If they inform you they haven't reviewed it yet, be sure to update them your name and that you are massively interested in the position and why. You may quality like you are individual pushy, but you aren't! It shows that you take initiative and that you own follow-up skills. I've had potential candidate call me and after I speak next to them, I"ll immediately verbs out their resume. I am usually glad they called because it puts a "personality" near the resume and I get a better grain for the potential candidate. Good luck!

Are U.S. company to Antigua allowed to work at hand while on an extended stay?

I'm from Trinidad, a little further south, and (most) employer are not at all worried roughly your residency or legal status and would create absolutely no issue around it. I suspect that Antigua, and even Barbados are just as lax (whatever you've read), but it's possible that since they are more tourist orient than we are, there's a lot smaller amount non-tourism related jobs to jump around. Besides, it's fairly unproblematic to get a work-permit within Caricom countries (mainly english-speaking caribbean). The long and short of it, if you've got skills that an employer within Antigua requires, 4 out of 5 will hire you under the table and there's zilch for them or you to fear as command agencies pretty much turn the other way. Just travel for it...the worst that can happen is you'll seize turned away... But use a don't ask don't tell approach when it comes to your legally recognized status... broaching the subject might rattle them a bit if they're anything close to us, and I think they are. Definitely don't amble in and articulate "Hey, I'm illegal, can I own a job?" Good luck!

By my estimate, around 10 percent of lawyers craft their living in courtrooms. These are primarily prosecutors and criminal defense lawyer. Another 25 percent show up in court smaller quantity than once a month. Another 25 percent show up maybe once per year. The harmonize couldn't find the courthouse with both hand and a good map.

I suppose lawyers minus courts are like basketball players minus a gym. You will eventually have to become au fait with your kingdom. If becoming a lawyer is what you truly want to be next you will have to swot how to become comfortable in your working environment.
