Depends on where on earth you work. I have a friend that worked contained by a pediatrician's office stocking exam rooms. In nursing homes, hospitals, rehab services, you set people up for bathing and dressing... bestow assistance as needed depending on how much they can do for themselves, including bathing them completely. You deliver and set up meal trays and provide assitance ingestion, from just prompting to feed. You give assistance walking, and transferring to and from bed to stool, etc. You help populace turn and reposition. You answer call lights and receive them what they need, including rime and water, snacks, etc. You sustain them do exercises or do passive (meaning they can't help) exercises on limb that don't move on their own. You comfort people to the bathroom and yess you wipe butts. Depends on where on earth you work and how much they can do for themselves, how big your patient nouns is, I've seen anywhere from 6-20. You interact near them, read to them, talk to them, play games next to them when you get extra time. Again depends on where on earth you work. Its hard, but rewarding, if you close to your job.

How do I word pay requirements within a cover memorandum?
Question:Answers:
I agree w/ the first post: if you can avoid it, at all costs, do so. He who mentions earnings first usually loses that game. During my undertaking search I read a book by Jack Chapman (G00GLE him). Sometimes they state it as a requirement, or you won't even be considered. If they enjoy stated a salary list, obviously, breed sure you can live with that. If you can't, the job's not for you. If they state no take-home pay range, after go on the pattern and find out what people within that job usually return with in your nouns. You could state something like, "My income requirements would be in the mid-forties, as such is commensurate beside the median salary within the Chicago area." This tell the employer a couple of things: you did your research, and you know the job open market for that industry/position.
Other Answers:
It's not recommended by most resume/cover missive books. I guess so the company interviewer can ask you in party. I personally enjoy just mentioned the net requirements in personage by stating that I'm worth $10,000 more than my last job's income, then state a few reason why. It's worked sometimes.
AS A MANAGER, I WOULD BE INCLINED TO AGREE WITH THE SECOND POST. SHE HAS DONE HER HOMEWORK. IF YOU ARE NOT ASKED THEN DO NOT SEND REQUIREMENTS IN WITH YOUR COVER LETTER.IF YOU ARE ASKED TO SEND YOUR REQUIREMENTS,KNOW THE AVERAGE WAGE FOR THAT AREA AND BE REALISTIC ACCORDING TO YOUR EXPERIENCE AT THE POSITION BEING APPLIED FOR.IN OTHER WORDS LITTLE EXPERIENCE WILL PROBABLY NOT GET YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AVERAGE WAGE WHEN STARTING OUT,BUT ON THE OTHER SIDE IF YOU HAVE ALOT OF EXPERIENCE AT THE APPLIED FOR POSITION YOU MAY GET ABOVE AVERAGE STARTING WAGE. HAPPY HUNTING.

What can start if I impose sanctions to sign a no compete agreement?
Question:The company I work for has be bought and I have a sense that the new owners will try to force me to sign the non competing and confidientiality agreement.Answers:
They may elect to call off.
Many corps, especially in totally competitive industries (i.e. tech, pharmaceuticals, software) have exceedingly stringent policies regarding non-compete agreements. If you elect not to sign, they may bestow you a severence package, and ask that you travel elsewhere.
Other Answers:
They can fire you. You should look at your options. You could put them rotten by saying you have need of to have your advocate look at it. They might forget about it.
Everything have value if they want the non compete afterwards you set a price for that, since it is a new company they can hire or fire but if you sign modify it to that if you are no longer employed by them the agreement terminate 1 day after employment ends
if you are salaried are you required to work more thatn 40 hrs minus overtime?
Question:What are the laws in the region of thisAnswers:
possibly. salary a short time ago means if you work beneath 40 hours you or more you only acquire paid for 40.
Other Answers:
In nonspecific - yes. That is what salaried means. 40 hrs is for hourly folk.
If you are rewarded slary, yes they can make you work over 40hrs in need paying you overtime.
Usually if you are a salaried worker, you don't get salaried overtime. You work the number of hours necessary to bring your job done.
Depends on the contract. It is usually implied that you do more work than 40 hours a week because they are paying you more usually.
Yes, salaried routine they can work you as many hours as they want without paying you overtime, but you do capture paid even when you're sick, or when you filch off work.
It depends. Read your contract.
BTW- If you put somebody through the mill your employer, they may decide to engineer you hourly and grant you an hourly wage and hinder the hours you can work. If this is a problem, you may not in the best suited job. Check out the link below for assistance surrounded by a career move.

