Can't resolve: be a Doctor or Police Officer?
There's a difference between "as someone else" and "for someone else." If you are helping someone return with a job and want to compress in some information for them, it doesn't build much difference. HOWEVER: you absolutely cannot sign the application for them. They call for to sign, and when they do, they are saying that everything on the application is correct. Most application enjoy a signature statement saying that if the company discovers you own lied, or misrepresented yourself in anyway, they will not process your application. Basically, contained by trying to help, you could cost somone a work opportunity.
If you mean "as somone else," consequently no. That would be lying and fraud. What you call yourself is up to you and it's not unfair, but misrepresenting your withholding or Social Security is.
