How much should I charge for my unsullied livelihood?
Question:
I live in CO. (Denver area) Im going to be civilized for an elderly lady next to alhzeimers. Im basically going to be watching her, making lunch/ snacks, cleaning the house and taking her for walk. She wears diapers, so I will obligation to help beside that sometimes as well. I don't want to charge too much because I can consider it would get expensive for them. But, equally, as we all do, I inevitability to make a living. Any concept?
Answers:
at the very lowest possible 15$ an hour...thats what they make within denver area...also it depends if you are experienced
Look up on G00GLE the standard rate for that kind of work a short time ago so you can compare.
You won't make a especially good living doing this career. I'd estimate that people who do this trade name about $10 per hour. Keep contained by mind you are not doing things all the time you are next to her. Mostly you will be just watching her.
Call a nursing home and ask what the aides procure paid per hour in attendance. They should tell you what the average wage is.
How tons interviews do you hold to dance on /weeks waiting to finally receive a available job as a waitress?
Question:
What is about average?
Answers:
It really depends on the restaurant. I have a sneaking suspicion that just one interview. They may however afford a trade test i.e. to find out whether you really know the position. Show your people skills when you are human being interviewed.
Peace and blessings!
restaurants always requirement new general public cuz they quit a lot...possibly 2 weeks you should have a career
If you get the opening you will usually get it right away.Keep trying different restuarants until you succeed instead of waiting.Be proactive.Make it come about.Good luck!
are you really asking that? honestly?
how can you say within is an average amount of interviews/week to get a serving profession? Wouldn't you think that here are too many variables within that question ? who YOU are, where on earth you live, what restaurants and what types you are looking for?
maybe instead of pondering how masses interviews you will have to step on, you should start studying up on the restaurant biz...
I haven't ever interviewed at a restaurant and not been offered the brief with contained by 2-3 days.
Depends on the house.
Some places will give you an apron right bad the street, but corporate dining takes longer.
Should I bequeath a 2 week identify or not?
Question:
i started a job 2 months ago and although I hold put my best effort into this mission I was only just informed that I "don't fit". I was hired on a 90 daytime probation period so contained by 30 days I will be let turn not matter what...so if I find a unmarked job rapidly should I let them know contained by advance or not.
Answers:
Yes you should donate notice. It is the courteous and professional point to do.
However, since the employer has indicated that you "don't fit", they may opt to let you dance sooner.
When you accept a contemporary position, tell the foreign employer that you will be giving a 2 week notice, but should your current employer tolerate you go hasty, you would be willing to start your foreign job right away. This will show your unmarked employer that you are professional and eager to work.
Leaving a commission is always a bit awkward, but bear the high road, preserve your chin up, and remember that just because you "don't fit", doesn't parsimonious that you're not a good hand. You're just destined to do great things somewhere else!!
Best of luck to you!
I would usually say aloud yes, give the spot, it's good business practice. But you are inwardly your probation and either bash can end the employment at any time during probation, so do what you give attention to is right. I have hear that many companies will report prospective employers "No" when asked if they would hire you again, if you didn't dispense proper notice. But it sounds resembling this company might already say that.
Always impart a two week notice. You may not fit contained by the position that you have be currently hired for but in the adjectives you may qualify for another position so its always best to check out of on the best terms possible.
Yupp , No Matter what other give your 2 week see , cause you never want to Burn a Bridge at a work place !
you should, for the principle that you don't want to burn any bridges get a bleak reference.
If it involves you departing before they are planning on it, yes, confer the 2 weeks notice.
I would dispense in my two weeks spy. I agree with what 1 luv girl said.
Always afford a 2 week notice, next the employer can decide if you can resign from earlier.
Well, do you imagine they will give you a appropriate reference? Or are you depending on them for a upright reference because the duty you are about to enjoy is similar?
If you are on probation usually if you decide to move out they don't care.
I would influence that you should always hand over a two week notice, as it shows a rank of maturity even if you "don't fit." Many job give a 90 probation so that they don't own to pay dismissal and it may have nil to do with fit. Keep your chin up and angelic luck.
It sounds hazy to me. your not a worthy fit, but they care keeping you around for another month?? I wounldn't bother next to them too much. If the new employer is feeling like to wait for you to make a contribution notice next still give it. However if they would close to you to start earlier do it. Worry in the order of what your new employer surmise not the old. My unmarked employer wanted me to endow with a 2 week notice beforehand working for him. I think if I would own walked road without the proper spot he would have wondered if I would do it to him too.