if u r an exempt member of staff than yes u do but if u r a non-exempt employee consequently u must be paid 1.5 overtime wage. thats adjectives
The law say that salaried employess are exempt from overtime laws. That mechanism that they are paying you a set amount to do a job, and if you can't do it surrounded by 40 hours, that's your problem. They do not owe you overtime pay.
Welcome to the big league buddy.
Pretty much, yeah. Some places give comp time to receive up for some of the overtime, but it's at the individual employer's discretion. hopefully there will be other weeks when you work smaller quantity than 40 hours to make up for it!
You can walk to the eeoc.gov website for the regulations, but I am salaried and not required to work more than 40 hours however if I am needed to stay for any reason I am requested.
Salaried ability you are required to work as much as needed. That's why salaried jobs rate higher, the potential to work overtime is already figure into the gross pay.
Assuming you are contained by the USA, a salaried employee is not compensated overtime. We work as many hours as important to get the undertaking done.
If I finish my work in 35 hours, later YIPPEE! If it takes me 50 hours to finish my work the subsequent week, then it sucks to be me. No thing what, I collect the same paycheck.
Source(s):
Salaried hand since 1985.
This depends on the company you work for. I am salaried, but no matter how tons hours I work, I always bring the same retribution. Some places do give you overtime even if you are salaried, but thats pretty intermittent I think. If you are hourly, afterwards you definitely attain overtime. Although I worked as a manager of a movie theater (only for one month!) and be paid hourly, and no concern how many hours I worked, I never get overtime. I was working 60+ hours a week too! I wasnt at hand long...
Uhhh dude....thats what salaried means. You agree to work till the charge is done for a set amount per year. The laws are fine next to it. If you don't like it don't do it but I guarentee you'll never form more as someone who is concerned with their hourly wage. Think outside that small box you are surrounded by man....
When you are salaried...you work whatever hours the charge requires.......sometimes less than 40 hours....usually more. If it did not pick up your employer money.....you would be hourly.
If your job tell you to do it, you do it, and you don't get salaried over time
You are not required, but chances are, you will work more than 40 hours per week.
yep
Yes, you don't gain overtime if you are salaried. But on the other hand, you kind more money.
You are at the mercy of the boss...hopefully he's reasonable....
...OR you can work LESS than 40 hours a week and still return with paid for the FULL 40!!
LIKE I DO!!
WHEEEE!
God I love my living!
SUCKERSSSSS!
You are not required to work over 40 hours unless needed. However, you will not get compensated overtime. Most companies offer comp time to salaried human resources.
yes they can make you work adjectives the hours they want
yes.
In this case, I other try to work only 40 hours a week. It's usually more close to 42 or 43. But sometimes when I feel similar to crap, I just vacate a little impulsive. Also, get rewarded when you're sick that's a benefit. They can't necessarily require you to work more than 40 hours if you're salaried, but prepare to be fired if you don't.
ain't gona happen!
Salaried inhabitants can work 80 hours without overtime. (Unless you enjoy a signed contract that states, after so many hours you are eligible for overtime earnings.)
You are required to do what ever it takes to return with the job done. I know of no law about this.
It generaly method the company owns you.The law won't comfort you here.

Well if you're looking for a scope with lots of opportunity I've heard a business amount is a good one. There's different concetrations, regulation, finance, etc. So you hold some choice but I think it would apply to greatly of different jobs. You may also want to check around at your campus, nearby is usually a department/office or whatever that will support students find jobs.
your best bet is to see what is the most requested job in your state, afterwards from there clear your decision of what subject should study. it truly make no sense to study something that is not going to settle up you back next. good luck contained by your decisions. oh by the instrument i haven't noticed that tons jobs mortal offered for anything to do with computers. First of adjectives you cannot compare getting a job contained by the IT world with an AA verus a BS. Most companis lone look for grads with a BS amount. And second it depends on what area geographically you want to be. Of course it will be easier to find a commission in the IT world if you be in the Silicon Valley verus no where on earth Ohio. If you like that corral you are in I suggest you stick beside it, but it would be wise to check near your placement office to see how powerfully they place people beside that certain scope.
