I think contained by most restaurants, you have to be at smallest 16 to work there. Maybe fifteen, but you would hold to work as a dishwasher. In rare cases where on earth I live, you could find someone willing to tender you a job, but it doesn't occur often.
grocery stores are other hiring people your age. it's severely flexible. you can choose what days you want off.
if near is a mom and pop shop around where you live later try some place like that.other afterwards that no one will hire you most credible..before you work anywhere (besides mowing lawns and walking dogs) youl own to get a workers receipt because you are under the age of 16.
P.S. theres nought wrong with mowing lawns, my brothers did that from similar to 10 yrs old till they be like 16. they made really correct money (just get alot of lawns and do a virtuous job)
if you go to www.guessnow.com you can predict the outcome of events surrounded by the future similar to sports games and if nicole richie will go to secure unit etc. and you get $ in need having to invest. you can totaly win hundreds pf dollars a month

Is wilkinson hardware store contained by the uk monthly or weekly wage?
Question:
Answers:
I'm not sure but I am 60% sure Wilkinson is a MONTHLY pay.
If not, please advise- I should afterwards like to apply for a position at my local store.
Almost adjectives the retail chains are moving to monthly pay if they havent already. Morrisons enjoy monthly pay from Safeways weekly pay packet. Its annoying - M&S do weekly pay though. But for how long??
Are you going to be working here? If so, i think the best bet is to ask them, i am sure someone who works here might be able to report you too :D
I'm not sure if Wilkinson are monthly or weekly pay, but you can find out by getting within contact with their customer service number or Wilkinson Plus number, which is within the link below.
What should I write for desired wage on a constituent time duty application?
Question:
I'm nearly 16 and plan to apply at Golden Spoon. For those who don't know, it's like a frozen yogurt shop. This would be my first material job so I appreciate any counsel.
First, what should I put for desired wage? Minimum wage in my state is $7.50. I would close to a little more than that but how illustrious is too high? Since this is my first livelihood am I only going to catch minimum wage? Also, I have no work experience except for some small volunteer work. Should I write that down? Oh, and do I requirement to write a resume or something? Someone told me I would need that...
Thanks surrounded by advance for any abet!
Answers:
write OPEN... meaning you are pretty much undo to whatever they want to clear you. And, in your interview make conversation with the head usually, at the end they will ask if you enjoy any questions. Tell them your situation and what you are expecting. Companies close to that will usually start an minimum wage, but. they also have a lofty turnover rate so raises can come in the blink of an eye, even after 30 days. If you stick it out, your 7.50 an hour could be 8.00 or 9.00 in a few months near some hard work.
Since here are probably 10 different 16 year olds applying for that job, you arent contained by demand, so they dont obligation to pay you anything more than minimum wage. Chances are that they may take-home pay you more to start off anyways, so I wouldnt put down anything.
Most folks your age that are applying for a part time assignment do not write resumes, but if you did for practice, you may distinguish yourself from other applicants.
Why don't you see what other people surrounded by an entry level position contained by similar stores are making then put that as a desired wage. That mode, you can substantiate what you are asking for. Best of Luck to you!!
The best answer for desired wage is 'negotiable'. You don't want to put a number, because if it is too high next they may pass you over, or if it is too low you may not take as much as they were liable to offer. Most credible this business will have a set wage that they start their workforce at and with no experience it will be difficult to negotiate a sophisticated wage.
Besides setting all margins to 1", the most high-status criteria for setting up a professional typed resume besides relevant text, is "scanability." Here are some positive tips:
1. Place just below your permit header [your hame, address, phone, email address] any Conditional Warning Statement such as "Confidential Resume,"Do Not Contact Current Employer," etc.
2. Always fill-in an Objectives category [just below the Conditional Warning Statement] and make sure that he Objective will contribute to the profitability of your adjectives employer;
3. Select a mono-type font such as Helvetica, Arial, Courier or Times Roman; do not select any cursive handwriting styles which cannot scanned;
4. Keep font sizes inwardly a range of 10 to 12 pts.;
5. Avoid styling certificate with a proper alignment, keep it flushed gone;
6. Instead of using tabs to set up blocked file entries, generate a table and use the column and row settings accordingly;
7. Do not place an i.d. picture anywhere on the resume, this is a crucial taboo due to discrimination issues;
8. Do not place any clear text [saved as .gifs] onto the resume since it may be overlooked during the scan phase;
9. List at the very conclusion of the resume your interests which should include travel experiences, language skills, social interactions such as golf, squad sports, tennis, etc.
