Society has lowered the lump on what it takes to become great and have accepted mediocrity as an upper horizontal of acheivement. This creates an attitude in society that say well It will be given to me. Laws today own been put contained by place to reward and recognize those who newly because of their race, belief system or place within society, where as twenty years ago, you be who you were by the action you put forward to succeed. YOu were predictable for the hard work you did, not for the reality that you showed up for the job everyday. You in actuality earned a living support then and government didnt just paw out aid because the paperwork said you needed it, in reality that aid wasnt even available back next. It didnt matter so much what see, religion or society you belonged to, if you worked hard, you acheived a status contained by society. Everyone was on matching level later in common society, all have to work to live. Nothing was free backbone then (Or as jammy to obtain), today, well today you compress out paperwork that says you are dependent, arrange the proof that meets their requirments (whether the proof be a recline or not) and without checking much, you are awarded the aid "you read aloud that you need". Back then a man word was polite, today, its extremely questionable in copious cases.

This is just my assessment, I am sure there are others that give attention to differently, as a manager and a business owner myself over the closing twenty five years these are things that I have see and been subject to. The convenience system of today is flawed badly. People own loss respect for their elders, for educator and the educated. They backfire to understand, that in need basic respect and admiration for those who are in the position ,near the knowledge of their position, it is difficult to accomplish assignment of the job or the favour of the nation. They fail to get that any job is to increase their nation. Twenty years ago employees care about their job and the extended meaning of their work. Employees worked not solitary for the benefit of their own families, but for the benefit of the nation. Today, short the love of a nation, your job manner only a Paycheck.
Probably cultural change as well as the move from products to services.

When population (anywhere) were making products for a local flea market they tended to cart a pride in the finished article, after adjectives the end-user was commonly a neighbour and since they probably made something I'd want, and I'd want the best I'd better make my product the best I could...

As the end-user become more distant so quality tend to decline.

Also, with the shrinking world, masses countries with a right work ethic, sense of community etc., have become ruined by "internationalism" and joined the rat see, following the example of big brands and corporate thinking, where making profits and looking after number one (self) business. more than they used to.

(And we also have to ask ourselves if we really treat workers as capably as we once did... management today seem more about cost than relations; criticism rather than praise; multi-tasking fairly than skill-recognition, and so the list go on...)
