To become a CNA, you with the sole purpose need to transport the CNA class and pass the exam, it's not not easy at all. They do engender a good amount of money for not have a lot of rearing ($9-$15 an hour) but it's very complicated work with not closely of oppurtunities. I worked as a CNA my senior year in large school because I plan on becoming an RN, and I saw it as freshly a stepping stone. The experience was costly, but not one that I'd want to have for the rest of my enthusiasm. CNA's generally draw from all the "dirty" work that nurses don't hold to do as much (dressing, bathing, assist in feed, transferring, etc.) with little appreciation. The facility I worked within was horrifying and understaffed, and I felt similar to the residents didn't get everything they deserved. Long story short, it's a great available job to have if you want to grasp into nursing, but I wouldn't look at it as a career move.
