If you are/were an employer, would you hire a personage next to a disability?

Question:As long as they were qualified and could do the undertaking, would you hire them, or would you be concerned about liability and workman's comp?

Answers:
I would as long as they could do the living and their disability would not keep them from doing the post. people near disabilities should be treated no different than anyone else with the exception of the few things that they physically may not know how to do.

Other Answers:
Yes and I have within the past because certificate are what is important.

if they be the best person for the opportunity - yes. Of course I'd hire them. In fact, I wouldn't work for an employer who wouldn't.

u enjoy to b/c there is a regulation against that

Yes i would hire someone with a disability.... why not???

I would if the be the best person for the employment I'd hire them if they were the best individual for the job, no cross-examine.

It depends on what the job is, but yeah, I would be fine beside it and I wouldn't be too concerned.

Yes they are more dependable

As long as they were qualified, sure. Why not? If I be, I would.

At my job, in attendance have be two guys hired who cannot speak but can hear. They both do a very biddable job, and one of them is even assitant coordinator even if he can't talk.

If associates with disabilities own good skills, why not hire them?

Plus, if you be to not hire someone just because they have a disability, you'd be breaking a law right in attendance.

Of course I'd hire them, as long as he/she shows the profile I expect...

In few words, I'd treat him/her like anyone else.

WHY NOT? what is nearby to be concerned about liability and workmans comp? only just because they are disabled doesnt mean they are going to draw from hurt. they have indistinguishable amount of chance getting injured as anyone else. Every workplace have those workmans comp bums that live off of it as long as they can anyways. I am an employer who have disabled associates and they are some of my hardest workers.

Depending on the business I had, yes, I would. Everyone deserves a uncertainty. And as far as workers comp and liability, that is why businesses convey insurance. Who knows, if you did not hire that personage, you may be turning away an excellent employee.

yaa i will if the are the best for the opening like i one of my paw is not all that dutiful but i work in the building industry as a builder you can see thats what i approaching doing

Liability and worker's comp will always be issues, regardless of disability.

Yes, I would particularly hire a qualified person near a disability. I may be biased, though, as I used to be married to a quadriplegic and I currently volunteer for a few programs involving children & teens with disabilities. :)

What trait is needed to own a worthy boss?

Question:I am a good hand

Answers:
I am a manager and also own a boss to answer to. I think one of the most substantial things to have is the competence to listen, and here what is wanted and needed and do your best to go and get it done. Make sure you boss knows what you are doing to accomplish the charge along the way. Keep them involved within progress that is made.

Other Answers:
I reflect on that a mixture of qualities are needed to be a moral boss. They would need intelligence, teachings, patience whenever possible, and they shouldn't consent to their ego get surrounded by the way of accomplish the tasks at hand. They should be comprehension of the employees but at impossible to tell apart time not take any crap from those workers who don't want to work or try to get over straightforward.
Do some research prior to interviewing with the company. Find out from current workforce what the management and ownership are resembling. A broad spectrum of current employees would be the best source of information on that. Talking beside one guy that just get turned down for his desired vacation calendar won't be an accurate profile.

Be sensitive in the interview to how your interviewer (possibly prospective boss) is acting surrounded by the interview. Draft some questions for them that you can ask at the running out of the interview that may give you insight into their managment style and problem solving skills. If you depart from the interview with a fruitless feeling, I doubt spending your work afternoon around this person is going to be amusing.

An interview is a 'get to know you' session on both sides of the desk. Be professional, but begin to build a relationship near these people. Make them a quantity of your network contained by your industry, and while you might not take the charge right now, you might beckon them for contacts, advice, or mission leads at a following date. If you end an interview not wanting to keep hold of in touch beside this person at adjectives, you likely will not soak up working with them 8 to 10 hours a sunshine.

If you want to own a mortgage company or you want to get rewarded as an independent contractor (if your broker allows it, mine does) you must apply and pay for a MN State Origination License. Pay the duty and you are good to step

probably yes, it would be better for your chances of employment
I would,nt vote so, but I bet you would have to be bonded, and step to your nearest police station, to inquire about, anything shady contained by your past.Or if you hold a criminal record.

no one HAS to impart a 2 week notice, but it is the right item to do.

FYI the only ask a prospective employer can ask a past employer is "is this individual eligible for re-hire" you want them to say "yes" and they will if you donate a 2 week notice.. if you a moment ago leave they will speak no which will make it harder for you to achieve another job.

It is not required it is simply good etiquette. yes

Check near your local Labor Board, or you can always hail as OACCA

Well you don't ever have to bestow a two week but if you are responsible and want to use them as a reference than i suggest you grant them one.If it is a place that you hate than to catch them back quit when you are programmed to work and then they are fu****.

you are not REQUIRED to furnish 2 weeks for any job
but if you want to find your final pay cheque surrounded by a timely manor and a good insinuation you will

You are not required to give two weeks become aware of on any job. It is newly a matter of courtesy to do so.
It is tenet that they have to supply you at least a partially hour break after you work six hours. Union laws require two ten minute breaks. If you are a salaried being, they tell you that you are disallowed to take breaks. Rest room breaks are allowed.

Well, you're dead, and the place you worked for probably wouldn't draw from sued because technically, the drunk robbed you of alcohol at gunpoint. Probably didn't pay for that concluding drink, either.

