haha no way. you should see the hours of darkness classes. You are prolly the average age. Its never to late to promote yourself
no its never to late to do what you want
Of course not! The certainty that you're even thinking about doing that should propose you're headed surrounded by the right direction.
It's never too late for awareness in life span. Life is learning daylight by day, be it at universtity or have a coffee at a lost coffee shop. Don't be scared by age... Keep on learing and have goals contained by life.
it's never too behind time to learn and enhance ur ease...life is one long university, to take formal childhood at 35 will emprove ur confidence aquaint with unsullied ideas and tender a zeal to ur life...my even be an emprovement within job profile and pay...atleast give it a shot u enjoy nothin to loose
No, it is not.

Only your ability to modify, admit your fault, realize what motivates you...and then do it.

Age is meaningless, unless your age restricts you (family dependents, mortgage, demise, etc.)
Its never too late. There be a 90 year old women who graduate high institution with my class. You still own plenty time to make go changing decision.
No it isn't - totally not. BUT you won't be 18 again... Life still does only step forward and not back - but if you focus going to uni is the right choice for you then you should do it :-)
It's not too unpunctually, but it's probably a good thought to carefully outline what you mean by a "career"?

An 18-year-old have the luxury of being competent to experiment a little contained by the job open market. People in their 40s may hold less time (or inclination) to experiment.

Yes, you signed a contract.
Being an indy contractor you bring a lot of export tax write offs, like mileage for example, do some research.
Yes. Labor law are different for "employees" than for "contractors". If you feel that, despite your contract, your living desciption makes you an member of staff entitled to benefits, I suggest you take a copy of your contract to an attorney specializing surrounded by labor law and take-home pay for a consultation as to whether you have a valid chance of getting the court to regulation your status. If the court feels that you are an hand and that the company is using the wording of the contract in decree to deny your legal rights, you could win, but hold in mind... you may finish off up out of a job no event the outcome, whether that's right or not. Also, there may be advantages as a contractor that would enjoy to be equalized as well... contractors unanimously receive higher clear because companies save on benefits, income due, and unemployment toll.
Yes. Since you are not an employee of the company you are not guaranteed any benefits (health ins., salaried vac. & sick days etc.) If the company decides to hire you next you would be able to pick up benefits after 90 days.

Childless by choice within the workplace?

Question:How do you guys feel something like balancing career and parenthood. I am adjectives for it. I think nearby is no reason you cannot do both. But do you adjectives think that parents should draw from special treatment, ie: extended maternity give and being competent to come back to your same position, when adjectives the while you were gone and someone else be doing your job? I am merely curious what people hold to say going on for this. I really feel for the inhabitants who choose not to have children, however basically miss out on some perk.

Answers:
I have no children on the other hand I am continually being forced to look the other bearing when one of my coworkers calls within and says she can't come to work because her child is sick. Compound that by doesn`t matter what number of children this person have plus they, themselves getting sick, and you can see why it is frustrating to work with someone who is frequently left because they have to "enjoy it all". I have the rendition of "my children come first" more times than I perfectionism to think in the order of. I always want to ask "If this is true, afterwards why are you here at work instead of at home with them?" I find it funny that you refer to these "little extras" that mothers find as perks. Why does a mother acquire more "perks" than I do? What am I getting for my being to work while you are at home taking charge of your kids? Nothing. Yet I am expected to take on the extra nouns your absence leaves. I one-sidedly think it sucks.

Other Answers:
no latest babies, too many sucking down my oxygen as is
Source(s):
www.truthout.com

that sucks I assume they should have to administer you back the position after parenthood leave. Why should women be punished because they hold children? It's already hard satisfactory to work in a "man's world" Are going to turn on respectively other now?

In everything in that is a time. You will get your turn at those perk when you have kids. The relations with kids are usually the more stable workforce. They generally won't up & quit their job because they want to go do something different. Just so you know, I worked 3 years after getting married, afterwards started a family. I have to quit my lab job because of the danger to the unborn. I've worked for pay more or less 10 years of my life, and 12 years volunteer work.

Legally, beside a good advocate you could probably make a suitcase for discrimination. It's the ruling that discriminates though, not your employer. Having sexual intercourse is a choice, and carrying the baby to permanent status is also a choice. The choice to have a tot shouldn't result in different jargon of empoyment than the choice to remain childless. Say what you will about the birth rate past its best, but there are PLENTY of children contained by third-world countries who need a home... if the USA or England desires to increase its population, adoption is the way to move about.

I don't see how the childless miss out on some perks. They don't miss out on promotions; those are awarded base on merit, not on who had the ultimate baby. They don't miss out on discharge; they agreed to their pay and repay raises, and relatives with babies don't seize more. In fact, society have shown that businesses have, within the past, rewarded childless people more (as they used to and still do foot men more than women) because they won't be called out of work for sick children and the resembling; in other words, the company see people next to children as less productive.

