Remember that theres plenty of other customers out there you don't have need of one thats going to sout abuse and exact problems, so try to deal next to it but if you cant solve the problem within a few minutes the contact your supervisor and go beyond the problem on to them.

I deal near at least three of these every darkness. Put yourself in their shoes, describe them what they would want to hear and explain things well. Try to maintain the conversation simple and to the point, prevent it from dragging out or expanding to multiple other problems.