In conclusion, the above helpful hints be designed to allow ease of scan of your resume into PDF which can then be primer captured for seach purposes by your potential employer. If the ingenious resume was created surrounded by Word, WordPerfect or Mac Appleworks, it can be Saved As a PDF file which afterwards can be saved as an email attachment. Otherwise, you can simply use a scanner and scan a tricky copy of the resume and then put aside as a PDF file.
Failure to conform the resume to appropriate fonts and styles as outlined above will result surrounded by rejection of the resume simply due to the inability of the scanning device to properly index relevant resume entries.
Good luck!

What are the steps to getting EMT-Basic certified?
Question:
Hi everyone,
What are the step by step and options to win EMT-B certified?
Where do I go to complete respectively step?
Can this be done during a summer vacation from a university?
I'm a student located contained by southern California and i'm not looking to work as a paramedic (as a career) but would love the expirience. Volunteering and classroom is fine with me.
I do want this as some makeshift expirience since I want to work in the medical area.
informative answers are much much appericiated!
Thanks
Answers:
It is fairly early in Southern California. Look into the community colleges as some of them own a course. It is one semester long, twice a week. You do have to overhaul the class with an 80% though. After that you pilfer the national test (online written test) and when you surpass you are certified.
EMT-B certified individuals are in high-ranking demand right in a minute, like nursing. If you look on the college index of courses it will outline what you have to do previously day one of class.
Good Luck.
Go to the local volunteer emt dept. and influence that you wanna become a volunteer and ask them when they offer classes. Usually they agree to you know where and when places are have those types of classes because volunteer's are desperatly needed everywhere. Good luck
I hold an interview any tips on getting the opportunity and how do you negotiate take-home pay?
Question:
Answers:
Be yourself and do not discuss pay unless the interviewer brings it up or they invite you hindmost for a second interview. Make sure to visit their company website and obtain more information about their product string. Ask the interviewer how they got started surrounded by the company and find out what is required of the position you are interviewing for. You might even ask to see the space where you would be working and/or come together the people you would be working next to.
Be assertive, let them know that you want to work at hand. Negotiating pay can be tough during interview process. It is other easier after they confirm that they want you to work there.
~Be confident, but not cocky
~look your interviewer within the eye
~Answer truthfully
~Point out your good traits, but don't exaggerate or blow yourself up
~Do NOT chew gum!
~Turn your cell phone rotten
~Answer each cross-question, don't say "I don't know" be creative!
~A creative answer is better than no answer
~Dress appropriately
~Be interested
As for negotiate pay, ask what the living pays. If it is lower than expected, ask if it is possible to get complex pay, but they most expected are not going to go more than $.75 an hour more. If the banker job surrounded by the mall pays $5.50, you are NOT going to grasp $9.00. That turns me off faster than anything. I'm government and I don't get that much! But ppl will come contained by for an interview for a temporary, parttime bank clerk position that barely hits min. wage and constraint more money than an Assisstant manager get. I won't even consider them as possibilities.
If there be not a place on the application for how much money you want, it will probably come up in the interview. If it be on the application, you should write in "negotiable". Your retribution may also be based on previous work. In one of my job, the average worker started at $5.15 an hour, but more experience got them $5.50. Basically, of late be reasonable. Ask what it pays, if its too low, ask if you could get hold of just for a time more based on your credentials. If not, you may not want the commission and its okay to tell them that you call for more money to support yourself and although you regret it, you feel you'll hold to look elsewhere.
Can u take a opportunity att 11 years infirm?
Question:
need a opportunity 4 money
Answers:
Paper boy and mowing lawns. Companies are prohibited from hiring labor under 14, and 14-16 year olds must enjoy permission from the courts to work.
Good luck
no where on earth that i know of.. unless its a family service..
Not probable, kiddo. But, there could be employment opportunity in your neighborhood if you look. Like rake leaves, cleaning out flower beds, cleaning garages, wash outside windows, watering lawns within areas the sprinkler's can't reach, etc. I'm individual listing things that don't involve machinery because you're still too infantile for that.
You might just dance house to house and ask if there is some commission the home owner will pay an 11 year antediluvian kid to do. Make sure you know exactly what the home owner wants, whether you're adept of doing it, and exactly how much you will get compensated.
