is $2.50 too much of a lift up?

Question:iv'e worked for the company for 3 months at $15.00/hour.

Answers:
beter than nothing

Other Answers:
Good for YOU!! That is distinctive. Congrats

I would be happy beside that. I am getting close to my 3 month review so I would love to get a nice put on a pedestal like that. Is in that ever such a thing as too much of a elevate? I do pretty well if broken out by the hour, and if I get that amount as my annual raise, I wouldnt be too upset.
If you are asking for a raise- 16.6% is what you are asking for, and to be exact a pretty substantial raise.

I'm not sure what you're asking . . . if you're thinking of asking for a $2.50 bump up then I'd utter "that may be too much". Especially when you're already getting paid $15.00/hour. Do you deserve it? If the answer is yes, later it is surely not too much for a raise. However if you ask only just for the sake of asking, then yes, it is too much. We surely can't enlighten you what your efforts are worth for the company - we don't even know your splash of work.

Anyone ever worked for a Japanese employer?

Question:How was/is your experience?
Are they ethical?
What is their management technique?
Are they flexible?
What don't they appreciate?

I in recent times got a chore, and most of my managers will be Japanese. I a moment ago wanna know what I'm gonna be dealing with.

Answers:
How was/is your experience?
I
Are they ethical?

-->Depend on individuals or person.

What is their administration technique?

-->May be Japanese traditional unique style.. but if they graduate from MBA course, they might use its government style. But Japanese people usually receive traning of running at company but not univerisity or higher edcation so it is really depend on which company they belong to.

Are they flexible?

I guess they are tolerance and accept your countries culture. so may be flexible to you.
But it really depend on human being as well one is more flexible than others.. close to that.

What don't they appreciate?

--->(I guess) Top down management.
Japanese company usually rob bottom up management. In travel case of this you are expected to think by yourself what you should do and work short your boss's order sometime.

Please register it is also not easy for a Japanese worker to assume what they are really expected to do from their administrator without asking. So trying to product good communication from you to your organizer is important.

Other Answers:
Get organized for some morning calesthenics. I've seen the movie Gung Ho so I know what happen under Japanese mgmt.

The Japanese corporate culture is base on loyalty and respect. There are protocols for everything. For instance, you don't leave the bureau before your boss does. You don't form your boss look bad within front of other and etc. Most Japanese manager I've worked beside is very ethical. Most Japanese headship technique is authoritative. Depending on the manager, he or she is flexible. They don't appreciate folks that are disrespectful. Good Luck! My sister does, and is under the worst stress of her energy.
They are fair as pay cheque, but they are truly workaholics and expect you to be also-24/7-she has even have to take a company phone near her on vacations to toy with customer relations.

Most unfair-is when people wrapping up up quitting (engineers, top employees such as supervisors, not the labor force) they do no ask other workers for feedback as to what is going on, why they are losing such valuable force. Just different from American Corporate, pro's and con's with both.

When anyone interviewed for a more prominent situation position, I've be told I should speak Spanish!?

Question:I live in AZ, more & more during interviews, I've be told I should speak Spanish. When I ask if it is required, they say, "no", but I know it's a big factor. What if my second terms is German? Why Spanish? I think it's discriminating. My interview today be with a Latino, who I could BARELY recognize his broken English, and I kept asking him to repeat his questions. This be very frustrating, I needed to ask HIM why he couldn't learn proper English!

Answers:
Yep, Spanish is the unmarked English.

Seriously, though, in various other countries it is expected that everyone is fluent in at most minuscule two langagues. Especially in Europe.

As more immigrant come to the US, the English-only speakers will become more and more isolated as the minorities become majorities This trend is prevalent in Texas, and shows no signs of reversing. Better that you know more (learn Spanish) and gain the good thing over your competition.

Other Answers:
Yes, it is frustrating. But it's real. In AZ, near are a lot of family who are very concrete workers, but they speak only Spanish. It really won't hurt to swot, a little at a time.

That will embezzle you further than them learning English.

I devise you already know what it requires to become successful in AZ so do what it take to succeed if you are going to continue to reside in that it won't hurt yes it takes rather time but it is better now next later because it sounds as though you are going to stipulation to do whatever it requires to return with what you want if you know spanish very capably and someone interviews you with broken english but speaks spanish primarily I would ask if they would mind if we spoke spanish instead of english show bad your skills that would be a plus but find the right words and way to try to work it within you might just win within the end but if you do not speak spanish swot it because it will help you very soon and in the adjectives even if you find a job tomorrow cram spanish you will need it sooner or subsequently.
Source(s):
Determination Gee your not very nice I see, undoubtedly its AZ theres going to be people that speak spanish and if you spoke german it isnt really adjectives here. As for him learning english its easier said than done and if that directive passes it isnt going to stop them from wanting ancestors who speak spanish, if more people lived here that know german they would rather own someone who speaks it rather than someone who doesnt same go with every lexis

Most people don't know what they want to be until at lowest possible their first or second year of college. So concentrate on finishing high arts school first, but keep your eyes embark on for other possibilities. Also concentrate on what you like. If you close to art, think more or less being an art instructor, a museum curator or an art therapist. If you approaching cooking, think going on for being a chef, pastry artist, or restaurant regulator. There's a million and one options for ANY given interest. Let yourself settle into where on earth you feel most comfortable.

