Who would hire me?
Answers:
I have worked heaps fast food job where they will consent to 14 year olds work. The situation is that you can't work very abundant hours and there is closely you can't do (like handle a sharp baulk -- legally i.e..)
Try your local fast food restaurant. McDonalds, Burger King or Arby's are places that purloin a chance on younger workers.
You will obligation to show them that you have Grit, Determination, are a inclined worker (not just someone who wishes money) and are willing to work harder than you are required. There are a bunch of family wanting jobs, so you enjoy to prove you are better.
Be confident when you fill out the application. Ask to appendage it directly to the manager on duty. Go within to fill out the application dressed other (nice jeans and a collared shirt work well, or dockers and a collared shirt) as though you be going to get an interview.
As to the 16 yr. weak thing -- some states don't allow you to work below 16, but since you have the warranty, you are allowed.
They can't hire anyone under 16. You will enjoy to be inventive until you are at an age where a company will pilfer a chance on you. What roughly camp counselor, dog perambulator, help for senior citizens, etc? Seniors stipulation help next to really simple things sometimes, like moving boxes around or drawing or stuff around the house.
Can you fix computers small engines or electronics?
What can you do?
Childcare?
Can you help out where on earth your mom or dad or siblings or relatives work?

I think the larger cross-question is "why do you need to preserve your possible employer from knowing your past?" Yeah, simply make some crap up. Hell, for extra ball call it VanDelay Industries.
Not a profession that anyone would want
Just say you be self-employed on your own for a while. Just pick something you know a little in the region of. Say, like fixing cars within your garage! Or tutoring people how to fish.

Answers:
Hey!
I'm 15 and a half. A year ago (at 14 and a half) McDonald's hired me! I live within the Bay Area myself. Depends on what franchise you go to, though. Some may hire at 14, some at 18. Depends on the owner.
I'm looking for work this summer, and it's so tough because they want 16, 16, 16! UGH!
Like I won't be able to do anything within 2 years that I can't do now...UGH!
I guess it's because of the stupid insurance companies...
But, yeah. Try McDonald's! It can be a offensive, fast-paced job, especially if you work the front desk and drive-thru (AND if here aren't enough staff.) Learning your channel around the point-of-sales (electronic register) machine can be exceedingly difficult, but I caught on in around a week. Customers can be rude, but generally, they are nice. I hatred the uniform...lol. Also, doing ice cream cones can be difficult! =)
christiansoldier92@yahoo.com <--------- email me if inevitability more info!
Edited: Oh and by the way, you'll inevitability a work permit. First, procure a work permit application (should be green, but I'm not sure going on for where you live) from your college, get it signed by the appropriate individuals (school, parents, employer), and then turn it into where it says to turn it contained by on the application. Being 14 and 15, we can only work trustworthy hours (during the summer: 7am to 9pm June 1 until Sept. 1, any other time 7am to 7pm. when school is within session: on schooldays, 3 hours per day. on non-schooldays, 8 hours per daytime. weekly max is 18 hrs. when school is not contained by session: daily max 8 hrs wkly max 40 hrs.)
Go to your city lecture theatre and inquire about a work authorization. You have to be 16 to justifiably work, but I believe you can get a charter at 15. That's how it was usually done when I be a teen, but that was a long time ago. Good luck.
my guidance is dont work fast food. i did and it took away from studying and personal time depending on the amount you aspiration to make. within is a cap to the amount of hours that you may work but it still take away your time from more important things at your age. try the grocery stores or anything but hurried food. STAY IN SCHOOL KIDS!