You should other give catch sight of no matter down employment time. Even if you intend to stay the full 90 days, it is good business practice to even notify them that you do not intend to stay after the 90 days. Although I recommend that you stay until they agree to you go, as after you will at least own employment. But if you intend to leave beforehand, you should grant them 2 weeks notice (or at least possible a week) so they can recoup a spanking new employee to appropriate your place. (I'm sure that they're working on that also.)
If you don't give a spy, they have the right to confer that information to your future employer, if asked. Future employers do not look charitably on not giving notice and will steal that into consideration when you apply with them.
If you've already be informed by your employer that they do not intend to keep you, I would discuss next to them what the best option is. I'm sensing that they might basically want some changes made by you, seeing as you hold not been fired. They are not obligated to maintain you the full 90 days. Talk to your manager and numeral out what can make the best renovation, either you set off with become aware of or you stay with change.
Sometimes it's better to work differently, then to move out altogether. They invested a lot of time and money into you, and if you haven't be fired yet, they might also reflect about keeping you.
Can you do a nursing Diploma and a GCSE at alike time?
Question:
Answers:
the simple answer is yes, you may not actually know how to do both as part of duplicate mode of training, however you can register and undertake multiple testimonial at one time.
However if you can qualify for the diploma, why bother with the GCSE, what would you consider the benefits to be. Also if you own too much work on - bothare likely to suffer.
It could be possible, if you do the GCSE as chunk of an evening class at college. But as Home Manager says, why would you want to?
Sorry to influence, but NO. You have to own 5 GCSE's grade C or above to catch on a nursing course. So you cant do them at the same time. Also you hold to be 17 and 6 months before you can start a nursing course due to insurance policys contained by the Hospitals where you will be on Placement. Trust me im a nurse contained by a very busy hospital contained by the Midlands. If you would like any more relief just email me direct. Good luck.

5.whats the annual salary for a commercial/private pilot
6.do you hold to go to college or what to become a pilot?
Answers:
1. Pretty much any age - see where an 11 yr old-fashioned earned one beside parental consent. It's pretty expensive to get through the ground arts school and flight training. Have to log lots of hours and that doesn't come cheap - especially if you don't own a plain. Mine cost me a fortune in 1984, I can jsut envision what it costs today.
2. Depends on your local schools and such. Check the FAA site for possible links or G00GLE "Flight Schools".
3. You own to complete ground school first, to start work on your pilots license. Once you pass that - you can attain into a plain with a trainer/instructor to set off your practical training. To pass your license, you enjoy to plot and navigate a solo flight.
4. Most private pilots have worked commercial for a time for the experience. There is a larger souk for commercial due to the needs of the industry. Fewer companies within the private sector has necessitate for private pilots.
5. Check out www.salary.com for your nouns.
6. Generally no - but doesn't hurt to have some Aerospace or Avionics training from college.
Michael F's response be.. WRONG.
1. To actually come by a license after your training you mist be 17 years old.

How should you answer someone who asks you "What are your greatest weakness?" during a available job interview?
Question:
I mean, isn't it wrong to really speak what your weaknesses are? Telling the interviewer that you're inefficient, have a shabby memory, stupid etc. doesn't seem similar to a good opinion to me...
Answers:
The real examine is "have you notorious areas that you believe you can improve on"?
The answer should be 'Yes."
When asked this query, be prepared to offer an answer to be precise truthful and is connected to your previous employment history or work skills.
Example: I don't always finish in good time because I find that I focus too much one aspect of the job. But I am working on that. So I hold challenged myself to finish a project inside a specific period of time.
Good luck.
Kryptonite.
If they can't titter at that, get you a exotic job.
it shows you enjoy humor, can joke, etc.
Otherise, be honest, but after every glum, counter it with a positive.
"I sometimes win caught up within details, so I don't see the whole picture, BUT, I'm working on keeping focus on the objective of the project, not just the small parts."
"My greatest thinness is that I give too much to the job"
p.s. That really happen to be my weakness
Think of something approaching I have a leaning to be shy, but I am working on that. Whatever you do, dont tell them some really big incapacity that you would make them expect twice about hiring you.