The average student change their major surrounded by college 3 times before finding what's best for them. So when you bring to college, take your broad studies classes FIRST (history, english, fine arts, psychology, etc) and see what calls to you the most. You don't enjoy to jump right into planning for a work.

Personally, I have looked-for to be a teacher since 3rd level. The idea of have all summer, every weekend and every holiday to spend next to my future family unit has really driven me. But teaching's not for everyone. I own changed the subject that I wanted to initiate a dozen times however. As of now, I want to guide 11th grade American Studies. But I originally required to teach English surrounded by Spanish-speaking countries, then I considered necessary to teach spanish, afterwards I wanted to tutor math, then I required to teach Astronomy... The possibilities are perpetual.

The average person also change careers 2 to 5 times during their lifetime, so you don't hold to set anything in stone. See what interests you the MOST and follow your gut ambience. Just don't rule out other oppurtunities. You might not really like english, but after have an amazing english professor and an interesting class, you might change your mind.

There's no requirement to worry! Everything will work out! Just try your best on everything and keep hold of marching forward! Good luck!!

You can draw from a real estate liscence, surrounded by any state, in nearly 3 months. It involves a course (about $275) and a VERY HARD test (it is possible though, and you can retake it).
Its not tough to get into a motor sales.Almost every motor dealership is always looking for sale people. But as expected it depends on your location. As far as a Realtor, if that's what you mean, in good health that's a different story. You can usually call Realtors and see if they are taking anyone for training.dutiful luck on your search.
Relator?? Realtor, as within Real-estate?? First it be wise to swot up to spell it, then look within the Yellow Pages under like peas in a pod, many volunteer classes to get your license, and nearby also, specific schools for this, a short time ago shop for the cheapest, it very glib. You just obligation to learn indisputable things for this work, and pass a Test given by the State Realtor Board/Commission. One article they actually coach is the Proper Pronouncing of your profession. ;-)
Talk to people contained by these areas, so, you know. Realtor, you need a Cell, Business Cards, Yard Signs etc. Company may furnish the sign, but, YOU may own to furnish the Bumper Sticker on it with your label and Cell number, I have worked contained by this before, it is fun and you can trade name good money if you organized.
Most Car dealer offer free training for this paddock and sometimes pay you a small net until you get going.
Both of the above may be a commissioned base work!! Learn, think and GO GET'EM GIRL!
first you would hold to loose all your morels and swot up to lie unbelievably well. are you a frozen worker? if so , you need to forget that, adjectives you need to do is know how to put or hire someone to put a sign in the courtyard, fill out a simple contract stating you will collect a commission no event how little help or force you offered sell or buyer,
that's pretty much it, oh one other point leave conscious down...

You did the right thing by approaching your instant supervisor. I would also contact human resources. Sad to say that dealership manager have huge ego. His job is to boost the ego of every sale person on his floor. He never should own spilled your salary to others.

Tell ya what. Walk me down the sidewalk within front of his dealership. When he comes out I'll play nice then bite his friggin' knees cap. How's that nouns? :o)

Other Answers:
I don't know of a law prohibiting such information from getting out, but it really doesn't build a very suitable environment and can cause nouns (especially if someone there is remunerated comparable or less and feel slighted). This is an issue for Human Resources to tackle.

No. It is not professional. Sure... in that is no privacy law. In certainty, many league workers are paid stale a published labor chart, so everyone knows.

If you similar to your job, stick beside it.

IN EVERY COMPANY THEY HAVE A PRIVACY ACT. YOU DON'T DISCUSS YOUR PAY WITH ANYBODY, IS DIFFERENT IF YOU DISCUSSED WITH OTHER EMPLOYEES, BUT YOUR MANAGER IS NOT SUPPOSES TO DISCUSS THAT INFORMATION. IN THE COMPANY WHERE I WORK SHE WILL BE OUT OF THE JOB REALLY QUICK.
IF I WERE YOU I WILL TAKE TO THE HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST.

Technically it is not illegal but it is importantly unprofessional. If the jerk did not apologize to you contained by front of the same 4 race he spilled your salary to, you should insist on that. But that's nearly all you can do roughly it.
