A contract can be a spoken agreement and is legally binding, and both you and your employed honoured the contract.i.e. you turned up to work, and they salaried you in return...however, the Employment Rights Act 1996 does state that your employer have to provide you with a written statement of language and conditions within the first 8 weeks or 2 months of employment.so infact, they are contained by the wrong already.
In addition, immediately that they have given you this bright contract, check that is states that your continuity of employment. This resources that it is stated on your contract that you started working there 16 months in advance. This is more important than you may surmise it is, because after 1 year of service, you are entitled to many more employment rights (i.e. the right to claim undeserved dismissal) and after 2 years you have the right to redundancy severance. Therefore, if they state that your contract starts from tomorrow, and you agree to it, you will hold lost all your employment rights that you hold accrued contained by the last 16 months...(in supplementary to any additional company benefits such as company sick remuneration, additional holiday etc).

Why not find a different job which still allows the flexibility for study time and arts school that isn't the gas station or the UPS job? I can recount you now, I know a guy who didn't work for UPS and he would show up to class on time, every afternoon, every week and had great grades-- and even tutored me. After he took a opportunity with UPS, his erudite performance started to suffer weakly and he had already withdrawn from partly his classes midway through the semester.

I want to venture into Human Resources direction. I have be an Office Manager and Senior Executive Assistant for over 14 years, having done tons of interviewing, recruit and benefits dispersal during that time. I have a few college credits, no more than that. And they're adjectives from 1986-7.
Because my husband and I are considering a move to Irvine, CA, I am concerned about entering a different job bazaar without a current credentials to put on my resume.
I have spoken to several colleges - online and off-line, as in good health as recruiters at about 12 agencies. And, after adjectives that research I realize the advice be split about 40-60 between pursuing a Bachelors within Human Resources and pursuing Certification in Human Resources Management. I am uncap to either, though would really prefer the Certification - far more specific.

I have never regretted my conclusion to go into this area. No two days are ever the same... I've have days where near was markedly little bench work to be done and other days where here was no time for a break of any loving. Regardless of the day, I know that I did something to serve someone -- maybe even release a life. The foot -- pay is upright, and could be excellent (signing bonus) depending on where you live. The hours -- all right, hospitals are open 24/7 and so surrounded by the lab. Frequently, when starting out you work an off shift -- evenings or night. And you weekends and holidays too. It is a good corral, not right for everyone, but worth investigating.
I've been doing this work for going on for 9 years now and it's great. It depends on what you delight in. The most intriguing department MAY prove to be Microbiology because Biochemistry and Haemotology are very automated...Micro B's more "lab-like".
