Royal Mail (wrong) confinement service - Has anyone else experienced anything close to this?
In this morning's post I had one notification addressed to 'The Occupier'. In the following couple of hours 3 different neighbours come round next to a total of 8 items, all clearly address to me with my identify, correct house number and post code. Is this a mistake or carelessness. When the 1st neighbour call I thought nothing of it, mistakes surface but by the time the 3rd neighbour called I feel I should be making a polite complaint.
Should Royal Mail be made aware of such errors, after all not adjectives neighbours would be honest enough to re-deliver messages.
Answers: Yes they should be made aware. Get in touch near them and complain.
Happened to me,just enjoy a word with the postman
as some are surely dyslectic.
Yes, I used to achieve all the post for several houses down the street, so I rang Royal Mail and they sent me an apology and a book of stamps!
In RustyB's grip it was patent that the postman doing the delivery didn't enjoy his mind on the job!
You can e-mail the Royal Mail from their network site and usually they do something about it.

The service will obtain worse as the Royal Mail is asset-stripped and slimmed down ready for privatisation.
Has your local post bureau been closed down however?

How to pedal when your boss is taking credit for your work?
I submitted a report which discusses my department's productivity to my boss. Well, weeks later I still havent hear anything from her, so I emailed her asking what she thinks going on for it. The other day I hear one of the executives talking around the exact productivity changes and I own a feeling that my boss submitted it and is taking cvredit for it. How do I pedal this?Answers: Good bosses advertise the flawless work and ideas of their staff. Insecure or inexperienced bosses may submit the work of their staff lacking properly attributing the staff. In fairness, you don't know if your boss attributed the ideas to you or not. Ask your boss how that report on productivity go.
You don't say where on earth you work, but In some industries it is common for the group governor to forward individual ideas as "group effort", consequently privately promote the more creative and productive individuals. Learn the culture of your group and style of your boss before taking achievement.
Could you start a conversation with one of the execs something like the changes? Then drop surrounded by 'i did a report about that not so long ago!'
Or, request a proper interview with your boss something like the report. Say you'd like feedback on your work and you could even ask for a colleague to sit surrounded by because they're interested in productivity too. Then you enjoy a witness!
First, you have to be categorically certain that your boss have committed this selfish handling.
When you are positive, confront her!
Did you keep a copy for yourself?
That will help out prove it.
Then, if she doesn't give you the credit, emergency a hefty raise!
Even if this blows up surrounded by your face, at least possible you know you were well-mannered enough!
Good luck, sweetie!
Confront her and permit her know you heard other executives discussion about your report... You' d close to to know the status.
Or
Email her and cc the executives that you overheard talking give or take a few your suggestions - in your email ask her if here is a status on the suggestions you made on the productivity changes...
Good Luck.
You should hold a sit-down talk near your supervisor (I dislike the term 'boss') and discuss it. Explain that even though they are your supervisor, you should enjoy received credit for the work. Explain what you overhead. Be very courteous and not accusatory or confrontational)
(No doubt if this is how your 'boss' conducts business, I'd wager to read aloud that this particular individual cheated in academy to get ahead as resourcefully, but I digress..)
Be prepared to find another job. As a event of fact, you might enjoy something lined up beforehand you discuss this with your supervisor). Also, the subsequent time you are asked to prepare a repot, in adornment to submitting it to your 'boss', also submit a copy to their supervisor as well (at matching time), so there is NO misunderstanding as to who did the work.
Hopefully, you hold dated records contained by your computer.this would hopefully superceed her submission.Seems like this is debauched..Can you talk next to an executive about it.making sure you hold the dated proof..including the emails later to the "boss" taking credit for your work.
I would suggest you also keep hold of a diary of sorts dated and updated regularly. Sometimes, the only passageway to get accredited is to toot your own horn...I would clear this up tho.as she apparently isn't doing her job.so take your work as hers. How many other ancestors in the bureau is she doing this with..humm Could be time to blow the whistle.survey your back.
Hillary's right, for the most module, you dont' have intellectual rights when you work as an 'at-will' member of staff.
and its alway expected that your boss will take your angelic ideas and run next to them.
you have some choices:
1. you can be quiet agressive and "deny" your intellect to your boss or even pass along usless or misleading concept and information
2. actively agressive and confront them about "stealing" your accepted wisdom.
3. be professional. You are an "Idea -Gerbil" its your job to come up next to labor, time and cost saving philosophy
You can always ask: How did the xyz presentation progress? did they like THE opinion of ABC? not mentioning who's idea it be.
Unless this idea be trully original, I wouldn't sweat it.
work more on your trade and less on who get what credit.
you'll advance much quicker that style.
