In business does the big fish other eat the little fish ?
For example could G00GLE ever buy Yahoo out ?Answers: no G00GLE doesnt need to do that its already the most popular by far, near would be no point, but yes i would say contained by business the big fish eats the little fish most of the time, and panos you seem very hooked with G00GLE today are you alright?
Mmmm, would G00GLE ever want to??
Let's frontage it who wants to buy Northern Rock?
LOL!!
Yahoo is a big fish immediately. I think both will buy smaller turn out engines if there marketplace share shrink. Yahoo is growing in souk share against G00GLE because of the news on yahoo homepage and answers. G00GLE will enter into the marketplace in both catagories. It merely a matter of time.
This is a bit of a broad quiz to answer here, but the quick answer is no.
There are plenty of examples of companies growing through getting hold of (as your fish analogy explains). However, there are several instances where on earth this does not or cannot happen, implication it does not "always" happen:
* Monopolies, surrounded by most countries are not allowed. In the UK the monopolies commission looks at big deal and can prevent "big fishes" from buying out too many "small fishes" as it would threaten competition, and hurt the consumer contained by the long run.
* Growth through acquisition is not an confident option. Buying out a company requires considerable resources, and it is difficult to integrate two separate businesses successfully into one single entity. It is not odd for big acquisitions to considerably undercut companies share prices, and harm profitability for lots years.
* In the current climate where credit is contained by short supply, even companies with the appetite to buy "smaller fish" are one prevented to as they cannot raise the funds.
* "smaller fish" commonly merge with other "smaller fish".
With regard to your specific example - I don't know. I am not sure how this would be regulated, but I expect they would probably be prevented from doing so in the interests of competition. Indeed, I doubt it would be worth G00GLE’s while. Yahoo would cost them a massive amount, and it would be difficult to integrate the two businesses meaningfully. As we enjoy seen G00GLE’s strategy is to acquire businesses which help out it diversify its offering, as they are already comfortable in the turn upside down engine market.
not necessarily hun, here are exceptions to every rule

Should we as americans?
should we be buying products from american companys if they close there plants here and move to other countries? GE is closing in that side by side plant here to go to mexico!Answers: Americans should ALWAYS desire the "best deal", since doing so is what built the efficiency of America. Think almost it, if you genuinely believe that the American business model is not robust ample to adapt & survive beyond the US border, consequently you don't REALLY understand what America is and what she stands for!
Yes. we should be more worried something like where we buy these products from *cough* wal-mart because wal-mart is such a huge customer to so masses manufacturers that they constraint the low prices that they get and it forces companies resembling GE to out source to Mexico.