Sure, there's maturnity vacate. But I tell you what, I've be through it twice, and maternity check out of is no picnic. All that pain, and blood, and repossession for what, 6 weeks? 6weeks of no sleep, a crying baby partially the night, bonding next to the child during that time, only to hold to pack it off to a stranger adjectives day, every year of the week? No, it's no picnic.

The only perk that parents have the childless adults enjoy are the children themselves and the joy they bring when you in actuality have time to spend next to them.

the times "they are a changing"...I think that parents are facing immense stress having both (if here are both parents) work long hours and then try to say family....time near the child (children). I could never do it and am grateful I never had to put together those kinds of choices. Single citizens are just fine too...mostly it's adjectives about economics. What we attraction..stuff like that. It's lately the way it is in this day and age..I didn't start undergrad school until adjectives my kids were surrounded by school adjectives day...grad university..they were antiquated enough to do minus me for a few hours a day..Everybody's experience is different. Heck...in the present day people are marry way after that than they used to and having babies channel later than they used to...It's only reality.

try nursing

if your good near , and like number.. turn for it.. fiance is a great pain art and always polite money as a CPA you will kick some foremost butt..

One of the guys I work with have a beautiful wife who is an actuarial and make a ton of coin. If you love math, get into a science, math or engineering corral. We need more girls!! the settle up is great! the work is fun! and there are opportunity for business and management surrounded by those fields as capably. It's not too late to ensnare up on the classes you need to purloin for it, you're not the first who has wait a year.

electrical engineering major, graduate in may.

i would recommend some humane of business degree...since your girl and not going into something specific resembling nursing...i think that would be the best thought...hell i'm a guy and wish i would enjoy gotten a business degree, but i get a degree contained by criminal justice and a minor surrounded by psychology and not using either!..luckily i get a great job bc i have a degree length!..so go near the business if u have no concept what u wanna do...

I'm an engineer. It's what I do, not who I am. I go at work. It's challenging and it pays resourcefully. Contrary to what some people say aloud, you don't have to "love" your duty; just approaching it. Find a career that meet your financial 'needs' and you'll have the funds to pursue your 'wants.'

If you like math, follow that. It will gross long hours of studing easier.

If you are interested in Finance, carry an internship with a mound or financial institution to get some experience and see if it is something you may want to do.

There is a crap nouns of money in nouns if you are good -- slickly 6 to 8 figures, but also long hours at times.

Math can also facilitate you in physics, engineering, chemistry to dub just a few.

Do some research, verbalize to your professors.

If you ask anybody, finance is probably the most boring chore out there (accounting also)...BUT the net is good and you tend to move up the corporate stepladder quite quick but its BORING...trust me..I've taken a few finance classes for my marketing chief.

Its okay if you haven't declared your major however in your second year. Usually in our day, students still undecided until the third year but if you're within the 4 year-plan, make sure you avow by the end of your second year. On your first 2 yrs of college, you mostly requirement to take and finish your General Education anyways..So you're doing fine.

If you're interested within the business area, bear the business intro class. The class will introduce you to the subcategories of business...such as Marketing, Manangement, Accounting, Leadership etc..... Or sometimes colleges/universities offers workshops to relieve figure out what you want to pursue.

If you really approaching Math, then nouns or accounting would be really good nouns to consider....but i can honestly say that its not going to be a fun post (but you never know, you might actually approaching it).You can think in the region of being a Math don or an engineering also. I would say concentrate on finishing college first.... study shows that a life-size percentage college students DON'T end up have a career base on the major they graduate in anyways.

So Goodluck! converse to your advisor/counselor if you need figure things out.

Anybody know if the Uni of Phoenix online provides a worthy tuition?

Question:

Answers:
these days, more and more colleges are going online. the with the sole purpose difference with the U of P is that they get on the bandwagon early, and they're a for-profit institution. that isn't necessarily unpromising, and just as near all tuition, you get out what you put into it.

immediately, if you are looking to have a prestigious teaching, then you're bark up the wrong tree. but if you want the convenience of taking classes from home, and need to capture certification or classes to aid your career along, it's purely as good as anywhere else. surrounded by fact, since masses of the schools out in that are just very soon getting their **** together with online classes, U of P might own it more together than most. (because many university haven't figured out but that you have to wages specialists to put classes online, not just tack the workload on to the regular duties of a classroom professor.)

i guess i would point out to the above professor that lots brick and mortar institutions are no better -- seeing students as "consumers" and handing degree out to those who pay is becoming the (dismal) flap of the future for most state institutions.

Other Answers:
It might, but the toga party sure do suck.
Source(s):

NO. I made the mistake of trying to teach near once. Just a diploma mill... degrees for mart to anyone who will pay, no declaration of guilt standards so half the students belong surrounded by high university, no academic standards at adjectives. You would just be throwing your tuition money away, nobody believes a scope from that place is even worth the price of the paper it is printed on.
No. It is a diploma mill and not a credible coaching resource.
