscle, and to get it stronger and stronger you own to exercise it. Join various scholarly clubs if you are able, lift challenging classes that will work your mind, and surrounded by your classes, get top grades, ask your instructors, when they go to college, what study habits worked best for them, and also ask how accurate of students they were. Read respectively chapter 3 times, learn how to study together, find out which are considered the better business college's.
Good Luck!
First, please entry that I do not intend for this to be impolite but merely honest. My first suggestion would be to use punctuation and spelling checks on your written correspondences. Misspelling words such as "when" and "what" and using numbers instead of words reflect a strong level of silliness. A CEO would never use this language within any correspondence. If you truly wish to work within a business environment, you need to convince yourself that you are a professional. Once you enjoy convinced yourself of this, you need to convince others. Though simply sixteen, you are fully capable of shooting up your communication skills and fully capable of presenting yourself as a professional. Good luck to you.
You can receive plans even a few investments! *YEAH*

I obligation to enjoy a pep gossip beside my assistant. And i entail some pointers?

She's alittle ditzy and not very focused. I don't want to be plan, but I want to get my point across.

Just be nice to her and try not to be bossy. Make her twig that you are doing it so that she would do a better job.

Peace and blessings!
Don't try to run over 12 things in your discussion

Pick out 3 things you want to chitchat about and stick to them

My experience is that folks will one and only remember 3 things anyways

And don't make it a long discussion - the shorter the better beside two examples

One other thing - don't be afraid to be a bit be a sign of - some folks don't get the point afterwards - and understand she will be a bit miffed - doing it on a Friday is sound!
I agree with roadrunner, but also counter next to some of her good points; surely she have some!

Denied employment base on where on earth I live?

Question:
Recently, I was denied a medical work in Sacramento. When I call for an interview by the doctor's assistant, my location(which is an hour drive) was apparently not an issue. HOWEVER, during the group interview near the actual doctor, my location seemed to be a leading issue. I was outstandingly questioned on where on earth I lived and if I was planning on moving, because she thought the drive be too far. And that was necessarily the end of the interview for me. I grain that it if my location was such a big issue, that I should enjoy never been call for an interview and a lot of time be wasted. Can I step to the better business bureau about this or should I in recent times forget it?

Answers:
You should just forget it. This is incontestably not a situation in which the BBB would own interest. The BBB only have interest in fraudulent business practice. You be not defrauded contained by any way.

While it might hold been appropriate and thoughtful for the physician practice to state that living in a certain distance of the bureau was a requirement, it is not a requisite that they do so.

To those who are suggesting that you own an EOE complaint, you do not. Distance from the place of employment is not a 'protected class' under any objective labor and hiring rules.
Do you really want this job? Do the benefits outweigh the costs if you pursue this?
File a complaint next to the BBB and with the labor board contained by your county. You can do this with both companies on-line. Though in that may be nothing that can be done legitimately it may make them stop and reckon about what they are doing to the subsequent person! Sorry you did not return with the position but there is a foundation for everything. You may have that dream brief right around the corner that you would have missed if you have gotten this position!
Greatest of luck to you on your career seach!
Sounds approaching you have a key EOE issue for discrimination !! That is to influence you are looking at a Federal level complaint !! The BBB cannot give a hand you with a problem of this type.
They be probably concerned that with such a long driving stint, that if you hadn't plans of moving, that at some point you would start looking for a career closer to home.

That would mean loss of time and money within training you, and drop on operations while finding a replacement.

The BBB will enlighten you there isn't a satchel here, and the Labor Board will tell you that it is their peroggative to choose someone that lives closer.
Better Business Bureau have nothing to do near these types of issues. BUT being rejected for a career because you are an hour away may be an issue. Contact the department of labor they'll be able to better insist on you.
