RN Question?
Question:
I am 1 year into a 2 year RN associates degree at my local community college. I enjoy a strong interest in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. I don't really want to jump into a Master's Program for Althetic Training at the moment. Does anyone know if there are sports medication positions for RN out there? Do sports team hire RN's to work the training staff? Or is it mostly limited to Sports Medicine Offices?
Answers:
As an RN you will find that employment opportunity exist in several organizations. But in that are some caveats.
Experience. If you want a nursing position working sports pills, you must realize that the best way to take such a job is to enjoy some experience in it. I can just assume that you currently have no experience. So after graduation, try to obtain a job within an orthopedists office. This will return with you some basic stratum experience.
Sports teams. If you want to work for an athletic troop, you have to realize that who they hire is directly related to the person's training, experience, height of responsibility, and most of all their budget. As an RN you will be inside the budget if they are looking at MDs vs PAs vs RNs. If they are looking for someone who can place casts on fractures after this is not really a job to be exact within your latitude of practice.
Look around and make inquiries. What you are interested is for sure possible, you may have to settle for routine nursing within a hospital or clinic for a year or 2 to get some deep-seated experience first.

At a work even-handed, what is the best instrument to present your resume and broadsheet work (ie: folder, stapled, etc)?
Question:
I am going to a teaching assignment fair and be not sure if employers are going to want simply the paperwork to produce it easier for them to access, or whether the presentation is important as powerfully. Should I include a photo of myself?
Answers:
When attending any job just or interview, always, other, always own a resume on hand.
My husband is a National Parts Distribution Manager for an automobile initiator and when he brings home resumes he hands them to me to read.
They are interested within: training, work experience, and volunteer work THAT IS RELATED TO THE JOB YOU ARE SEEKING, and awards related to the job and reference from people that are well-versed about your work or training. On the bottom of your resume put "References Available Upon Request". Most employer don't check references until you enjoy passed through other interviews in their company. At that time, they will ask you for reference.
I would present it in a clear Presentation Folder to be precise lightweight and stands out from the rest. Too many times I own seen resumes that are dirty from coffee, food, mud, etc and are difficult to read. The clear presentation dissertation preserves the resume and shows that you care plenty about the position, the reviewer and yourself to present yourself surrounded by a positive light.
Also, trademark sure you dress appropriately for the job generous. Most people don't suppose about that when attending, but the employer are looking at the total package you present - including yourself.
YOU are the presentation. Rehearse any possible question that someone may ask. Don't hem and haw or say "I dunno" or "yea" or "uh huh". A simple YES or NO is what the employer are looking for. Look the interviewer in the eye and donate a firm handshake. Don't set aside more information than is asked. There will be time at a later interview to reveal more information. Make sure you know what you want, what you are predisposed to do and what is important to you. Interviewers revulsion it when the first question asked is "how much does this pay" "how much time off do I get". Those are considered perks and can be discussed at a then time.
Make sure that you present yourself in the best possible wispy and make sure your resume highlights your accomplishments. When the employer know that you are taking this serious, they will take you serious.
Good Luck!
Staple your resume and other testimonial together. Keep about 20-25 copies within a folder. There's no need to include a photo of yourself. Why? Employers don't precision about how you look within a photo, they just strictness about your diploma, experience, and whatever else you can do.
A few suggestions--
1. First, to answer your examine, I'd print your paprwork on high-quality quality newspaper, keep them flat, and paperclip them together. Presentation is important-- if you own a lot of papers, you might even fashion a professional-looking cover sheet.
2. Nah... don't include a photo. I know it might SEEM like a right idea-- but it's a touchy subject these days near HR offices. With so tons people suing for age/race descrimination.. it's probably better you don't attach a picture. If you want, join some professional-looking clip-art, that might add to the ocular appeal of your paperwork-- and make it stand out.
3. I'd also border a philosophy statement to include with your paperwork-- I know a of of places don't ask for it, but most will include it beside the paperwork-- and then when it get closer to picking actual candidates-- it will be noticed.
Good luck to you at the situation fair!!

It all depends. If you are a self-motivated type personage and can stay focused on your work and not get side tracked next to
other things (like eating snacks, catching the report, playing games on the computer, etc.) then working from home is great. Most companies that submit home based job are usually for professionals or sales related positions.
However, if you stipulation supervision to "keep you on task", consequently don't consider this type of position as you will likely come to nothing to meet expectations.

Do you mean moraly or physically. Depends what the work is. If it's cosher step for it, I do it and fit it in near my home life. It's tricky work coz you have to really push yourself sometimes but when the money comes contained by thats the reward, I just contemplate hey I made that money when i would probably have in recent times vegged out watching telly
It all depends on you. If your motivated to succeed, own a reason for nouns, and want to succeed, then yes for a home base business, not a job. You won't engineer a sufficient amount of money doing a "job" They defeat the purpose that majority of those work from home. You still have time lines, inert lines, a boss, etc. Home based business's you don't. It's more convenient for you. I love my home base business and the income it brings!