DON'T GO DOOR TO DOOR UNLESS YOUR PARENTS KNOW EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE OR WALK ALONG WITH YOU. AND ONLY ACCEPT JOBS THAT YOU CAN DO OUTSIDE. DON'T ENTER A STRANGER'S HOUSE AT ALL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Here's a short list of job which you can create to generate income:
1. Learn calligraphy so that you can provide handwritten invitations and thank you notes to prospective nuptials parties, birthday celebrations, etc. Seek out clients through nuptial planners at nearby churches and temple. A starter calligraphy kit usually runs around $20 and anyone can smoothly pick up this skill. The going rate is usually $1 per hand address item.
2. Become a "poser" who assists wedding photographers contained by setting and arranging various individuals within group and single photographic positions. "Posers" carry around a sketch book of multiple sitting and standing poses which consists of onion skin overlays of various marriage pictures bound in albums. Again, contact local celebratory photographers and wedding planners, suitably. The hourly pay is around $10-$12 per hour and you are normally invited to attend all dining deeds.
3. Seek from your neighbors a gardner position which involves planting, weed removal, plant/tree trimming, light brush clearance. You will be using the neighbor's equipment and tools. Again, do not represent yourself as a grassland mower since there are any number of sanctuary issues involved. A door-to-door solicitation of surrounding neighbors is required and you can charge between $6 to $9 per hour.
4. Offer policing/removal or clearance of trash services to surrounding neighbors which involve trash pickup within adjoining residential area. Limit the extent of pickup to small areas and be aware that here are no hazardous terrain or elements involved in this process. Again, a door-to-door solicitation of neighbors is surrounded by order. You can charge between $6.75 to $7.50 per hour.
5. Acquire a set of fanlight cleaning tools [a bucket, liquid fanlight cleaner, sponge, squeegee, handle beside an extension and a small step ladder] and solicit local businesses for your window cleaning services. However, take care to limit the rise of the window cleaning to no complex than one story. Charge $1 per window panel.
6. Become a proxy/stand-in for neighbors to allow transference of goods and packages to your home/apartment. Acquire the authority to sign any unloading of incoming packages as an accepting neighbor. Charge $1 per each bag handled by you.
7. Consider becoming a restaurant-cafe customer liaison by using your cell phone at restaurants-cafes to coordinate next to the hostess to keep track of waiting customers. Whenever there's a exceptionally long period of time to cause a waiting list, you want to grant the restaurant your services so that customers do not have to stand around for any epic period of time. And when their name/assigned number comes up; you can call for the upcoming customer's cell phone to tell them that they can return to the restaurant and be served. The ring up back tax is usually around $0.50 cents on a per head cause. For example, a couple would be charged $1.00 while children under 6 would not be charged. Placement of a plaque which outlines your duty schedule to hand the hostess station is sufficient to garner attention of prospective customers who will good point your services since they can do other activities outside of the restaurant -- recurrently beyond the range of any inhouse page system. You realize that everyone has a cellphone and why not hold advantage of the connectivity to kind the diner's experience worthwhile. The restaurant will also appreciate the added service you are providing as a customer liaison.
8. Why not become a paid feeder servicing the disabled at adjacent nursing, convalescent, assisted living/care centers and hospitals. It involves feeding food to patients who are incompetent to feed themselves. The starting rate is $8.00 per hour. The lone downside is that one has to lift precautions to wash one's hand after each feed. A posting of your services [by a business card or flyer] on a reviewable bulletin board would be enough to generate customers. The compensated feeder position is one of the fastest growing occupation at this time.
Good luck!

Have I be discriminated against?
Question:
I have be turned down for a job because my husband works surrounded by the same department. ( He would be my direct supervisor). Isn't that discrimination? It's a dispatch position not incharge of finances or sales. Head organization ok's raises so I can't see a conflict of interest unless it's just about discipline.
Answers:
If you are in Ontario, Canada it is immaculately legal for a company to enjoy policies against Hiring Familly members to work within the same department. Even if they are working in completey seperate departments.
I thought it would be considered nouns based on familly status, but it isn't, I basically had to reasearch that a few days ago.
Its call nepotism's. Which means its a conflict of interest base on your relationships. Most companies frown upon hiring people that are related.
no it's not nouns. What your company is doing is trying to avoid a potential mess. There are plenty of companys that do not allow, family or spouses to work within same departments, let a lone supervise.
