A friend of mine just call me and was adjectives upset regarding an incident that happen at work today. She is a Certified Nursing Assistnant and was accuse of negligence. She said she was helping a co-worker go for a dip another resident. Well in the indicate time one of the resident's was not repositioned in the 2 hrs. What I don't understand is why another character could not reposition him. I understand that they be not assigned but they knew she be helping a co-worker. Basically it was reported to the Dept. Of Health. What happen after that? Will she lose her licenses? Will she enjoy to go to court? Does anyone know?

While the 2 above answers are right, I twig the hospitals point. Regardless of what you are doing, you are responsible for the patients assigned to you. She could have turned that tolerant before starting on the tub of the other. Breakdown is the term used for decubitus or bed sores. Try sitting on your hand for even 5 minutes without moving or shifting position. Very painful...so conjure how these people consistency who cannot reposition themselves. She probably won't lose her job if this is her first disciplinary incident.

Im not good at it anymore and Im burned out.

I'm an elementary don who has qualified poor kids in inner city school and have skilled rich kids in both private and upper middle class public school. I understand 100% what you're going through. A few comments: 1) I well-educated how to leave college work at school to prevent me from burning out. I've mostly skilled middle school. 2) If you're burned out edification kids who don't care, try edification in a wealthier community where on earth the parents push and support their kids more than the community you're in. Personally, I enjoy teaching surrounded by tougher schools but did see heaps students that didn't care and didn't take support from home. Also, I always thought that the best and... worst teacher work in the tougher school. Essentially, many of those kids that "don't care" hold no adults looking out for them and while you will reach smaller number of them than in a "better" university, the differences you make surrounded by tougher schools are "priceless." 3) Myself, I love law but hate the settle up. I'm seeking a part-time job where I can enjoy my own little business; but, I'm not interested in departure education. What make teaching special, to me, is seeing those bedside light bulbs come on when you aren't expecting it. As teachers, we normally will never know what positive impacts we hold really made. Those kids that seem to not diligence, may appreciate your effort more than you know.

I will report to jokes, do a breakneck magic trick, draw a lampoon of a student (I can do those), and even wear a goofy looking Halloween mask. I have rules and the kids know the consequences AND I enforce them. I do give attention to toooooo many teacher today, especially in elementary, do little artsy projects that distract from useful classtime where they can swot up. Many teachers disagree beside me but some agree. I think we, within America, need to oppose our kids more: more reading, writing, debating, speaking, etc. Art is important - contained by art class.