How to answer the infamous "How do you business deal near a difficult customer?"?
Question:
I always come across to blow it during an interview when that infamous "How do you deal near a difficult customer?" question comes up. Like the interviewer wishes me to add more and will distribute me that confused look. I think I'm answering them throughly but apparently not. What are some ways I can answer that lacking getting shot down at interviews?
Answers:
With great patients. Listening respectfully till the customer has finished vent. Offer all the solutions that are available through me. If not sufficiently expert to satisfy the customer, reassure the customer that things will be worked out and aim guidance from my supervisor. If no compromise can be reached turn the customer over to my supervisor. If none available pass them the corporate head billet number.
Always do but know how to work around icky situations
Give him the confused look back at him
I listen to the complaint and find a resolution. If I cannot resolve the problem or am not authorized to contribute the customer what they want I alert a manager. If no commissioner is available at the time I take the customers information and enjoy a manager contact them.
<this is my answer, and also what I look for when hiring>
Step one - Listen to the customer - tolerate them know that you understand what they are upset nearly.
99% of the time and upset customer just desires someone to listen -
Step two - offer the customer a solution if one is available.
(if the co' stopped making their favorite item, narrate them about a untried one that is similar)
Step three - follow through. If you proposition a solution - make sure that it happen - leave the customer sense satisfied - they are an noteworthy key to business.
The rule is that one angry/upset customer tell 10 people nearly their experience - those 10 people retell the story and so on and so on . Upset customers = doomed to failure business publicity.
Always treat the customer with this contained by mind
treat them with firmness, fairness, near diginity and with respect
that will other get through
First you listen to the customer and you assure them that you will do every point you can to fix the problem. And if the situation needs an a apology speak your sorry. And write down the problem in front of the customer and ask them if they would close to to see it or even sign it because the customer is always right. depends on the situation
Tell him that essentially, your customer should other be right, because when a customer has a fruitless experience, they tell 7 populace, when they have a worthy experience, they only surpass the word on to two. You need to assess the situation, and see if here is an easy track to make the customer jubilant without breaking any company rules or regulations. If you are not competent to handle the problem, afterwards you should tell the customer that you are sorry you can't do anything, but if they will tender you a minute you will speak to your manager on their behalf.
An answer close to that tells the potential employer that you want the customers to be cheerful, but you respect company policy and aren't going to be giving stuff away to everyone who complains. Good Luck!
depending on what type of job..usually its along the dash of being friendly and have the "Customer is always right" procession it they prove to be very diificult hold the manager or someone step surrounded by
I've never had that one thrown at me but I enjoy had,"Tell me give or take a few a difficult situation you had contained by your personal or work life and how you handle it?" I think they are asking this press to see how well you feel people - are you become quiet, reasonable, sympathetic? I would give an example of how I handle a bad work situation or personal situation, for instance, "Well, I used to own a co-worker that just didn't want to appear to get along beside me, and we sat down and have a talk and straightened out what be wrong. She felt that I didn't approaching her, and I assured her I did. After that we got along basically fine." Let them know that you know the customer's always right, you are hushed and reasonable beneath all circumstances, and that you run to a higher authority if near is something you cannot handle.
The agency to handle this situation is to report to them what you think should surface .
Give a brief out line of what you would do near a selected scenario .
At the wrapping up ,,ask them what is their policy and what you would be expected to do.
Show them that you want to go by their rules,,not yours.
Be long-suffering, just make conversation him with lessons, like if he be a gentleman, be a woman and will understand that he is wrong.
As a customer service agent working near people everyday i other sympathize with the customer and empathy is other a plus. Sometimes just aphorism " im so sorry let me see how i can serve " is enough to at lowest put the cust of his/her need to be overly aggressive beside thier demands. We all want to know that someone is listen and is willing and competent to take guardianship of an issue that we cannot resolve ourselves. Just sounding confident in your competence to take contemplation of them and reassuring them is the key-usually.
look at them streight surrounded by the eyes and just do you situation
I have be asked the same quiz many times within my interviews. What I say is If that should arise that I would first and foremost provide the customer near what ever option is available for example checking another store calling around ect. Try and run out of your way and receive them see that you are trying your hardest to please the customer. Also say something approaching I would be calm, sincere, apologize if needed, be faithfully interested in the customer concerns.
powerfully ask how are they difficult? are they want to return a merchandise thats broken and you dont want to take it put money on because if you do youll take a loss or is it something where on earth they come in beside madness and they want their money back-if thats the case- next tell then- did your merchandise attack you or something? and only just have i found a customer thats set to break something unless its the first case where on earth the merchandise is broken when it is bought and the store doesnt want to take it rear. first ask something like how be your day customer...or notify a funny joke- did you hear what i heard today..basically to lighten up the customer.
Is Bankfers Life & Casualty Co worthy company to work for?
Question:
I just get call from them today for interview subsequent week. I would like to know if anyone have worked for that company and what was your experience. Bankers Life is an insurance company specializing surrounded by selling term insurance, enthusiasm insurace, annuitiesm medicare supplement for seniors. Looks like immensely legitimate company, more than Primerica or Vector Marketing or Amway.
They call me to come for interveiw and bring my copy of resume and dress professionally.
But it does not look as good as State Farm or Blue Cross Blue Shield. Certainly their products are controlled. The thing that I see wan flag is that when they called me, they did not bring up to date for what position I would be interviewed. It does look like I will be interviewed for Dutch auction on commission. It is Ok, I may try as long as I won't have to earnings for training or license. It would waste of time and money. Also another turn-off would be for me to engender cold-calls and visit homes. Anyway who desires strangers at home?
Answers:
Anyone say straight comission. It's a great profession if you don't want to make money. Primerica is roughly equal thing tender or take near the advantage of offering something that those may actually want. Also Primerica is something you can do on the side so it's possible that you can be doing something else at matching time. I can't say Bankers Life is a scam but it's not promising somewhere where you'll find a craft and for that matter neither is Primerica. State Farm, Prudential, Allstate are adjectives similar in humour where you'll work reall easier said than done for a real long time and if (theres a indisputable big IF) you survive long enough you'll manufacture a reasonable living.
If you hold a pulse Bankers Life and Casualty wants you. They can pretend adjectives they want but as long as you are currently on the 10 most wanted inventory you're hired. There shouldn't be any real significant upfront. I deem I paid for a class to seize licensed and then I realize that I made no money for the rest of the time. I didn't lose a ton of money but it was a complete spend foolishly of my time.
Bankers Life & Casualty is one company out of a pool of hundreds in the financial services industry. Early within my career I spent to much time looking at the company and not adequate time considering something more important, "the people". With adjectives companies you will find good advisors/brokers and also poor ones. As long as you are working beside a good solid company focus on personal nouns. I would highly recommend visit a website called http://www.naifa.org. This is the largest trade group of financial service professionals. Companies that promote participation next to NAIFA should earn special attention. Focus on developing yourself and you will find the carrier become less and smaller amount the issue. Remember one important rule. Companies production "our" products. It is the skilled advisor that understands that financial service products are a tool just for us to use in practicing our craft. You will find excellent advisors within about every company out within. Diligently pursue your LUTCF or FSS professional designation from The American College in Bryn Mar, PA. These programs will increase greatly your aptitude to stay in our industry those first 3 years. Working below a manager to be exact a member of GAMA (General Agents and Managers Association) can also provide some extra serve as well.
I would also try and find your agitation first. Is it healthcare? Investments? A mix? Determining this first can also help you select working near a company that specializes more in this.
Back to Bankers Life & Casualty. This company have a unique niche and focus contained by the senior market and have good products that include Medicare Supplements, Long Term Care, unalterable life products, and other products typically geared for elder people. If this is not what you hold a strong interest in I would recommend looking at another financial service company. The "blues" by the channel is a great place to start. Look at another company called Unifi. This might be a great fit. http://www.unificompanies.com
I hope this help.

