Question:I was hired final four months ago at a job I disappeared to look for a better paying one. I was call back because my dated boss was going away, and the company needed someone who new the business. I agreed to come subsidise and work for a new supervisor who is a veteran of the company. He's nearing sixty and wishes help more than frequently. I don't mind helping when I'm not busy, but he doesn't even do a quarter of his opportunity when I'm busy. He stands behind me and debate about the apposite old days most of the time he's even here. Oh, he likes to sing sometimes too. After four months of this I'm getting pretty annoyed, but I don't resembling to complain. But today was a fruitless day. After work I have to drive to get my paycheck, adjectives the time stewing about how I'm feed up with covering for my boss. As I walk in the store superior asked me how things were going, and I told him "Things could be better. I'm not getting the hours I have need of to do both mine and (my bosses) job." I would have newly been honest beside him and told him you felt approaching your work load is too much right immediately with adjectives the "extra" things he is giving you and although you want a good working relationship next to him you feel resembling you can't have one right in a minute because he is giving you so much extra work you feel stressed. The unlucky thing in the order of what you did was not taking it to him first, by describing his superior you basically are stepping on toes because his boss will probably jump to him instead of the CEO and tell him what you said-which will mete out hurt feelings and anger. What I would do immediately is go to the store planner and tell him/her not to utter anything yet, that you would close to the chance to relay your boss how you're feeling yourself and run from there. Then after you agree to your boss, if things don't get better you be in motion to your store manager.
Only wrong surrounded by the sense that you are likely going to still hold to interact with this Boss, and word could highly likely trickle down to him.

Sorry, i'm 17 and couldn't get hold of a real commission this year. Most places won't hire you until your 18, thats in CA though. You gotta enjoy connections with someone that have a business

YOU want a charge. We couldn't give smaller amount of a damn about it. Therefore, it is not us that should be looking to aid you, YOU should be going from shop to shop asking if they employ fourteen-year-olds, not us.
Not adjectives places employ fourteen-year-olds because they're childlike and most are, frankly, lazy and irresponsible.
I'm not sure if they are within Indiana but try 7-11 stores or wawa's. Also a local car wipe or gas station will hire you for summer work. Since your not near a shoreline a junior lifeguard does not work but if you have a local pool or youth center they may hold you work as a junior councilor. Good luck, if legal age is 14 you should be capable of go to the precinct and apply at all the stores.
Have you tried the Parks and Receation department within your city?
Sometimes they have summer jos for 14-16 year olds at their rec centers.
what more or less working at a camp as a summer counselor, this is a fun outside opening and looks great on a college application later down the splash. Do the mcdonald thing during the institution year if you can balance both.
In several states you can't legally work until 16, you may know how to start working at 14 in your state. You may want to try the local
broadsheet they some times hire 14 year olds to deliver as well as answer the phones. If no luck here you may want to consider volunteer work it looks great on job applications as very well as college
apllications and great on future resume'.

Here's an idea that most infantile teenagers like yourself don't suppose about. Try your state severance office. Every year during the summer, employer place ads looking for cog time - full time help.
This works because I'm an employer on the east coast. I usually hire going on for 8 to 10 high arts school students for summer work. Many come back the subsequent year and several stay on as part time during the academy year. I usually use these students to help out within the office by answering the phones, relieve with file of paper work, cleaning the organization, and depending on the individual they could work in the area with the rest of the men and go and get on the job training as an apprentice. This is a great track to find out just what type of position you would be interested in. Pay is usually a few dollars above minimum rate. Depending on their employment performance and attendance text I give a bonus when they find ready to shift back to university equal to 1 weeks pay.
Many teens / students don't usually estimate of using their state unemployment department. Many states offer rates breaks for employers who hire summer students who attend university.
If your unemployment department has zilch right now (which I doubt seriously) ask if they could contact you when something comes up. They usually will hold you fill out a form and hang on to your name on record.