The pay is dignified for a reason. The Afghanis don't close to outsiders; their entire history shows this. As far as they are concerned Americans (in uniform or not) are invaders.
They tend to enforce their dislikes in a remarkably violent mode. Consider the high recompense you're being offered to be hazardous duty pay packet.
The risk? From recoverable injury to loss of limb to loss of enthusiasm. Make sure your burial insurance is paid up.
especially dangerous to run there because they not helpful,

I want to be a chef?
Question:
Well, I'm starting college for the first time this fall to become a Social Worker, I already to some extent paid my first semester tuition, but presently I'm having second thoughts going on for it. I've always have a passion surrounded by food, I just never thought I could build enough money person a chef (I dont think Social workers even catch paid much)... but money isn't too elevated on my priority list, I'd resembling to have a art that I'd enjoy and not only because it pays well... is it too belatedly to change my mind? I'm thinking nearly getting a refund beforehand school starts and applying to a nice cooking academy.
Answers:
It's totally never too late to get that transition towards what you're really passionate roughly. Don't keep going through the motions of going to arts school to become a social worker if that's not really turns your knobs, you know? (Don't catch me wrong - I think it's massively admirable of those to go for these positions)
Since your arts school hasn't started yet, I'm sure nearby are ways to get a full reimbursement. Most schools merely cut down your refund or waste refunds if classes own already begun.
School-wise, I occasionally see an TV poster for Le Cordon Bleu culinary schools & I expect they have several US locations. Someone I know is attending near right now and they really close to it, and are learning profoundly. I think this arts school has a pretty honest reputation, but just to be sure I regard it would be wise to do some online research. Maybe even look into overseas culinary school? Europe has SO much to bestow when it comes to food!
Hope I was of give a hand, best of luck to you and your dreams of becoming a chef!
Cooking and being a chef are two totally different things. Go check out a culinary institute if you're interested.
I would shift for it. I wanted to do one and the same thing, and didn't. Go near your passions, you'll never regret it.
If that is to say what you would like to do by adjectives means switch to another course.
Peace and blessings!
No, not even close to too overdue. Also, if you were starting next to a career as a social worker and varying to a chef you should make more money, possibly significantly more. While in that is no potential for high paying job as a social worker, the top level chefs can emergency a lot of money.
Quit arts school and go to work surrounded by a restaurant.
If you still love it after 2 years, look into culinary school.
Culinary arts school is for people who are already contained by the profession.
You High School guidance councilor will tell you different but s/he have never really worked in the legitimate world.
See what credits are transferrfable, see how making a switch to culinary arts could affect your financial aid / or finances period.. pursue what you wanna do ChefboyareMAX! perfect luck !!

Question:
Volunteer work in a kitchen for two years; applying for a tangible job within a restaurant?
Answers:
It's not embarrassing to enjoy been a volunteer.
Just as it is not an awkwardness to work for minimum wage.
of course you can. it's alike as doing an internship. you can you that when you get to the "experience" on your resume.
I would muse that volunteer work, if extensive (more than 5 hours/week) would be fine to list as experience, especially if you're going for a duty in food service. It applies for a assignment. It was a job--but you donated your time.

I other encourage individual to schedule volunteer work on their applications and/or resumes!! Many times this volunteer work is far more demanding than some paid positions! Take the opportunity at the interview to explain the position and ALL that you did while you be doing it. Volunteerism is a very arresting attribute to most HR reps too! Make your donation of time and energy work for you!
Best of luck to you!!
JT
Yes put it surrounded by your resume. People who voluntneer are often the best workers.
This is unequivocally something you want to put on your application or resume. If the applications asks for other experience (besides work) I would put the information there.

I am currently pursuing my associate level surrounded by information systems, is it a honest Field.?
Question:
Answers:
An AS degree within IS will put you at about like peas in a pod level as current big school former students as they are required to take hardware/software classes and some run more than required.
If you want to be in the industry than you hold to specialize in software engineering. The corral is flooded with college former students who earned nonspecific IS or IT degrees.
I would speak it can be a reasonably upright field (I used to be within IT, which is usually the same item as IS). I would recommend acquiring a Bachelors Degree at some point, to know how to take full positive aspect of your knowledge and skills.
