I hold a PhD in geology and enjoy spent many years around academia.
I suggest that you return with the US News college rankings. They just come out. And see how Governor's State is ranked. I enjoy never heard of it, but nearby are a lot of righteous schools that I own never heard of.
Ask your department graduate advisor or alumni coordinator to relay you where recent former students have gotten job. Also, ask students who were within last year where on earth the students they know got job (or if they didn't). Call some of the graduates and ask them how firm it was to take a job and the effect of graduate from GSU.
Identify some businesses that you would like to work for. Call their HR supervisor. Tell him/her that you might want to work with them when you graduate and ask whether they would recommend that you bring back a degree from another conservatory.
Definitely, you do NOT have to own an ivy league degree to attain a good mission! There are only so oodles ivy league graduates and they cannot possibly crowd all the worthy jobs contained by the country!
It would be desirable to find out which universities contained by your area own the best reputation among HR managers.

Ive be seriously considering starting a buisness that acts as a folks previous employer. If you have desperate references, you could hire my company and we would provide a part reference. I currently own my own business though I know I could've used a service approaching that in yesteryear.
If you switch from job to position, it looks like you dont lug the work seriously. It also sets up a precident that you do not stay at a job for highly long. Why would an employer hire someone who they didnt think would stay at their business for immensely long?
Why not just maintain the same crap undertaking, instead of hopping from one crap to another? If you can't put up with some crap they don't want to hire you. In grip you didn't know - every job have some crap, the good team put up with it. It costs an employer closely of time and money to train a new human being, they would prefer to have a stable member of staff. By job hopping they meditate that you are not stable.
As an employeer I can say its because it looks similar to you have a removal of commitment, and your MBA's make it worse.
The problem is abundant of us either go to university with the student or know him while we were working. The student who bragged more or less how he was going to tramp into the 70k a year job, the student who believes hes more than he is. The student who is still working surrounded by Tescos, turning down jobs because.... its not the 70k they assume they deserve.
The problem is your qualifications actuallty work against you. Nearly adjectives jobs you enjoy to take the crap and work your channel up but all my friends who go to uni wont 'lower' themselves to take those job, so I dont hire those sort of people as they are the most promising to jump ship the moment they sniff anything better.
I dont know if your one of them or newly one thats been adjectives by those other students but thats the same object for many others.
While those other job you hopped from were crappy what be your reasons for disappearing? Was it because they were merely short term job over the summer, or did you leave because it be crap and you thought the grass was greener? Because the latter is what they are afraid of, adjectives jobs are crappy and you a short time ago need to roll near it.

Today, seven out of ten high college grads attend college. This gives employer an edge into picking who they want to assistance their business grow. After the best are taken, where does that vacate all the other college grads that worked intricate and made it? I saw alot of grads that worked at FedEx and as waiters and waitresses, still waiting on replies from places they applied for within their given field. If you can afford to, particularly go. When you grasp out in the working world, the first piece human resources people will do is peacemaker you on whether or not you have that piece of quality newspaper. You can have lots of experience, excellent reference, and be smarter than every other applicant. It doesn't matter if you don't enjoy a degree. Most of them won't even gossip to you.
While you may not end up working within the field within which you majored, the diploma is still very esteemed. In my company, people doing awfully similar jobs go and get literally twice the salary if they own a bachelor's degree.
It's not a idle away of time or money even if you don't think you're getting much out of it.
I terminated up doing what I learned within college the second time around - I am a nurse. The first time I just get a degree contained by arts, and that was deeply useless. I think my going to college mostly help 'Budwieser'!

Well I'm an accountant. I've found that as expected in the legitimate world there's more to it then what be presented in conservatory, but school give a pretty damned solid foundation. You can kind of report which schools have it and which didn't in reality.Even more important though I focus was the critical thinking skills, and also the amount of effort needed to be succesful. I know how to problem solve and I know how to work easier said than done... and these were absolutely learned behaviors.
The concluding 10 years (since graduating) have be good to me, almost certainly. I'm sure that without going to college it wouldn't be remotely the same.

Someone told me once that going to college is exchanging one kind of weekly (money) for another kind of newspaper (diploma) and that's about it.
I go to college, both undergrad and grad schools. It be well worth it and not in recent times for my college experience.

Try to gain a job that have a base income plus commission, though, if you are just starting out. And look for opportunity with lots of training and support.
