Ever hear of need a number to pick up a box next to the Post Office?
I need comfort on this matter...I ordered a dress from India, and although we initially agreed I'd salary half later and half when I get the dress, they're now unfolding me I need to rate the rest.
They told me the dress is "in transit" and they'll endow with me the tracking number to get the dress if I pay envelope the rest. Otherwise, I don't get the dress.
I've never hear of needing any sort of number to pick up a roll sent to your home address. Are they telling me the truth or are they lying? They don't speak terrifically good English (it's coming from India to the U.S.) They solely accepted money transfers so I be leery about making an expensive purchase, and that's why I agreed to compensate half presently.

Answers: I suggest cutting your losses and running. Don't consent to these people verbs you around by the nose. It does nouns shady to me; I've never heard of paying partially and half for a purchase and later have the dress held hostage by the sender.
If they truly sent it, you shouldn't want the tracking number. If you go online to the post organization, or to whichever service the sender used, you should be able to find that tracking number yourself entering your info as the beneficiary.
I suspect the dress was never sent. I know you want it, and it's a burn that you already remunerated, but this doesn't make sense to me; bath your hands of it and find a smaller quantity shady seller.

When they just accept money transfers, your on shakey ground already. The certainty they even accepted 'partly now' tells me they be happy to find someone gullable ample to give them any money. Sorry if that be blunt and maybe I'm wrong. Hope for your sake I am and you bring back your dress :)