Or utter something like, "I tend to lose track of time when working on a position and hate to quit until it's finished" If it is the munificent of place where you will be working on one item at a time, otherwise that might not be the best answer.
Dont say anything seriously discouraging like absence of skills or lethargy. I like the Kryptonite idea IF your interviewers know what Kryptonite is.. You could right to be heard things like - I try to do much at matching time, but I'm trying to keep focus Or I'm a bit honest and blatant going on for things Or I keep discovering my shortcomings and working on them (and contribute an example from the PAST like 'at conservatory, I had a horror of public speaking, but I gave it my best shot)
resourcefully, one characteristic that team look for is honesty,Also this is an oppurtunity to make the interviewer smile, sense of homour the other cog of you.
well you can answer that ,your stunted point is that you have an eye for detail when something dim happens, you reward much attention to it ,you don't overllook it.
Also if me i can say ,that i construe more and talk smaller quantity, thus more practical than theoritical.which makes story unfolding cliques hate me.
You know'
Good luck.
The correct mode to answer this question - provide a minor spinelessness, but also state what you are doing to take meticulousness of it. For example, "I sometimes have trouble speaking contained by front of large groups. But since I want to mortgage my career, I grasp that public speaking is going to be a part of it. So I aligned ToastMasters a few months back, and its really help me with confidence and preparation, and ad-libbing when necessary".
And to answer the 2nd bit of your question, unsurprisingly, you shouldnt say you're inefficient or stupid etc. etc. In the eyes of the interviewer, you are never going to recover from those statements.
AND- dont read aloud something corny, like "my biggest poor quality is that I am too hardworking" - its stupid, and the interviewer knows you are trying to BS him/her.
Juggling flaming cup swords, I cannot do it, yet
Tiptoeing across a High Tension Electric Power Line surrounded by a hail storm. I would not even want to try that.
Baby snakes near kitty cat ears.
Good answers, all.
All that I would make the addition of is that if you give the standard. "fragility that is in truth a strength" answer, be prepared for a follow-up. These days interviewers are wise to that one.
"Really, so you're too much of a perfectionist? Has that cause your projects to be delayed?" or "How has that artificial your performance?"
You'd BETTER own a good answer for that one approaching.
"No, it's not delayed my projects. It's been easier said than done, but I've had to come to expressions with the reality that sometimes 'good enough' really is good enough"
This is tricky. If you side step the examine they are not going to take you serious. Don’t try to sugar coat this request for information. You need to answer it directly. Go ahead and answer but use something that will not exterminate you from consideration. For example - Instead of weak memory you could say aloud, "I have a leaning to forget things". But immediately follow it up next to your solution to your weakness, "for this purpose I carry around a notepad and formulate notes of everything I inevitability to do".
Or I instead of “I’m stupid” because of course your not you can articulate, “Sometimes I misunderstand directions” and immediately follow it up beside, “so I always ask for clarification of what’s expected”. Both of these examples are pretty questionable. I'd probably pick something smaller quantity important. "I enjoy a hard time man organized, so I keep an extensive file system".
With this question they are looking for honesty but also how you cram from your mistakes.
Good Luck!

Anyone hold any tips on rising typing speed?
Question:
I know there's online typing games and lessons, but does anyone own a secret method they would similar to to share.I need to raise but I just can't appear to do it at an ideal rate.
Answers:
I bungled typing class, but over time I've drastically improved merely by typing so often (at every undertaking I've had). I now type 85 wpm.
One suggestion I'd be paid is to type the alphabet abcdefg... etc. Then, you can identify which letters you struggle near and can focus on practicing those more. Something that really helped me hold on to my fingers on the correct keys (and avoid those "crossovers" contained by the middle) was getting an ergonomic the ivories. Since there's a large space within between both sides, I would find myself trying to cross over with one of my index fingers and hitting the middle! It help me to be able to type in need the need to look at the grand piano so much.
typer shark. it's a free online game and it's fun.
once i put stickers on my key hiding the letters, it kinda worked
No overnight secretive method here, I'm sorry to say. What it take is practice, practice and more practice. I used to type with one and only two fingers but, over the years and through necessity, I have advanced to using heaps more fingers and thus greatly improved my speed.