Is a low gross the norm for sale + commission sale spots?
Question:
I'm moving into a position that involves some "soft" sales. There's a net base and commission bonus pick. The salary underneath would barely cover my current rent after taxes, but since the livelihood comes with a residence and potentially some utilities I wouldn't be living out of a cardboard box.
I am coming surrounded by from a different career so I'm for a while nervous roughly speaking this move. That is a normal response, don't you have a sneaking suspicion that? Overall the package is great, but some much of the contribute is promised and wrapped in "potential."
I know you're supposed to push within salary negotiation, but I only just don't want to push so much I push myself out of the door. I guess I usually have some reference for stuff like this and right immediately I'm blind. I've already negotiated an apartment which wasn't sector of the original concordat. Question: In salary negotiation how do you know when to right to be heard when? Do you just ask until you come up against a No? As the pot sweetens when are you of late seen as greedy?
Answers:
When considering if an bestow is acceptable, you obligation to weigh all of the situation benefits, not just the pay. Things to keep surrounded by mind are the residence you refer to and the other items in the roll offered.
In salary negotiation, be honest beside yourself and with your employer. If you know the salary just isn't satisfactory to satisfy you, next you're just delay the inevitable job translation by settling for less. However, if your expectations are unreasonable, conceivably you need to re-evaluate what you should truly be remunerated.
Low salary normally comes with commission base positions. This is to motivate sales staff to provide more. If the salary is too giant, there is no motivation to realize more.
Good luck on your decision.
