I have be on disability and I have not worked for some time. As I start looking for work, employer tell me I am automatically not qualified because I do not own any recent experience. I had a trauma injury and I hold worked very easier said than done in Physical Therapy to revolutionize myself. Can Employers disqualify me on that basis alone? Is at hand anything I can do? I am working with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation also. Isn't this against the Americans near Disabilities Act? How can anyone on disability go stern to work if they are automatically disqualified for not having recent experience. It say clearly on the job requirements that you own to have recent experience.

Many other folks may not have recent work experience within a particular area - stay at home parents who are returning to work, workers such as yourself who took time off to get better from injuries/illnesses, retirees who want a second career, military veterans, etc.
In codicil to taking the classes (which is a good article to pursue), consider temp work, volunteer work, and/or part time work to build up your resume. All of those things will aid to show recent work activity.
