I worked as a computer programmer from home for 3 years during the y2k gig. I enjoy it greatly. I could work my own hours. I began work give or take a few 6:00 am and quit about 2:00 pm. However, in that were times when I worked until 2:00 am though not exceptionally often. Only when in that was a core problem to resolve.
My situation may not have be similar to yours though. My kids had adjectives grown up and left home long ago, so near we no distractions.
I work from home 1/2 days on Tuesday's and I'm in the bureau on M,W,F. Personally I like going into the bureau where I can be more focused.
DH works from home on M, W, F and he loves it! He would do anything to avoid his 1/2 hour respectively way commute to work and he get more done. This is for people that are serious and who don鈥檛 want to be misled as we enjoy tried many things and enjoy found a company that has be around for 21 Years and pays you to advertise for them. My wife and I merely started and are doing well. It is not an MLM company and no selling, no delivery or stocking product. My wife鈥檚 aunt has be working with this Company (Melaleuca) for for a time over 3 years and home schools 3 kids and make $9,000 a month.