Not if here were witnesses of a mind to come forward and make a statement to John Law and possibly testify to this effect contained by future court proceedings.

Do I stay at my profession next to a nice boss and smaller amount money, or do I work for a bipolar guy for A LOT more money?

Question:I have worked for my boss for two years, it be suppose to be 40 hrs/week, but it has single been 25-30 hrs/week ever see I started. My boss said he doesn鈥檛 want to work (network) more to get clients so he will never hold 40 hrs/week for me. I am unhapy with out of commission enough!

I get an offer from a man beside his own company that is ex-friends beside my boss. He offered me a job for $40/hour and a guarantee of AT LEAST 30 hours a week. If I work for this guy I will burn bridges beside my boss who is also a friend to me. The other reason why I am worried is that this guy seem to have bipolar symptoms and working for him might be stressful because of his mood swings. Also, he starts a company, get bored in a few years and consequently moves on. So this job may solitary last a few years. If I leave your job to work for this other guy my boss will NEVER hire me back. But the money and work hours would help me out beside starting a family next to my wife.

P.S. Nothing against bipolars.

Answers:
Go for the job that pays the most. No job last forever and no employer are ever loyal to their employees anymore. so move about for the greenbacks while they are still available.

Other Answers:
Depends on the kind of personality you are. The more mercenary you are the easier it is to go where on earth the money is. The more loyal/comfrotable you are the more you are likely to stay.
Stick near "happy." Have a heart to heart and consent to the guy know you're willing to increase business to cover your extra hours.
i dream up u should work fo a bipolar guy for alot more money
I think you should stay where on earth you work right now. It's more stable. If you want more hours and reward, talk to your boss. You're be working for him for that long, i know it's going to be hard to influence no to a person who's be working for him for that long.
you will have smaller quantity stress with the nice one and that matter
longer happier life
smaller quantity sickness
My opinon I would rather work where on earth I would enjoy it the best. My mom works for some bipolar guy and she is so miserable at her opening. One day he is appraising her work and consequently the next daylight he is yelling and screaming at her for how discouraging she doesn't know anything about her livelihood.
Source(s):
My mom experience
I think at some point the money thing will disappear when you will feel stressed and pressured. Its better to lug its easy and spare your free time, contained by volunteering for a different organization same time increasing your experience contained by the career grazing land you choose for yourself.
Well, If you're starting a family consequently...I'd go near the good paying duty for a while, but if it turns out to be to stressful then try I don't really know what to do.
i would stay near the nice boss. if you want money making more pay and you can't obtain a raise next to your present boss, look for a job else where on earth in your spare time, but don't work for the bosses ex-friend.
Go for it. You will hold at least two great years of experience. And again, if #2 starts another company, he may appropriate you with him. After time, you may know how to run the second company for him while he starts the third. Sounds like it could be a win-win situation.
Ok, I have the same problem. It is tricky because you can't live your enthusiasm for someone else, but you don't want your life to be run by money any. First, think nearly working everyday w/ the bipolar guy-everyday, for 8 hrs! do you think you could pedal that. Also the question to ask yourself is, Is money the most essential thing? If you do start at the up to date job making more money you may abominate it and quit anyway so why don't you stay where you are. Talk to your boss give or take a few your situation and maybe bring a part time see to help supplement your income. Your safety needs to come first and everything else will spill out into place.
i am getting ready to own a family also. when it comes to supporting that kith and kin you have to be in motion with the deposit. i feel you obligation to ask yourself this: am i going to get rewarded and will the paying be consistent? meaning, are you going to hold that paycheck in your appendage everyweek and how long is it going to last. another interview that is immensely important is: am i going to be capable of support my family next to what i am making now? if the answer is no after i feel you know what you own to do. hope this was cooperative.
OMG. working with a guy who seem bipolar and has a track history of breaking down relationships is asking for distress and suffering! this guy is not the kind of party you want to spend more time with than your own wife... or is he?? you know the answer to that grill.

i've seen this quality of person devour up and into every part of a person's time... like a vulture. stay away!

contained by the meantime have a heart to heart next to your current boss. tell him how much you appreciate working beside him. and even tell him that you get an offer from that guy. transmit him you don't want to take it but the money would really relief your family. next ask him what the two of you could work out to increase your pay because you really entail it.

otherwise you will be with what is none as a repugnance monger! someone who zaps your energy..... money can't buy pleasure.. it's really true. don't fall for the prey.
1. Burning bridges isn't ever a virtuous idea, you never know when you may necessitate to go subsidise to the other side.
2. Working for mentally unstable people is stressful(as you are anticipating). Since we spend more time at work than next to family, it is extremely noteworthy to be comfortable and feel appreciated.
Tough call upon, but I would recommend starting a new duty search now...review the offers scrupulously (as you are now - smart guy!) since making a decision.
No offense taken, you should never afford up a steady job to work for someone who could confidently fire you for no reason. There is no free ride & this guy seem to be offering alot. Maybe beacause he is impossible to deal near, is why he needs a current employee. Without medication, bipolars are unpredictable at best.
Stay next to the boss you like and find another road to supplement your income.

You obviously progress online so here is a suggestion.
