Unfair layoff??
Ok, the company which i worked for decided as of jan 1 2008, they be laying sour the last 15 inhabitants they hired. And just so you know, this IS a larger, nation huge company. Well, of the 15 they hired.. i had the 2nd earliest start date. One started 3 days back me and the rest all started at least possible 3 weeks after me. When i was told of the lay sour, the manager clearly said, they appointment people final in directive of their original start date. I asked 4 other manager. All said the same article. They call stern in establish of hire date. Today i went shopping nearby... and i saw there be two people call back. One who started three days up to that time me and one who started three weeks after me. I had no write ups, and never have any problems. Now maybe the living desciption will help, It be pushing carts. Pushing cart for the whole hours of daylight of work. I did it for 4 months before i be laid off and i be one of two girls out of the 15. I pushed myself and worked soo hard for that company.Answers: I am sorry to articulate this but the bottom line within United states is PRESENTATION "the key for success". May be you worked harder than others but your manager should not have notice or may be the other guy has presented himself resourcefully and more hard working than you.
I would suggest you to jump and talk to one of your best inspector and ask him your negatives, other criticism in the right bearing helps on a winning streak . May be they don't like you for some explanation which you might not be knowing. Sometimes these kind of incidents will relief you grow stronger, whatever happen is for your good and keep hold of going.
Unless you have something contained by writing you cannot take any permitted action.

You should present your reason to them, and ask them why you were chosen and others be called posterior. If that fails a attorney could be used and you could file for sexist treatment.
