Why all "Virgin" stores changed their names for "Zavvi"? Does this name stand for anything or has no meaning?
Answers: They were bought out by them. I think Zavvi are an Irish company and Virgin sold all their stores to them
This is another example of taking a name that everybody is familiar with and changing it so that it has no meaning whatsoever, and these companies then complain that trade suddenly drops .They need to go back to the basic principles of advertising and product recognition.
