Understand that I'm speculating here, but from what you describe it doesn't really nouns like your company is "rolling within it" just immediately. And I have found that repeatedly times this is because of poor leadership at the company--especially when that supervision blames sales.

Unfortunately a High School diploma may not be enough for the job he is applying for. If you need a resume, you regularly need a college level or some sort of extracurricular training or tech schooling. Are there vocational classes he could pocket in a subject he might be interested surrounded by? He may have to try working at an unskilled type of profession first IE...walmart, McDonald's, the local mall to achieve some experience first. Has he tried any local factories,they regularly have entry rank positions on 3rd shift.
