(If you do have a second page, brand name sure to put your name at the top of that one, too, basically in shield.)
I know they say one and only one page, but if you need another page to really show what you've done, stir for it. Certainly don't do that if you're just out of college, though.
I'm of late reading another answer: the cover letter is a missive; it is not part of your resume. Also, unless resumes are specifically asked for, only put "References Available Upon Request" on your resume and don't send them near the resume. Do bring a typed list of your reference to interviews. Even if they don't ask for the list, you might enjoy to fill out an application that will ask for them, and later you've got the address and phone numbers, etc., with you.

I suppose staple so the pages can't take mixed up. One staple, upper left corner. Your resume should individual be one page. If you have more than one page you requirement to reduce some of your content. If reference are making your resume longer, then entry on your resume that references are available upon request.


It's best freshly to leave it seperate, but it really depends not just on your preferences, but also on your potential employers' preferences. You could ask around some places and see what their managers prefer.

Having reviewed lots of resumes over the years, I prefer staples. The treatise clip might slip off and the sheets mixed up. The interviewer might toss out an incomplete resume if they hold plenty of good ones.

Your resume should contain at least possible 3 pages, the cover communiqué, your education and your work experiences. If you choose to include your reference at time of resume that would be a 4th page.
