no i never work around gossipers I own held many job in a mixture of industries. Gossip and brown nosing is everywhere. I hold noticed that some ethnic group like to sneak and complain constantly about the boss and after kiss up when he/she is in the room. You newly have to see the humor within it to survive in a craft.
Actually, I used to work around lots of both! To me, they are not only annoying and irritating, but they also don't succeed surrounded by business. Management uses them as toys to find out things that are going on, and when they are done with them, they supply them the boot! With both being so annoying, I assume they are equally bad! :)

I used to be a caddy as a teen, and because I was an amiable individual who actually enjoy engaging population on a gpersoanl level, I be percieved by my fellow caddy's as a brown-nose, when nothing could own been further from the truth.