Try transcribing a penchant book ... at least you will soak up reading the book while you practice! Also, try not to look down and watch the the ivories as you type ... this slows you down.
It's no secret! All it take is lots of practice. Don't look at the keys, though, because that will slow you down. Try doing it beside your eyes shut, or just by looking at anything it is that you're typing. Good luck!
Just practice. I took a typing class and it was not easy for me to learn. I eventually well-educated by chatting and being more alive on the computer doing things that interest me rather than looking at a book and doing what the book say.

Should I cart the commission @ a start up company?
Question:
I have be offered a new assignment (as in recently created) at a company that is beneath 5 years old. I am currently contained by marketing and this job would be contained by Public Relations, so it's not far off, talent-wise, from what I'm doing presently. I have be offered $200 less per year and I'll be losing 2 weeks of time off, but gaining abundantly of experience that my current job cannot provide for me. I will also not hold a great 401(k) (they will only game 1% of 4% and where I am match up to 5%) and their health benefits, while they're free (I'm currently paying $16/pay check) aren't as biddable as what I've got immediately.
I plan to ask for $500 more per year and see what they say. Regardless of what they vote, should I take the errand? Has anyone had a similar experience and can relate or can describe me how it turned out for them?
Answers:
If you can afford to make the move & you suppose that this company will be a growing one, you could be getting in on the ground floor of a tremendous opportunity. That opportunity alone have certain benefits attached to it. One of the big benefits of mortal there is that you'll know how to rise in the ranks more immediately than you would at a larger company. Another one is that you'll probably be able to hold a broader scope of experiences and opportunity than you would at a large one. These are freshly a couple of the short term benefits. Another potential benefit is that the 401(k) and insurance (and pay) may powerfully grow as the company grows and is more successful. If they go public (I'm assuming it's private right now), you'll be involved contained by the IPO, which can be a very apt thing.
With that great opportunity, in that are also certain risks. You are (in the short term) risking the things you laid out (benes not as worthy, etc.). In the longer term, you're risking mortal laid off if the company is not successful (with the co. human being five years old, that risk is minimized somewhat). You're risking the benefits and such not increasing to where on earth you'd like them to be.
so...weigh the risks and the benefits and see which one is the weightiest. I surmise you'll make a really devout choice considering all the facts that you've already laid out. No business what, I think you own a bright future ahead of you.
The status of start up company mechanism they cannot pay too illustrious presently, including benefits. But you have the benefits of self a treasure. Most colleague in a start up are more friendly and your post is in general more senior. You may get smaller amount now but when the start up company fly, you will be awarded. Besides, your experience is exceedingly valuable for your adjectives career.
How persistant should you be contained by asking for a second interview?
Question:
I interviewed for a clerical position last week, and the HR leader said he was impressed (he if truth be told used the word "impressed"). He said he would be in touch this week for a second interview. I sent a thank you information. Monday he sent me an email (not a phone call) letting me know that the hiring manager be on vacation and it may lift a couple days to set up the second interview. Today being Wednesday, I sent an email inquiring is the position still sympathetic, and have not received a reply. It have been a "couple" of days, and I own another position that I am supposed to start next week. This is the work I really want though. What should I do? Do you think they truly intend to give the name me back for another crowd, or is this a stall tactic to see if there's someone better? Thanks for all replies!
Answers:
You haven't received a no, so it doesn't hurt to be demanding.
Call them on the phone, and explain that you have received an hold out from another employer, and tell them how much time you own to accept or decline the proposition. Explain that you would rather work for them, but a bird within the hand is worth two surrounded by the bush.
They will probably find a way to speed up the process for you.
-->Adam
It's promising that you're a front runner. I probably would have wait until monday before sending the email asking in the order of the status. As far as it stands now, unless you hear from him, jump ahead & wait until the middle of subsequent week before you follow up again.
The hiring head probably came rear legs to his/her desk & has to wade through a pile of stuff since he/she can be outbound rather than freshly putting out fires.
Btw, it's never a good model to lie at any time during the application/interview process or after you shift on board.
I would say-so you are still in the running. I don't deduce they would bother calling you if they weren't interested. Persistence is good, but don’t be annoyingly unyielding. If the hiring manager is on time off he will probably want a day or two to stop up after he returns. I would give it until Friday or untimely next week, and afterwards follow up again.
Good Luck!
