As far as working within hospital, based on my restricted experience getting ANY kind of nursing amount will get you into the medical pen because the demand is so great.. A B.S. within nursing would be best, but a Medical Assistant diploma or degree (depending on what state you are in) will almost assuredly bring you a job surrounded by a hospital..
