Why this policy at Target?
I bought a christmas tree. took it home, A week subsequently I go to put it up and the foot be missing. I go to filch it put money on for an even exchange. I diddnt hold the account. Its be over a week since I bought it. the sticker near the store number be still on the box, so they know it come from their store. they wouldnt exchange it because I payed currency for it,. in a minute what am I sposed to do next to a tree that wont stand up? I dont make out why they own this policy contained by their store? Is it their track of ripping past its sell-by date the customer?Answers: Wow, I go online and read their return policy, U R right, they are unbelievably restrictive, NO returns minus acceptance when used change. not even store-credit! I must influence, I own notice that frequent stores hold tightened their return policies over the final year or two. I will probably shop Target alot smaller amount presently that you help bring their poor return policy to my attention, thank you.
They do this to avoid paying someone for returning a stolen item.
I realize a Christmas tree would be knotty to steal but they can't single some things out and not others.
I've never hear of ANY store beside that as a return policy, and I worked at Target for several years. Most stores will do an even exchange even lacking a reciept. You may try calling the Target headquarters or speaking to a representative at the store you're trying to return it to. You may also know how to receive replacement foot from the tree factory owner.

If they won't do anything, freshly buy a tree stand from Walmart, they hold them really cheap.
That's kinda uncharacteristic that they won't exchange it or agree to you at most minuscule enjoy the legs from another tree! Well, I can't answer for Target specifically. But when I be within glorious arts school I worked retail and witnessed a great deal of relatives attempting to return stuff that didn't qualify for returns.
For example, returning products that be purchased over a year ago (they would swear they merely bought it, but it would be something the store have not carried for months)

I be getting arranged to repeal my DIRECTV and phone/DSL and adjectives of sudden the customer service reps started whining almost how I don't involve to dissolve my service. They after bugged me to extermination something like giving me a discount on my services for in the order of 15 months or so. I told them I be tired of the rising costs and I am through next to them.
