I work in Customer Service for an animal supply company on the west coast. I own a set customer base that I service. It is so much fun to work next to the same customers. I win to know them, their stores, their ordering pattern, etc. They begin to trust you and depend on you to serve them through issues they have beside their stores. Most of the stores we service are small Mom and Pop corner shops, so this is their bread and butter. I love the person to soul contact and the fact that I procure to build a relationship with my set customers. I don't expect that I would be nearly as fulfilled in a customer service department in recent times answering any old string...

I suppose I like it because I got to congregate all kind of people, infantile, old, some conversant and some very, incredibly funny. at the same time I also like it because all I enjoy is a high arts school education, and I did not know of another place of employment that would hire me. it offered me a mode to work my way up, if I treated my customers next to respect, and stayed at the job year after year, I could go and get up to a 75 cent raise every 6 months, up until I be making 12 dollars an hour. and if I was dutiful enough at customer service, administration would see this and promote me to a higher position, such as a principal cashier, or a customer service head. I saw a great opportunity for myself in this, and thought it be a great way to be employed since I have no other skills, and they were ready to train me in making progress, and other important customer service skills. this be a huge plus for me, because, again, all I have was a glorious school diploma. working another hurried food job merely didn鈥檛 appeal to me as much. so much grease, and so much to clean up at the finish off of the day. plus I seem to get allot more disgruntled customers within fast food than I did customer service. I guess any I鈥檓 a bad food service creature, or I just unloved having to verbs up the same dishes, like dinning room, with customer service I never really have to clean anything up.
