I enjoy worked for a real estate developer that built 500 homes a year. The owner started out next to his father as a real estate agent. From near they bought land and homes, afterwards bought more. They sold some and bought some more. Then they bought a big piece of property and made it a subdivision. From there they did another and another. They've built 6 so far and hold plans for more.
If I were to do that, I'd draw from my real estate license and a business amount. That's a good start.
